The service is excellent. Not too crowded for a Sunday afternoon. The Lettuce Wrap Chicken is the best.

Came in around 430pm on Sunday with family. We were quite a large group, table of 13 to be exact and we were seated quick. Not busy yet at 430 but right around 5ish people started to trickle in. Staff was friendly and playful. Everything was quick. They gave us waters, gave us enough time to order, and food came out fast. We were so hungry, I didn't get a chance to take pictures of the food. We order calamari, lemon sliced fish, walnut prawns, string beans with black bean sauce, house chow mein, HK style noodles, pork fried rice, beef with broccoli and steamed rice. Everything was delicious. The fried items came out crispy and not greasy. Everything had great flavor and serving size was good. No complaints here. We're always looking for a good mom & pop Chinese restaurant wherever we go and with good food and fair prices, this is one of them. Will definitely come back to this spot when in the area.

Good service. Lunch option includes soup, salad and rice. Decent portions and flavors were all there. I love the decor of the place, from the tables to the jade pieces. Great for small or larger groups. I rarely have chow fun because not many places make it good. But this place is the exception. Their beef chow fun was amazingly good. Definitely will be a returning customer.

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants, been coming here for years! Fast, great service with good vibes and a family feeling. This time we decided to try new dishes and they definitely didn't disappoint. The salt and pepper crab was really flavorful as was the green bean beef. Can't wait to try even more things next time.

Team Building Dinner Meeting w/ management. Boss is a regular here and why not when the food is super delicious! Crispy Chicken, Egg Rolls, Salt and Pepper Ribs, Hong Kong Style Noodle, S&P Tofu, Egg Plant, Chicken w/ Long Beans- every morsel was enjoyed. Full of flavor and appreciated by my dinner companions. The service is great and I love the Szechuan/cantonese/mandarin theme and taste of the cuisine and vibes. We wont be sleeping on Happy Garden anymore! xiè xie nǐ !!!

The portions are generous (you definitely get your money's worth), and everything tastes like it's made with care -- not rushed or greasy like a lot of takeout places. The orange chicken is crispy and saucy, the fried rice is packed with flavor, and their chow mein is always cooked just right. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming too. They remember regulars, work fast, and make you feel at home whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout. Service is quick without ever feeling chaotic. It's become my go-to for family dinners and low-key nights when I just want something consistently delicious. If you're in Fairfield and craving Chinese food, this place is a must-try. I ordered take out, one order of house fried rice, one order of orange chicken, and one order of sweet and sour pork. Everything was tasty and looked like it was made from scratch. Was it freshly prepared? Not likely. I was in and out the door in less than ten minutes. No way they could prepare this food that fast. Portions were big enough to serve 3-4 people no problem. The bill was a bit of a sticker shock, about $54 for everything. Would I go back? Probably not. Panda is about a mile from us and the two of us can eat there for $20-ish. This place is on the other side of town. And at Panda I can see the food items before I make a selection. Panda's food doesn't sit around very long under the heat lamps.

I've heard of Yi Ji Chang Fen but only tried it today. I've eaten so much dim sum in my lifetime, so my standard for dim sum may be higher. We came around 5PM on a Saturday and there wasn't anyone really there. It could be because dim sum feels more like a morning or lunch thing, or it could just be because we were there for a very early dinner. Between our party, we shared: - Marinated Chicken and Mushroom Rice Roll - Stuffed Sticky Rice in Lotus Leaf - Steamed Chicken Feet w/ Black Bean Sauce - Black Gold Egg Custard Buns - Chicken Feet with Herbs - Dry Style Beef Chow Fun And one Honey Lemon Tea for me. The honey lemon tea was a comfort for the cold day. Maybe a bit too much honey, but still good for the throat during the dry season. The chow fun came first and surprisingly it was not bad. There was a bit of 'wok hey' there and it stands out as one of the better dishes we had. As for the rice roll - I wanted to try something less conventional and I've never seen chicken in rice rolls, so I thought it would be interesting to try. It was quite disappointing though. Their rice roll was bigger than normal in width so with rice rolls being a struggle to pick up already, the bigger size made it an even bigger struggle. Everything just slipped out of the rice roll and it wasn't evenly wrapped. There were some bunched up layers on the edges. I think the chicken just didn't pair that well either and it was lacking in ingredients. Maybe the more conventional rice rolls would be better. For the two types of chicken feet, I normally like the one in herbal soup. If made well, the chicken feet has a nice flavor to it. For Yi Fen's herbal chicken feet, their portion was pretty good, but flavor was less prominent. I enjoyed the chicken feet in black bean sauce more because the flavor was better. Lastly, for the stuffed sticky rice and black gold egg custard buns, I suspect that these are not made in-house, but rather store-bought. The sticky rice lacked ingredients and the rice was a little harder than if made fresh. And the perfectly shaped black buns with a golden brush stroke on top (which I've seen all over the internet) seemed too elevated-looking compared to everything else. I'm not the biggest fan of molten lava buns, but they came out nicely. I didn't have any, but the molten lava custard was pretty runny. All in all, an okay experience. Service was a bit lacking. I don't recommend the dim sum dishes, but if I happen to want congee, I may give this place another go. Apart from the dim sum and rice rolls, the noodles I glimpsed from other customers looked not bad. I wonder if other locations are better.

