We were in the mood for a seafood boil and this was our choice based on previous reviews. Interior decor was very beach vibes and set the tone for the meal. Service was great and super attentive. We started with the hush puppies, which were good. Definitely not the best, but they were still good. They came with a side of ranch. Out came the seafood boil, we ordered two one of their standard boils and then I did a customer boil with crab legs and sausage. We both added boiled eggs to ours and went with the mild spice level and Mr. And Mrs. Crab seasoning. They bring out a bib, gloves and a discard bucket when you order the boils. Overall, I thought it was pretty good. Again, not the best I've had but it satisfied our craving. My girlfriend thought it was delicious and was making sure to soak everything up in the sauce, haha. One thing I noticed was the crab was lacking on some of the legs, not as meaty. Not sure what caused that. Also, there was a bit of a funky after taste with the boil that I haven't encounter before. I don't know if it was the seasoning or the sauce. Just my personal opinion and others might think differently. Also, wasn't really a fan of the potatoes or the egg. Just tasted off to me. This place was very cutely decorated inside. Very clean and I think it is a new place. Our server was very friendly and patient. We got the seafood boil for 2-3 people and added a 1/2lb of crab legs. This was plenty for me and my three children. I do recommend if you have someone in the party that can not handle spice do not spice. We did the mild and it was still pretty spicy. My youngest would not eat it due to the spice. He had the kids chicken nuggets and fries. The nuggets were very good and fresh. Came here after a day at the beach with my family. We were ready to eat! I liked how cool and spacious the space is. For three people, we got half a pound of sausage and 3 pounds of crawfish in their signature sauce. We asked our server for his spice recommendation and he said he liked spice so "hot" is as much as he'll go. We barely tasted any spicy in our "hot" boil so for Asian spice, I'd recommend "extra hot." The included potatoes and corn were a nice add. The corn was super sweet! The seasoning was extremely salty. Thank goodness some potatoes were added. Overall I usually love spice and garlic but the salt overload here was overpowering. We also got raw oysters of varying sizes and fried oysters which were a nice snack. The cajun fries barely had any spice on them and didn't taste Cajun, more like regular fries. For drinks we got the Shipwrecked. It separated pretty quickly though; wish it remained a smoothie longer. Our server was friendly and checked up on us often. They give out a big spice bottle for every $99 spent so we got two! All in all in terms of food I wouldn't come back as their boil left much to be desired but it was a decent experience! One note: There was water spilled on the floor with big puddle and I almost twisted my ankle + slipped and fell. It was left for a while before any sign was put--until I almost fell. We walked in around 1pm on a Saturday as a party of 5 and were seated immediately! The restaurant is really spacious with plenty of seating. Everything tasted really good here! The seafood boil is super flavorful - we got one cooked in the Mr. and Mrs. Crab house seasoning and a second in Garlic butter seasoning. Be careful when your food comes out because everything is piping hot! The service here is also worth mentioning. Our server, Dylan, had a super positive energy and checked up on us attentively. Chaz was the bartender and also took care of a few tables. He was attentive but not pushy. Checking every so often to make sure I was doing ok. Both while at the bar and at a table. It is primarily sea food so if that is not your thing you will want to look elsewhere. And it will be messy so either use the bib or don't wear good clothes. At least the Cabbage was fresh... I wanted to like it, but it failed miserably... from the clam chowder, which came out in small paper cups, as opposed to a real bowl. It should have been called creme of potatoe soup bc it merely had abt 5-6 shrapnel size pieces of clam, shameful. While it had a basic decent flavor, it was totally underwhelming! In addition, the fried oysters had shrapnel size oysters barely detectable in the thickly crusted batter. They use packets of Texas Pete as opposed to hot sauce bottles. Lastly, the bathroom smells like a festival outhouse, although clean the stench was unbearable to the nose with a hint of an ambiguous floral cleanser that I pray I can get out of my nasel hairs very soon. My wife ordered online and specified spicy sauce. We zipped over there from Sprouts grocery (it's in the same plaza) to pick up the meal. The Mr and Mrs Crab building is quite large and has a zillion doors, which are all closed except for the main entrance on the south west side. Well, we parked to the east so I had a nice walk around the building to pick up the order. Greeting me were these huge crab statues at the open main entrance. You can't miss them! It turned out my wonderful wife had mistyped our phone number and they don't make your food unless they can contact you. Whoops! But, the pleasant hostess told us, I pressed the wrong button and we made your food anyway. Bam! Our food came out 1 minute later! We also got some Cajun fries which at least were crispy! I really hate soggy fries. I think next time we'll specify extra Cajun seasoning since they were pretty safe. Now, back to the seafood... My wife got shrimp and lobster with corn on the cob and she really enjoyed it. You can't eat a bag full of seafood and a large amount of sauce in the car so she consumed it at home. It's really a messy process to partake of this style of food so be prepared and don't wear your favorite outfit. Perhaps wear a waterproof rain coat ;-) The verdict is in.
