There was only one person in front of me in line that ordered only coffee, but it took 10 minutes to finish ordering. There is a board to tell you when your order is ready, but it's kind of behind a wall so it's difficult to see. Anyway the dining area is nice, almost upscale with art on the walls. There are high chairs for the kids and wheelchair accessible tables. I had an Italian Sandwich which came with a cup of soup for a dollar. I am obsessed the warm Italian sandwich on their fresh in-house-made, chewy bread. The sandwich is huge and shareable. The creamy Broccoli Cheddar soup is tasty and warmed my bones on a cold day. Panera food is consistently good. This Panera is close to US 65 exit. There is plenty of parking. The restrooms are clean.

The primary issue was our service. While she was friendly, decent windows of time seemed to pass between her visits. She also did not provide us with utensils/napkins, as my wife requested them from the bar after our meals arrived, nor plates for our shared appetizer items. The food was very good, for the most part, as we continue to enjoy their Baked White Bean Hummus ($14) and the Greek Goddess Salad ($17) is excellent. I also do like their Fries ($3.50), as they are seasoned well with a nice exterior crunch, although it seemed like we had been given the bottom of the basket as a good bit of our order was crumbs. Drinks were OK. My wife wishes they offered a dry cider option, but their A&E Fleeting Youth ($7) consistently tends to be the closest to that offering. While I realize it's summer, I prefer porters and stouts that are on the sweeter side as opposed to coffee-esque. But the only option was their Into the Void, which I thought leaned into a coffee flavor, so I chose their King of Troy ($6.50), which was a decent lager. So I continue at 4 stars, in hopes our next visit will have service with a bit more awareness, fries from the top of the basket, and some of their other beer options that hit the spot in the past.

I was the only person at the counter, and there was one person sitting at a table. There were three employees behind the counter. My order was simple, just a sandwich and side of mac & cheese. I sat down at the nearest table and waited. And waited. And waited. Finally I went back to the counter, thinking maybe my order hadn't been sent to the kitchen. I approached the same employee who had taken my order, and she asked if I had ordered. I said yes, and she looked confused. I reminded her of what I had ordered. She talked to another employee who looked around and found my order sitting with a couple of other orders. He did apologize for letting it sit there and said they should have called out my name. My sandwich was good but not hot like it would have been if it hadn't been left sitting.

The clerk who took my order was friendly and accommodating. The food was to my table so fast, I hardly had time to get my drink. The Kicken' Crab Chowder was surprisingly flavorful with the distinct taste of crab and a hint of spicy heat. The soup was thick and hearty with bits of veggies. All in all, I liked the soup, but it was a bit salty. Also, the bowl that they advertise is larger and more enticing than the paper cup than what I received. There's plenty of parking in their shared lot.

From the moment we checked in with the host stand we were impressed! We were quickly seated and greeted. Jonaz was our server and he was incredible- he made so many recommendations for us, pointed out what's popular, what he loves and explained more about the flavors working together on the menu than would meet the eye! We also got to see Pascal, one of the managers while we were there! If you frequented Patachou in Clay Terrace...you know Pascal! We enjoyed an incredible cheese board to start our meal! Fantastic drinks- as someone who is currently pregnant I LOVED that they had mocktails that were not super sweet, that seems to be tough for a lot of places to get on the menu! We also started with the Yeast Rolls which sound so simple but were incredible. Moving on we had the Harvest Salad- I had never had pickled rhubarb and it was such a great addition. The black tea vinaigrette was amazing, fresh and light- the team in the back of the house knows what they are doing and is putting the work in on creating a perfectly curated menu with flavors that WORK! For entrees I had the Foraged Mushroom Bucatini with salmon added and my husband had the New York Strip. It's been a minute since we've been somewhere that's served a perfectly cooked steak on the first shot and this was edge to edge perfectly medium rare for him. We shared a side of the Spring Green vegetables- I'll dream about them, they were amazing. Jonaz helped my husband pick out a glass of wine to compliment his entree and knocked it out of the park. Now I'm telling you- you're going to want to eat all your food but you have to save room for dessert! How can you come and not try any ice cream?! We had the strawberry ice cream to split and it was a great end to our meal. I will say as we were leaving we saw a server walk by with a Toffee Crumble Sundae (I think that's the name) and let's just say that next time...we'll be trying that! We will 100% be back!
