My husband and I were craving some asian food while we were on a trip. We were staying in a hotel nearby and decided to try this place out. PROS: + Friendly staff. The waitress was working so hard and very efficient. + I thought my vermicelli noodles was tasty, and the chicken was flavorful. Because they were out of egg rolls, I opted for the veggie egg rolls. I thought they tasted like old oil, and it wasn't good. + There are some old school arcade games here. CONS: - They ran out of eggrolls, so we opted for the pot stickers. This was not that good and had very little flavor. - My husband got the pho, and it wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worst he's had. We were in town visiting the area for a family wedding. Of course, following the big event many folks were feeling a bit under the weather. We love a big bowl of Pho to help us feel better when not feeling 100%. Pho 888 was highly rated on Yelp so away we went. We were promptly seated along with several other tables. 2 servers were covering all of the table and the sudden influx of customers seemed a bit overwhelming to the servers. We waited a bit longer than typical to place our order, which included vegetarian egg rolls and 4 bowls of Pho. The egg rolls were hot and crisp and tasty. The Pho was served shortly afterwards and came with a nice assortment of condiments to personalize the flavor, heat, etc.. The basic broth, un-doctored, was clear, hot and well seasoned with the expected spices. Once the condiments were added to each of our own liking the eating began. You know when food is good when there is no longer any conversation happening at the table. Just lots of slurping of noodles and spoons of broth. I don't know if anyone finished their entire bowl but no one left unsatisfied. Please be aware these were the regular size portions however a large portion is also available. This place was very 'ok'. The red flag for me was that they didn't have any Sriracha (incl knockoffs given the name brand scarcity) in the restaurant - only sweet chili sauce. We came here twice in a week! The first time, we arrived at around 2.10pm on a Saturday and it was pretty packed, so the service was a little slow. However, the waitress was very nice and came to check on us a few times throughout my meal. Even though it says it closed at 2.30pm , they were still serving customers past that time.both times I ordered #8 pho, the broth was flavorful, loved the condiments and the sauces that came with it. Must try: Pho Dac Biet and Summer Rolls! Why: For me, this was a little taste of home during my vacation to Glacier National Park! The Summer Rolls comes with different meat options and I appreciate when restaurants have Pork and Shrimp! The Pho was great with flavorful broth and they were not shy on the beef. They also offered complementary Thai basil and sweet oyster sauce, which made a big flavor change into a soup. Vermicelli - 4 stars A little over cooked noodle, but pork egg rolls tasted good, especially with sweet fruity dipping sauce. You can also dip them into the sweet oyster sauce too! Fried rice - 5 stars Great pepper flavor and perfectly cooked shrimp. So refreshing and clear your pallets between other noodle dishes. This was my meal of the day in this place! I know we cannot come back here easily, so it's difficult to name other items we wanted to try. But thank you guys for staying open during this difficult COVID time. The two ladies at the front desk were very friendly. I ordered a cooked beef brisket pho. I have had this dish from several restaurants probably a hundred times and once homemade by a Vietnamese acquaintance. This was the worst excuse for pho I have ever eaten. I had to pay extra for a pathetic amount of beef and extra for vegetables... which were broccoli and zucchini and carrots which I have never ever had in pho and they did not compliment the soup whatsoever. The soup, not to mention, which was packaged together instead of the broth and then meat and noodles separately... so by the time I got to eat it the noodles were mush. The broth had little to no flavor and tasted basically like chicken stock. I had to add half of a tablespoon of salt to the dish to make it edible. This is a first, usually the broth is a briney rich sauce simmered for like 24h full of flavor and spice. Maybe they had run out of the good stuff... but that's highway robbery to charge almost $30 for something equivalent to Vietnamese cup o noodles (minus any sodium). The beef probably equated to about 3oz. Pho real though, if you go here, get a different dish... I highly doubt the authenticity of their recipe for their namesake. read more

Who would have thought that the second best pho I ever had would be in Kalispell, Montana? Not me! That's who! But I did. And it was good. I don't think I reviewed my prior #2, one of the many off strip Vegas Asian noodle places. While that place killed it as a dining experience, Pho 888 kills it on the broth. It is superb. The service was great, too, and the place is nice enough, but doesn't present as good as it is. I suppose we could call that a hidden gem, but the store could use some design help and curb appeal. New signage and such. But that broth. The egg rolls - which to me are actually spring rolls - were tasty, but lacked the lettuce wrap and cilantro, which is essential with Vietnamese spring rolls. On to the pho itself. Wife and ordered large bowls of the Pho Bo. My sister in law ordered some vegetarian version whose name I'll never need to know. The portions were enormous. In the Pho Bo, the meatballs were delicious and had a nice firmness and bounce. The brisket was great as well, but I thought there too many chopped scallions, which got in the way. The star here, if you were only skimming this review, is the broth. I would buy that by the cup, ala Brodo in NYC. It might be as good as that. It might have been a perfect broth. So go try Pho 888. Ok, but not coming back. The broth doesn't have the the traditional depth of flavor. It's very simple and required all the fixings to taste ok. To me, a really great Pho broth can stand on its own and only gets better when adding the accoutrements. Got the #1 which did have a very generous portion of flank, meatball, round, and brisket. The rice noodles are wider. I prefer thinner. There was an excellent Nuoc Mam Going with ginger, chili, garlic and fish sauce which made the pho much more tolerable. My friend got the Chicken Pho which had the same broth and she said the same...not much flavor. We also got the summer rolls. Very small and the peanut sauce was flat in flavor as well. My review for this place is heavily based on the pho. I travel across the states quite a bit and alway try the local pho spots. And on a chilly night like tonight I thought it would be a great idea. Needless to say, I ate my bowl because I was hungry and also because it was $15. But this was a failed attempt at recreating pho. Bowl comes with a decent amount of meat, and it's fresh. The noodles are not the usual rice noodles, they are something like traditional noodles wide noodles. But here's the kicker, both the noodles and broth taste like the pho bowls you can buy in bulk at Costco. It wasn't bad... but, it wasn't exactly $15 pho. Also, garnishes were all wilted. When I asked for fresh garnish I was told that this was fresh. Sever did bring out different plate of garnish, which looked a little better. Still wilted. On the plus side when I asked for extra green onions, I got extra green onions. Most places I have to ask twice. The interior is nice and the service was spot on. But if you're looking for authentic pho experience, this ain't it. read more

My wife and I love this place. We met working together in Southeast Asia. The food is great, and it reminds us so much of the street food we could get in Asia. The chile sate sauce they make in-house is so authentic. While this isn't a fine dining experience, the food is consistently good, the price is very reasonable, they get our food out fast every time, and we always feel that it was a great choice afterward. One thing I'd really like to mention is that the staff here really work hard. They hustle. They move fast. They serve hard. And they always have good attitudes.
