Very good authentic food. Have had both chicken and beef dishes and have liked all of them. The fries dumplings are also quite good

Wow. When you live in a town where Panda Express gets 4-and-a-half stars, it makes you start…read morewondering about your neighbors. I can guarantee Oriental Garden has EARNED all of the praise and accolades it has received. We were thirsty for some quality Asian cuisine and finally wanted to try something new. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken and broccoli beef. The beef was the most tender I have ever had in this dish. It seemed like it had been marinating for days! Massive fresh, crisp broccoli paired well with a just-right brown sauce. Yum! Then there was the sweet and sour chicken. White meat chicken cut into just the right size. The chicken was moist and tender, and the breading was not overly sweet. As has been said here before, the portions are great. We ordered the large and had almost three servings from each dish. We may go down to the combo size next time. That was our delivery experience. I can only imagine how good Oriental Garden is as an eat-in experience. This place is a solid choice for Asian cuisine in Broken Arrow.

We ordered sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, lo mein, egg rolls, crab Rangoon, and pot stickers. The fried potstickers were served first. There are no fountain drinks here, so it's bottled beverages. The potstickers were actually good. The sesame chicken was hot, but the sauce was unlike any that I've ever had and that's not a good thing. The lo mein was below average at best. The crab Rangoon were good. The sweet and sour sauce tasted like it was a marmalade. The chicken was hot, but the sauce was not complimentary. The rice was bland and undercooked as there were hard pieces of uncooked rice. Our main complaint was with the cleanliness of the tables. Ours smelled like mildew and we watched one employee clean off another table in which she used an obvious dirty rag. The Health Department should be made aware of their lack of proper hygiene regarding the cleanliness of the table. They also only give you plastic, cheap forks to eat with. In a sit down eating establishment, metal utensils should be provided. We can definitely mark this one off of our list as we will not be returning.

Our server was extremely friendly and quickly brought us drinks. Since this was our first time it took us a while to look over the menu which was quite extensive. The entire back page of the menu was filled with lunch specials which are priced very reasonably at $7.99. We all ordered from the lunch menu. I ordered Chicken lo Mein anda cup of Hot & Sour soup. The other people in my party ordered Sesame Chicken and General Tso's Chicken. All three of us were extremely pleased with the service and the quality of the food. My hot and sour soup was extremely delicious. It was chock full of sliced mushrooms and several pieces of tofu and it was almost a meal in itself and was served very hot. My Chicken lo Mein was equally delicious. The others in my party praised their meals as well and all three of us felt that we had finally found an excellent Chinese restaurant. I look forward to my next visit.

For those that know traditional spicy shrimp, this was spot on! Dusting of breading to hold the salt and deep fried with the shell on, which most will eat. If prepared properly, the shell is crispy and edible, adding a great texture and umami to the dish. CG nailed it. It was SO good! Ambiance was average, but I didn't got there for ambiance

It's been ages since we have been to Chengdu. I don't know why because it's probably my favorite…read moreAsian restaurant. I like it because of its authenticity. You can get all the common dishes here but you can also get some unusual dishes that are very authentic. My grandson once ordered jelly fish. You can't get that at very many local restaurants. Another thing I like is that they have a couple of large round tables with lazy Susans. Our extended family sat at one of those tables once. It was fun putting the things we wanted to share on the lazy Susan and being able to spin it around and try what we wanted. It made for fun conversation talking about the different dishes. That was when our grandson ordered jellyfish. The restaurant is fairly small but the large tables make the restaurant good for groups. I think this would be an excellent place for a Yelp event. They have a lunch menu but you have to ask for it. It includes some of the popular Asian dishes for $9:95. They have smaller portions that come with a choice of soup or egg roll. Danny and I asked to see the lunch menu, but decided to order off the main menu. We split Crispy Tofu with garlic sauce and egg rolls. I liked the presentation of the egg rolls. They were cut diagonally and arranged nicely on the plate. The tofu dish was quite tasty. Next time, I plan to get Mei Fun. I have had it here before and loved the variety of flavors. The service wasn't terrible but it wasn't wonderful. We got our food in a timely manner, but we felt rushed to order and she didn't check to see if we needed anything or refill our water glasses. Service here has been excellent in the past. I am glad we came back to Chengdu and were reminded of how much we like it. We will be back soon.
