I've been coming here for over a year. I don't come often, however. Here's why. I order strictly online from their menu, which is easy to use. No complaints. However, the website then generates an estimated ready time. I've learned to wait twenty minutes past the estimated ready time before I leave my house to pick it up. Then it takes me fifteen minutes to get there. And every time I do that, there's still at least a 10-30 minute wait. I don't know if they need more cooks or what. The food is very good. No complaints, there, either. The prices seem high, but not so much that I haven't gone back. And the portions are generous. But that damn waiting is maddening. Either fix your website to add an extra 30 minutes or hire more cooks. You're too good of a restaurant to lose business because the food is ready over an hour after it's ordered. I can't imagine how frustrating it is for people eating in. Honestly, I've started shopping around for Chinese food at other restaurants that are way more inconvenient to get to in hopes that I get timely service. read more

Okay, to start I ordered like 730 & food was all fresh. I could hear them frying it when I came to pick it up.. I noticed some restaurants tend to warm their portions up in a microwave. It's a super cute vibe, plenty of booths on the inside to dine in. The woman was super sweet. Anyway, I tried salt & pepper pork chops, DELICIOUS. Perfectly seasoned, kinda reminded me of Chicharonnes. Then got Szechwan beef, delicious and has a sweeter flavor to it. BBQ pork fried rice was bomb. Also got their cheese & crab puffs which were considerably large compared to others for the price. Also got hot & sour soup which was packed with all kinds of veggies and tofu. So good! We were so happy that they reopen in Fairfield! We first had their food when they were in Vacaville- and when they closed, we vowed to follow them wherever they went! First, I love their Honey Walnut Prawns, Chow Mein, and Sesame Chicken. I have tried their version of Egg Foo Young and it is delicious! It is in a more crowded area, parking can be slim, I would go during the afternoon time anyway. Lots more seats inside, you can also order to go, very fast service. read more

Food was very tasty. My favorite was the wonton noodle soup. The noodles were chewy and broth was light and refreshing. Not overly salted or heavy. The mushrooms and seafood were perfectly cooked. The soybean was super tasty. My friend had the fried rice and tempura shrimp and she loved both. The prices were great. We had these 4 dishes plus a side of hot and soup for $60. Service was super fast and staff were friendly and accommodating. Oh the hot tea - green tea, was also crisp and refreshing. It was not super busy, which was surprising as the food was quite delicious. There were lots of to-go orders though. I am not a real big pea and carrot eater. I ordered the seafood fried rice. I got scallops, shrimp, and I don't know what the other white looking fish was. I also received a large amount of peas and carrots. I picked out the white stuff and the majority of the peas and carrots. For me, the dish was ruined. I also ordered Shezuan prawns. Why did I get broccoli as a filler under the shrimp in the sauce? Disappointed! These are the normal ingredients: Szechuan prawns typically include prawns, Szechuan peppercorns, garlic, ginger, chili oil, and a sauce made with soy sauce, vinegar, and sugar. I feel like we have found our new go to Chinese spot in Fairfield! We ordered chicken chow mein, salt and pepper pork chops, honey walnut prawns and Mongolian beef. Everything was outstandingly good! We based on how good everything was we certainly look forward to trying more things in the future. The ambiance isn't anything amazing but honestly a good Chinese place doesn't have to be. As long as the food is great and the place is clean I could care less about the ambience or how it's decorated. I saw someone post on Facebook that China Stix reopened in Fairfield and took my daughters immediately. There isn't really any good Chinese restaurants in Solano County and we loved the restaurant when it was in VV. The food is just as good as I remember. We were loyal patrons of China Stix Vacaville and were saddened when they closed that location. Found out just yesterday that they relocated to Fairfield and had to go right away! This new place is more spacious, over-all more comfortable-- definitely have more room for get-togethers. We truly missed their Honey Walnut Prawns, there is nothing like it... The batter is just perfect! We came around lunchtime on a Saturday. The service was fast, the food was fresh, cooked right, no complaints! The place is run by a family, they are accommodating and we are really happy that they are back in business! You know I was hesitant when I first came here for dinner. I saw the great reviews, but it was practically empty when I came and the service was a bit slow, but man the food was solid here. The place is clean and the waitress obviously is doing more than just waiting on people (it's a small business family run) and she was very kind to us. We ordered rice, war won ton soup, salt and pepper prawns, beef chow mein and sesame chicken. It was about a ten minute wait and then we got the soup. It was super hot and maybe slightly too salty for my taste but overall not bad. The main course is where this gets its points. The chow mein was delicious, the salt and pepper prawns were excellent (featuring some of the tastiest onions I've ever eaten) and the sesame chicken was great. With the chicken and prawns there wasn't an overbearing amount of batter on it. It was a great little find so close to where we live. I'll definitely be back to try more! read more

Even the wontons in our worwonton soup were better than your average. They tasted more homemade with fresh ingredients (really liked the wrapper on them). The veggie egg foo young was very tasty as well. They are quick so you don't have to wait too long for your food.
