China Wok is a small Chinese food restaurant that mainly offers takeaway and delivery. There are about four tables in the dining area, so there is an option to dine in, but I would recommend taking your food to go. The floor of the dining area did not look like it had been cleaned in a while, and the restroom was out of order. People mainly use the dining room chairs to wait for their takeout order to be ready. The food is very tasty - nothing exceptional, just your standard Chinese takeout staples. I ordered sesame chicken with fried rice, egg drop soup, and two spring rolls. They also included an extra egg roll with my order, along with soy sauce, duck sauce, and mustard. The food was hot and packaged well - it took 15 minutes for me to drive home, and it was still hot when I arrived. Everything tasted great. Ordering on their website was easy and straightforward. There is plenty of parking in the shopping center. Overall a decent place if you're craving Chinese, but I did have some concerns about the cleanliness of the restaurant. read more

Pork egg roll was HORRIBLE. Something had to be spoiled. Place was clean. Lady had a slight attitude when I asked her for utensils. Rice & shrimp and broccoli was good for the price though. read more

Just nasty, the chicken was so thin it looked like it was sliced thick at the Food Lion next door. They were running behind on orders and people were complaining, When I got it home and opened the container, the smell was as if the chicken was bad, couldn't eat it. Thinking about taking it back tomorrow just to see if they can identify that smell. read more

Came here for lunch,, placed my order sat down to wait my coworkers and I didn't hear no pots moving or any cooking. So we started to get impatient when this man who looked like he woke up from a nap came in speed walking put some hand sanitizer and started to cook our food.. i asked how much longer is was going to take and she told me 5 mins it was indeed 5 but when we started to eat it, the shrimp was still raw and the shrimp had black residue on them, not sure from old oil in pot. But we didn't finish it. 20 mins later we all had to use the bathroom do not recommend. Not to mention the place was dirty dust all over the crown molding and dust on the chairs and dirty tables . read more

Stay away from this establishment! Since it has come under new ownership, it is terrible. It is family run, with their 12 year old girl and 8 year old son at the register, and the mother cooking in the back. The service is sloooooooooow and the food not that tasty as the previous owner. I gave them a couple tries but it's alway the same; TERRIBLE. Do yourself a favor and find a different place for Chinese food. Prior to this new ownership, this place was decent, but now I have to give it 2 thumbs down. :( They are a nice family, but horrendous business people and lousy cooks. read more

Good prices, getting the large quantities gives you lots of leftovers for just a few $ more. Had several different items from here and they were all good, never had a problem picking up. They have a good procedure during Covid with sitting your food on the table when you are outside. read more

Of all the Chinese restaurants we've tried - we always come back to China Wok. Fast friendly service and the food is always spot on.

The place is certainly not beautiful on the inside, but the staff is friendly and quick, the prices are extremely reasonable and the food was good. I like it that they give you 8 dumplings in an order and the sauce was good. They also had some dishes, like Singapore Mai Fun that you don't see everywhere, and the portion was huge. I think this is my go to chinese carryout. read more

I have gotten delivery from here. They are very fast and the food was good. It was a good price also. I would recommend this place.

Very small portions of low average Chinese food at a high/medium-high price. Staff is rude and went out of their way to be rude and uncomfortable. I will take my business elsewhere in the future and would recommend you do the same. read more

Best Chinese takeout in Richmond area... fast and always fresh, hot and yummy!

I always go here and drive the extra few miles. This place is always quick with getting your food to you and always tastes great!

Do not come here!! Have kids taking orders that are rude. Asked what the difference was in sizes since they have same item on menu at different prices could not get clear answer. They make you feel that you are bothering them. Immediately after taking my order they ask if I ordered my order. ???? Having a kid sitting in lobby are reading book walking back and forth answering phones and taking orders and touching food containers and food without washing hands. Also goes to bathroom comes out without washing hands. Ordered general tso's chicken it was all chicken with 5 peices of tiny broccoli. Was not even remotely spicy. Not much flavor either. Could have gotten better at golden corral. Will not be back. read more

Hands down the best Chinese takeout joint around. I have tried countless Chinese places in richmond and this one still holds the crown for quality of food and service. Been coming here since 2010. The beef fried rice is moist and absolutely amazing with extra onions. Most Chinese places serve overly cooked rice thats hard and unenjoyable. General tso's is good and has a nice crunch and spice to it. It's not just sogged out sweet and sour chicken like most places I've had. All in all just a great place to eat. read more

The food my sister ordered from here was nasty. We were not pleased and didn't bother to complain to management because we won't be going back. The Egg Foo Young was fried hard, the rice was dry, the gravy was dark and tasteless, the Cashew Chicken had whole pieces of vegetables and the chicken was stringy. The egg rolls with the combo plates were dry, fried hard and stale. This was a delivery service. read more
