Food is consistently good. They have pretty authentic Chinese dishes. Their spicy dishes can get pretty spicy, so if you can't handle the heat, best not to order any of their spicy dishes. Not many table to eat inside, I always just get takeout. Their portion size is good for the price. The lady that works the front can be a little friendlier and soften up her tone a little when she talks to you. She also sounds a little annoyed both in person and on the phone taking my order, so 1 star off for service, but food is a solid 5/5.

The place is small and quaint. The service was incredibly fast. Felt more like fast food with the time. The food was really good and fresh. My friends and all enjoyed our food. My friendd for the honey walnut shrimp. They were huge. She got a Thai tea and let me try . Very delicious. I cant recall the dish my friend got, but it was spicy with chicken and Zucchini. Yum!!! I got beef and broccoli and the beef was very tender. One of the best I've had.

Food is always amazing and delicious- quality ingredients and so fresh and tasty! Yen so friendly their staff is so attentive and quick on their feet. Really love this place as a go to for delicious Chinese food! Such an unassuming hole in the wall gem of a place! Must try must go!

Have to say this is my favorite chow mein place in the area now. Was super quick Tasted super fresh and the other review was right has a nice little crunch to each bite. I got mine spicy and she made sure they made it spicy. I also got the pop sticker and they were perfect. Nice and toasty and great tasting filling. I was super impressed. I will agree with another comment. The soy sauce or sauce was a little in the salty side but the food itself was perfectly seasoned.

(09-27-25) I had to come back and write another review after my first few visits. This was my third time trying this place. On my last visit, I fell in love with the salt and pepper chicken, still magical. Last time I was there, the lady working recommended the Chongqing-style deep fried chicken. Somehow, in my excitement, and maybe because I couldn't hear over the sound of my stomach growling, I misheard her and ended up ordering the Sichuan chicken instead. Let me tell you, this chicken was spicy, saucy, and packed with flavor. The kind of dish that makes you stare at your empty container wondering where your self control went. I also grabbed the salt and pepper chicken again because at this point they're basically non negotiable. Same deal as before, golden, crispy, seasoned just right, and addictive. If you haven't tried this spot yet, do yourself a favor and give it a try. Or even a few tries.

This is a hidden gem. Very small establishment, however they make up for it with hospitality. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The food had tons of flavor and the prices are reasonable. We ordered: family size combination chow mein, beef fried rice, orange chicken, walnut shrimp Shauzen chicken, bumplings & pot stickers. The pot stickers and bumplings were my daughter's favorite. I'm giving it 4 stars because its very hot in this restaurant, they didn't have then AC on, only fans. It was 102 outside and probably 85 inside. Not to mention, they had the place busy.

This is the third time I've ordered takeout from here. Very friendly staff, great food and portions are better than most places. I usually get the veggie fried rice, egg rolls, and sesame buns. They gave me a free gift this time too. Definitely my favorite spot right now The food is like a legit health potion.

Szechuan style Chinese restaurant in the middle of a strip mall, but don't let the decor fool you. Wonderful family owned restaurant serving great dishes with legit dried chili with a kick. Enjoyed their kung pao chicken that taste like kung pao chicken. Can't forget the portion sizes, it's huge enough to feed you for two dinners. Once again hidden in middle of Vacaville a legit great Chinese food.

We're back again for lunch and I now can say that I consider this Tasty Every Hour Chinese Food restaurant to be one of the best in Solano County! The service is excellent and the food is exceptional and very delicious. The portions are huge and not expensive at all. We ordered several additional items to take home for dinner tonight and probably tomorrow. They are located across the the DMV office in Vacaville CA. Plenty of parking. Come try the great food!

Rainy night, Christmas evening...supposedly a busy time for Chinese restaurants. They're actually open and doing great business, in case you were wondering. Stopped in to grab a pre-movie dinner and I had seen good reviews here. I also had seen an ad in Vacaville magazine which I got at Nugget across the highway. Let me say first that there isn't a lot of room for ordering in as there are maybe 4-5 tables tops. This is almost entirely to-go operation and from the sounds of the calls coming in, and the endless stream of drivers coming in to pick up orders, and even cancelling orders it's clear that this place does great business for such an unassuming space inside this small lot. I was informed that they were only serving a la carte, not the lunch or dinner specials that were on the menu. I didn't fight it though it wasn't too clear why I had to pay extra for steamed rice. But the dinner entree was indeed $13.99 for the kung pao chicken. And let me say it was the most outstanding, flavorful version I had had in a long time. Lots of chicken, lots of spice, ample veggies, tasty peanuts that didn't overpower. Also the portion size was impressive as I didn't finish. This will be a place to come back to often when I am in the area, especially for the lunch and dinner specials. Vacaville is lucky to have such a tasty place cooking well made dishes honestly and doing great business in the process.