Yang Kee Dumpling is located in a small strip mall, equipped with plenty of parking, and EV chargers. When arrived it wasn't too busy, and the hostess showed me to my table. In front of my table was where the staff was making dumplings (they were behind glass). After looking at the menu, I opted to get some traditional soup dumplings, bbq pork fried rice, and pineapple bao buns for dessert. My server was Bing and she was nice and efficient. She came back to check on me a few times throughout my dining experience. My fried rice came out first. It was a LARGE serving of fried rice, it of course had eggs, carrots, peas, and BBQ pork. It was flavorful. Next came out the soup dumplings. They were brought out in a steamer basket with a top to keep them warm. These were amazing. The light and delicate dough, mixed with the savory pork filling, and the salty broth was perfection. Next came out my pineapple bao buns. To be honest, I wasn't sure how I was going to like them. To my surprise these may have been the star of the show. The dough was light and sweet, the top was carmelized and sweet, and the custard inside reminded me of a Dole Whip from disney (exept it wasn't cold, it was warm). These were pretty large and I'm semi embarrassed to admint I had 2 3/4 bao buns myself. Go here. It's delicious.

I first heard about this place on social media when a few prominent food bloggers reviewed this spot and said their wings were the best wings outside of the legendary wing spot located in San Francisco. So I watched the videos and saw the pictures and I was truly excited to try them out. Well Mothers Day rolled around this year and I needed to bring an appetizer to my mothers party we were having that day in American Canyon & the idea of finally trying out their legendary dish was my entire focus. Driving down from Sacramento to get this dish wasn't the easiest of drives on a holiday but I was determined. I called my order in and as the saying goes, the worst the service the better the food-well I was pretty sure my food was going to be legendary based on that phone call. I ended up ordering both the Garlic Sauce Wings($15.95) and the Salt & Pepper Wings($15.95) This restaurant shares a decent sized parking lot with multiple tenants-so parking is not an issue. The neighborhood isn't the best part of Vallejo but I haven't had any issues yet with car security during my visits. When I arrived the restaurant was pretty busy but I noticed a worker had a full table that was full just for To-Go orders and I walked up to her and she handed me my receipt so I could go up to the cashier and pay. 5 minutes later I was in my car totally engrossed with the smell of this amazing chicken. I consider myself a true chicken wing expert and when I say these wings were pure flavor bliss-I truly mean it. The garlic sauce wings were a mix of sweet and savory and garlic with a slight spice-a wet wing experience that makes my mouth water just thinking back on. The salt and pepper wings were perfectly seasoned and a bite of that wing paired with the onion and Jalapeno toppings that come with the dish, can only be described as pure excellence. The chef truly has mastered the recipe and cooking technique on both of these dishes. Fun fact-due to various events in my life,I've had to drive to the Bay Area a few times since Mothers Day-I've been to this restaurant three times now in less than a week-I would say the love affair with this restaurant is burning quite hot at the moment.

To be fair, I've never had San Tung's wings before. Now I have to try to compare them. Family owned so if you come late, they're pretty backordered from dine in, but primarily takeout it seems. The sauce is soy sauce based - salty goodness. Wish there was actually some heat (there are chili peppers, but not spicy at all). Felt like it was more decorative since it didn't add any flavor... Onions are great, wish there were more as well. Rice is charged per person, so they just gave us a bowl - presumably you can refill? We also tried the honey walnut prawns, which were okay. Not a ton of shrimp but reasonably priced. Leaned more on the tangy mayo side than sweet, would probably try something different next time instead to accompany the wings.
