Chinese that can't be beat! Always fresh always great flavors! Great to have near our home so whenever we feel like Chinese it's just up the road!

This is my go to for delicious takeout Chinese food. This is a takeout restaurant only, they're open six days a week from 11:30 to 9:00-closed on Monday. Heard of my favorite, hot and sour soup. I'm Goliann beef, and the house lo mein which consist of chicken pork and shrimp, linguine style noodles and they're tasty sauce. They have family specials daily, combo specials and individual servings, starting with appetizers, soup, chicken, wings, and more. If you're in the neighborhood, give it a try, don't forget it's take out only.

Nice staff took my order in person and did fantastic. I was in the area passing through on way home I was craving Chinese. I did a carryout - my food was cooked to order and it was piping hot. My order was accurate and I definitely will return when in the situation of hunger for Chinese. I really felt valued with my interaction with the staff. The egg rolls and chicken fried rice was stellar. (Staff) They were pleasant and smiling....that goes a long way! Thank you again for being awesome. Respectfully, Bryan Yukon, Oklahoma

Beef and broccoli. Sweet and sour chicken

10/10 I've tried several things from here and they are all delicious. Portion sizes are hefty and well balanced (not too many vegetables) definitely the spot to get good Chinese

Sweet n sour chicken & crab Rangoon

They have the best sweet-and-sour chicken! The batter reminds me of Long John Silver batter. It is so good! The crab rangoon is filled so full. I always ask for extra sweet-and-sour sauce and they give me more than enough. Everything I have had there has been excellent!

    General Tso's, average

Again, another local Americanized Chinese place that is doing it a little better, but not as good as it should be. General Tso's is typical for the area, large portion, heavily breaded, smothered in a sweet and slightly spicy chili sauce. Passable, but it's missing the tangy vinegar, needs more caramelization of the sauce and more peppery heat. And their hot & sour soup is one of the most disappointing around, bland, very eggy, as if they just added some vegetables to an unseasoned egg drop soup. Avoid it altogether. They get very distracted on the phone while taking orders. So be sure to double check everything. This is a fairly busy takeout spot. If you order at dinnertime any day of the week, expect a line of other to-go customers waiting patiently. Overall QQ is just okay. Too bad there isn't any better within 10 miles. Well, besides Panda Express, meh.

They've got the roast meats, a large Chinese dinner menu, an equally large Vietnamese dinner menu, catering for events, and my favorite: their dimsum menu. For their regular menu, my family and I will frequently order to go and occasionally dine in. We often order off the Chinese menu when we're going family style (flat noodles, salt & pepper squid, egg noodle lo mein, and scallion chicken are some of our favorites), and we will order from the Viet menu for individual portions (we love their egg noodle soups, pho, broken rice platters). One of my favorite dishes is their lotus root summer salad, and I've not found another place that beats that dish here! I've found their service with regular dining in to be hit or miss. Most of the time we get great service but a few times here and there we have a hard time finding our server. Moving on to my favorite part of Golden Phoenix- the dimsum. They serve dimsum primarily on the weekends from opening to 3pm (I think), and they have really brought up the OKC dimsum game with their large and delicious dimsum menu! Their dumplings like the hargow and shiumai are large, filling, and delicious! I particularly love the fried shrimp and chives dumpling and their shrimp egg rolls. The service during dimsum is fantastic because they've got people pushing around carts and carrying plates of food out to you. Once you're ready for dessert, make sure you grab some egg tarts for the table!

Normally, as I stated, I only get chicken from a place that gives me chunks of fried or battered chicken. I made the mistake of getting Kung Pao chicken from Grand China. How anyone could stomach this is beyond me. It was horrible. No flavor, no spice. Way too many peanuts and vegetables. I had to leave this review. Luckiky I also got my normal Sezchuan Pork so at least I have something to eat. Never again will I get chicken from here. Honestly, I have no idea how many of you eat chicken from Chinese restaurants. It's disgusting.

Missed the mark…read more Ordered orange beef with fried rice and pork lo mein The orange beef was soggy and way over sauced. That's probably what made it soggy. Some bites had tablespoon sized globs of thick sauce on them. Not good. Other bites had hardly any sauce. I expect my food tossed in sauce, not the sauce kind of thrown on top like its gravy. Fyi: fried rice means plain fried rice. It's just rice that is fried. No veggies or anything. So make sure to specify if you want veggies and egg. This is my mistake. The lo mein was a fairly tasty average lo mein with thick noodles. I probably won't order it again, but it was filling. Portions were pretty standard Chinese takeout portions. Prices were pretty standard as well. Overall, I'd say this is a pretty average Chinese takeout place that just needs to toss the food a bit more after adding sauce.