Finding good Chinese food outside of the big cities of the North Bay is challenging. Fortunately there is a little fast casual spot in Vacaville called "Tasty Every Hour". The food is quite good especially if you like the lovely Sichuan pepper corn and it's mouth numbing properties. It's in these types of dishes that this place shines. Their fried chicken and rib dishes (see pictures) are ON FIRE (you can request the level of heat but I like em spicy). So good, fried to perfection with essence of cumin and those spicy chilies. I would recommend ordering a not so spicy dish, walnut shrimp perhaps, along with a spicy one. Their spicy wonton is probably the best version of this dish that I have ever had. The service is super friendly and they will guide you to the correct dishes to suit your taste. The only critique I would make is with respect to the General Tsao chicken. While tasty it would be so much better if it was made with dark meat chicken. The white meat is too dry for this dish. Perhaps a harmonious mix of white & dark meat? Next time I'm in Vacaville I will be getting something tasty, if you know what I mean.

Unexpected. Out on the fringes of Vacaville past the Home depot, the auto dealership, bordering the margin of the once modest Green Tree golf course sits this little gem in a scruffy strip. I heard distant murmurs of a real tasty chinese shop out in vacaville and decided to see for misself. We arrived to the tiny dining room, out on the edges of town as I had heard. Six or seven tables, clean, pedestrian, chinese phrases exchanged between the kitchen and the super-friendly hostess who greeted us. We sat and browsed the menu. Clearly has Sichuan spirit and tamed to an american familiarity. I had a serious jones for a combo chow mein and my wife often likes Beef Broccoli so thats what we did with an Orange Chicken just to get a variety. Impressive in my opinion. Chow mein noodles had fragrance that only comes from a well-seasoned wok with tender shrimp, beef and chicken. The noodles are a stand-out as they have a chew that I haven't experienced for a looong time. Love that chewy quality. The aromatics are well balanced and the veggies are crisp and add a textural crunch and the xiang liao, tiao wei (base aromatics and sauce) are generous. Generous? All our plates were HUGE. 2-3 days of leftover lunches at hand. The prices are way affordable for what is offered. The beef with the broccoli is velveted perfectly rendering the meat near melting on the palate. Again, the sauce is well balanced and plentiful. The Orange chicken was very good as what appeared to be a mix of thigh and breast meat was treated well. It can be a challenge to wok-fry chicken breast and these quaintly cubed nibbles are moist with the deep underlying fragrance of seared orange zest. We came out pleased we made the trip from Fairfield to explore. No beer-wine choices yet. Overall great stuff IMHO. Joe-Bob says spend a tasty hour.

It's in a small strip mall across the street from the high school and there was a variety of choices but small in quantity. So small, the person before me had ordered all the fried rice in his two entree plate. However, they were quick to refill the rice. The lady that worked there was very friendly. She gave my girls some cookies and even gave me an extra egg roll with my order. They didn't have the salt and pepper fish when I came but when I inquired, they were quick to deliver. I ordered the vegetable chow mien, sweet and sour pork, and the s&p fish along with the fried rolls and fried potatoes stickers. The s&p fish was very good. I liked them enough that if I ever wanted them again I could be sure to order them again. The s&s pork was a bit cold as well as the noodles but I attribute that to the cold drive home. Besides, nothing a microwave can't fix. I like the fried roll and my husband enjoyed them. My girls ate the fried pot stickers so I'd have to say we were all pleased with the meal. There is no dining area, a large parking lot, and the store was clean.

I ordered their Combo Plate- Meal C which is Fried Rice or Chowmein (or half and half) with 2 entrees. I did half and half with Hot and Spicy Chicken and Mongolian beef. They let me sample the food before ordering. Not to mention, they overstuffed the containers with food. This gave me 3 meals for just $11. On the side, I also ordered their Hot and Sour Soup and it was delicious. It's more on the sour side, but that's exactly how I like it. Hot and Spicy Chicken actually had a small kick to it. For the people who don't eat spicy food, I don't recommend ordering this as it will probably be too spicy. It had a ton of flavor and I would definitely order this again. Mongolian Beef has a ton of onions, per usual. It was packed full of flavor and the meat was very tender. Fried Rice and Chow Mein were both delicious. The fried rice had bbq pork in it which was a great addition. The chow mein noodles had a good texture to it. A little chewy but not too soft. I added sriracha to both and that just made it even more better. Overall, this is a cheap Chinese spot that's worth the money. They also offer party trays! Go show them some love!

The House Special Dinner comes with - Appetizers: Fried Prawns and Spring Rolls - Soup: Hot and Sour or Wonton - Entrees (for 3): Beef with Broccoli, Sweet and Sour Pork, King Pao Chicken - Steamed Rice and Fortune Cookies The food was just average as there is better Chinese food in Vacaville and surrounding areas.
