Excellent sushi all you can eat buffet. I like this due to their flavor, choices of food, service, and atmosphere. I am surprised the restaurant is not packed. We go for the dinner prices. It has more choices. The choice includes sushi and sashimi, soup, hand roll, chef specialty roll, salad appetizer, hibachi, ramen, katsu, dessert. I like the most is their Tonkutsu ramen, hibachi shrimp, new York rolls, Godzilla rolls, out of control roll, fancy rolls, Momiji roll. Overall they are the best in the Bay Area. First of all, this is probably the best AYCE Sushi restaurant I've been to between Pinellas-Hernando County. I've been to Saki (in CLW & PH), Koizi (Port Richey) and Umami (in St.Pete), and Momiji is by far the best out of them in my opinion. It was the busiest I've seen an AYCE Sushi place. I went at 7pm, they close at 9:30 & I only had to wait max 5 minutes for a table. Service was quick, responsive and very kind. The overall look of the restaurant was open, not claustrophobic, but also, you feel secluded (if you have a fear of people watching you eat). My rolls were delicious, my appetizers were delicious, 10/10. I live in New Port Richey, so it was a little over 40 minute drive to get here, but I think it was worth it if you're looking for AYCE. read more

Nestled back in the Winn Dixie shopping center on Mariner is this gem of a restaurant. I swear I've driven by it and never noticed it but visiting relatives found it and recommended it for lunch. Can't believe I'd missed it because the sushi was delicious! It's a two-page with a variety of dishes, everything from soup to dessert. The wait staff was prompt in seating us and getting our drink orders. Since it was lunch, we didn't choose alcohol though they had a nice variety of beers and sake. It was a very comfortable atmosphere. After taking our orders, it seemed l like the food just kept coming! The crab Rangoon and the salmon skin salad were great starters followed by the sushi dishes, Yummy roll and the Paint Lady roll. All of it topped off with fried Oreos. And the best part is the lunch is all you can eat for $19.95. They're open Monday thru Saturday. Looks like a favorite place to grab sushi or to take visiting family. Definitely worth it. read more

It's very clear to me now, that all the amazing Asian food places are around the Spring Hill area, as it's very close to the outskirts of Orlando.. I have written about this before, as Orlando has a growing Asian community. I'm not a big fan of Orlando, however, i'm a Yuge fan of Spring Hill now & it's fabulous Asian food places.. "China Town" next door is my favorite chinese take out place, "Okinawa" across the street is also one of my fave Japanese restaurants. So when we saw this new sushi place "Momiji sushi House" open up next door to "China Town" recently, we knew we had to try it next! OuiOui. So last night Sir Hubbers & I were craving a Super Duper sashimi night & we headed straight for the brand new "Momiji Sushi House!" WOZA! We are so glad we did! Just like Sushi Masa in Pirate'cola, it's a AYCE or "al la carte" Sushi restaurant. They also serve sake. We had both & will never regret it. LOL :),,, All the Sushi & sashimi we had was super fresh, presented very artistically & executed very professionally. The masago sashimi is served in a cute little Cucumber cup! Everyone needs to do it this way! Super creative, an ingenious idea. I'm adopting it. The best, user friendly way, I have ever seen it served. OuiOui. The Takoyaki here is also Amazeballs! Tried Momiji Sushi House with a group of four, and it completely exceeded expectations. For an all-you-can-eat sushi spot, the food quality, variety, and service were excellent -- we'll definitely be back. Food We ordered the all-you-can-eat sushi, which includes not just rolls but also ramen, appetizers, and sashimi. Standout rolls included the Painted Lady and Monster Roll -- both fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced. Other solid choices were the Sunshine, Dragon, and Out of Control rolls. We also had Chicken Teriyaki and Salmon Teriyaki (à la carte), both cooked perfectly with a good teriyaki glaze. The shrimp fried rice was the only miss -- dry and light on flavor. Tried the calamari appetizer too -- crispy with good seasoning, but the dipping sauce was a bit bland. Sushi came with fresh wasabi, ginger, and soy sauce. Leftovers were allowed if not excessive. Note: AYCE sharing isn't allowed -- if you do, you'll