    Orange chicken
    Carla S.

Sesame chicken here was passable, typical, very sweet, drowning in sauce. After our first visit, we thought portion size was light. But in fact, we somehow accidentally got a combo. Second time around, delivery, portions were the right size, big. Orange chicken was pretty good. Just be sure to eat around the freshly sliced orange peel, it's just a seasoning. Hot and sour soup had good flavor, but some weird vegetables in it like lettuce. Wait for it to cool a little so it loses it's jelly consistency. Still on a quest to find the best fast food Chinese near our temporary housing in NW OKC. Not a bad option.

Uninspired sweet and sour chicken and leafy egg rolls

I decided to have China house deliver food to my place of work. I ordered sweet and sour chicken and one vegetable roll and one pork roll. It came with fried rice. The food was delivered hot. The chicken itself was well cooked. The batter was thin and golden brown. The chicken was a bit on the dry side. I found a piece of bone in one of the pieces of chicken so please be careful when you order from China House. Both the vegetable and pork rolls had crispy crusts. This was the best part about them. The interior of both was far too leafy for my taste. The scarcely cut cabbage was chewy and more like eating a salad. The rice was sticky white rice suitable for sushi perhaps but not complimentary to sweet and sour chicken. The sweet and sour sauce was adequate if a bit syrup like. All in all not a great source for Chinese food and beware of bones in the chicken.

Steamed Dumplings cooked to perfection as always :)

I have this delivered at least 2-3 times a month (almost once a week it seems lately). The same nice gentleman delivers it hot and fresh Before the quoted wait time too! I will say that I am obsessed with sauces/sides so I end up requesting more and it's always there. I've had quite a few dishes from here, Sweet 'n Sour Chicken, Cashew Chicken, Vegetable Lo Mein, Chicken Lo Mein, Hot 'n Sour Soup, Egg Drop Soup, Vegetable Chow Mein, Egg Rolls and I'm sure more. Each dish mentioned above was fantastic! I don't have a single complaint! :) Also, I added a couple of pictures of the Steamed Dumplings which were amazing.

SS Pork! Super fresh and hot!

Are you looking for some great Chinese Delivery tonight? Did this China House pop up in your area? China House is good. Second time ordering delivery, and not disappointed. (Note: the hot and sour soup was not as great as last time, taste kinda plastic-like) First time we ordered: Hot and Sour Soup, Chicken Wings, Egg Roll, Chow Mei Fun Roasted Pork, and Garlic Chicken. Whoa, food for days This time: SS Pork, Moo Shu Veggie, Steamed Dumplings, and Hot and Sour Soup. Almost all crazy good (note precious mention of Soup), and seriously food for days. Delivery was quoted at 30 minutes, but arrived 5 minutes early.

Excellent!!! Dropped by late Friday night and ordered the shrimp in graphic sauce. They made it fresh while I waited. The proportions are big and the qualities of food is excellent! I was impressed at the size of the shrimp-they aren't using the small cocktail shrimp which is incredibly hard to find.

Mongolian Beef (medium heat) lunch combo w/ egg roll $5.50

You can order your food through Yelp Eat24 for easy pickup. That's what I did on my way to the car. Got to China House ten minutes later and they had my order ready and waiting. That was quick! Too quick... I've had China House in the past and it was always disappointing. It was either super saucy and too sweet, or undercooked and tasteless. This time was better, with a good mix of sauce and spice. The service could still be better (you'll probably get a lady on her Bluetooth headphone talking to someone else while she rings you up) but for a $5.50 lunch combo, you could definitely do worse.

I love this place. I get the beef with broccoli and fried dumplings- so very good! The rice is always really soft, just the way I like it.

Their food selection is impressive for the Online -- To Go Menu. At first, thought, the prices are…read morethe higher-end Market Rate, so I knew upfront that either they are actually very good for their menu prices to sustain it, or it's a clever Entrepreneurial approach for hitting the road running at fast pace. I looked at the reviews and everything told me they are as good as they claim, without being "Breaking The Bank Account." The online services are good. Ordered meals for a robust two person dinner for home, because we just wanted to eat at home after a long busy day at work. Nothing fancy, just a comfort meal in bed while watching a Rom-com Movie and enjoying our beautiful dinner. I for one absolutely LOVE Curry Chicken over white rice. The recipe and portions are perfect. So anything you order should be a "Home Run" meal from Grand China! I grew up being able to eat The Original "Jackson Street" San Francisco China Town Center Chinese Food Restaurants. History: San Francisco China Town is the original destination for Millions of Chinese Immigrants who came to America directly from China to work on The Trans-Continental Railroad in the early 19th Century. If you ever watched Bruce Lee's Movies, he shows you a lot about SF China Town's history. Point being, SF China Town set the food quality benchmark ever since they arrived to provide labor for the railroads buildup across America in the early 19th Century. Grand China exceeds that SF China Town Benchmark and you won't be disappointed. Good Day

Missed the mark…read more Ordered orange beef with fried rice and pork lo mein The orange beef was soggy and way over sauced. That's probably what made it soggy. Some bites had tablespoon sized globs of thick sauce on them. Not good. Other bites had hardly any sauce. I expect my food tossed in sauce, not the sauce kind of thrown on top like its gravy. Fyi: fried rice means plain fried rice. It's just rice that is fried. No veggies or anything. So make sure to specify if you want veggies and egg. This is my mistake. The lo mein was a fairly tasty average lo mein with thick noodles. I probably won't order it again, but it was filling. Portions were pretty standard Chinese takeout portions. Prices were pretty standard as well. Overall, I'd say this is a pretty average Chinese takeout place that just needs to toss the food a bit more after adding sauce.
