Lastly, we ordered the beef chow fun...beef was chewy...tasted like it was overly frozen before it was cooked. I asked my family member to stop eating the food for her safety as we started to feel sick from the small amount of food we had from our order. In short, I Paid $90 for the 4 of us to get bad food poisoning! Health department...please look into this place! Something about their food storing method and cooking method is not right!! Great restaurant! You can tell the owners work hard. My boyfriend and I dined in on a Sunday evening. It was the only Asian restaurant open and we were craving good Chinese food. The women (I'm assuming one of the owners) was handling all the tables, sitting people, waiting tables, proving customer service to the long line of people picking up food. You can tell they take pride in the food and ensuring customers get all their food. Pictured you will find the fried chicken quarters and the grilled pork chop plate. I couldn't decide what to eat! They had all the yummy popular Chinese dishes plus Vietnamese food! If we were staying longer, I'd eat here again. We are from California so I'm used to different types of food. I really want to like this place because it's locally owned, they have excellent service, and the restaurant is clean. Jean, who is frequently our server here is super efficient and sweet. But everything tastes like soy sauce; the Chicken Chow Mein, the Fried Rice, the Lo Mein, the Pad Thai. The Hot N Sour soup tastes like a tomato alphabet soup. I'll probably come back. The prices are good, especially for Whitefish. We came in 30 minutes prior closing, I get they were tired and unhappy. But the attitude of the hostess was so rude like we owed them money. I would walk out if not for my hungry kids. FYI - I view them as traditional Americanized Chinese food. I suppose if you're looking for something "authentic ", let's keep in mind you're in northwestern Montana. Unfortunately the rest of the food was horrible. I ordered orange chicken. I think the probability of me giving up on orange chicken is about the same as me giving up on a beer. It rarely happens... We were so surprised how much we liked it! Our normal Chinese restaurant was closed. I had the egg drop soup and vegetable soup. Both were delicious....could've used a tad more seasoning to egg drop. My hubby got a chicken dish and the hot and sour soup. The soup was yummy, had a slight sweetness and spiciness. The chicken dish was all white meat and not floating in a ton of sauce or oil! Tasty food, made by a local family, in Montana. It's not NYC, but for up here, this place is great!

Top notch covid regulations! There was more than six feet of distance in between each table. Masks were worn by everyone. Hand sanitizer stations were throughout the establishment. The food was pretty good. Not top notch, but not bad. My party of four had a few appetizers on top of our regular meal. We all thought the food was middle of the line. Our waitress seemed forgetful despite there not being much business going on and us being her only table. She forgot one plate of food and messed up two of our orders. The food was still okay. We were vacationing so we will probably never be back but if we lived there we might hit it again once or twice. read more