be charged à la carte. ‍ Service We were seated promptly, had waters and green tea within 5 minutes, and placed our first order in under 15. Staff checked in regularly to offer more rolls, drinks, and anything else we needed. Very friendly and efficient. Ambiance Quiet, comfortable, and air-conditioned just right. Only a few other tables were seated, and the room had a calm low murmur -- great for conversation. I honestly didn't expect to find sushi this good out in Spring Hill. We live in Tampa and were only in the area to visit an Asian market, so we randomly stumbled across Momiji Sushi--and I'm so glad we did. I'll be honest, I was a little hesitant at first because Spring Hill feels a bit out of the way, and I haven't found sushi in the Tampa area over the past five years that really impressed me. Everything usually tastes mediocre or not as fresh compared to what I'm used to coming from the West Coast (LA/Las Vegas), where sushi is just on another level. But this place completely surprised me. Everything tasted incredibly fresh--especially the salmon. The nigiri was so good, and even the fish eggs (which I love but usually avoid because they usually taste overly fishy or old- esp in AYCE spots) were actually delicious and fresh-tasting. On top of that, the staff was very kind and the restaurant was clean, which always makes a difference. We will 100% be making the drive back out here whenever we're craving sushi. We tried miso soup, seven different rolls, hibachi shrimp, calamari, Kasu fish, fish skin salad. They were delicious. The sushi rolls got their own characteristic with good flavor; the construction was flawless. For the sashimi selection -the fish were fresh and big and beautifully presented. The surf clam was so big, I like it. The sushi taco was interesting. The black garlic pork belly ramen tasted better than the one from normal ramen restaurant. We were in this place today for Father's Day ! The place wasn't that busy at all , waiting time for my food from the menu was over an hour , I ordered hibachi w shrimp, the got me w/ chicken !! We've found a new great sushi place in Spring Hill. This place popped up on one of the local site so thought we would give it a try. First off you can't go wrong with the dinner 28.95 all you can eat, a d the choices are MANY !!! We started out with a few apps the pan seared gyoza, crab rangoons then later on the shrimp tempura and chicken garage. All were good would pass on the tempura and karage next time. Other 2 were really good. Then we moved on to the nigiri which was really good had the smoked salmon, Tuna, BBQ eel and pepper tuna. All fresh and great taste. The sushi rolls def were the star, we tried the Yummy roll, monster roll, lucky Buddha all amazing. Very fresh fish and great sauces on top. My fav was the yummy and my wife loved the Lucky Buddah. Def next time want to try some of the hibachi or Ramen but you def can't go wrong with the all you can eat gives you the perfect opportunity to try little bit of everything. Service was top notch and very attentive. Desserts were very underwhelming the fried cheesecake was good but the batter was too thick and the ice cream were the cups of ice cram you got in grade school. They still have the sign up for Legend sushi which I guess was the previous name so that was a little confusing pulling into the lot. My experience was simply amazing. The restaurant itself is clean and comfortable with tasteful Japanese decor. All of the food that we ordered was delicious, from the appetizers to the sushi. My 85 year old friend rec'd the menu in the mail. She loves sushi so I told her we would go. We got there & found out it is all you can eat. This was on the backside of menu which we did not look at. Also if you can't finish your food they charge up to full price of the meal for ordering excessively. lunch is $18.95. I explained to the server that my friend does not eat much & could she buy ala cart. She said the $18.95 would still be cheaper. My friend order 3 items , which she could not finish. They were going to charge her $18.95 ! I said to the server I told you she was not a big eater & you allowed to order food that you knew she could not eat! We did not know portion sizes & you rely on a server to help with selections. I. the end they only charged her $10 for not eating all her food. I had Hibachi chicken, which tasted fishy, white rice & zucchini for $21.95. it was served on a luncheon plate. read more
