Well unfortunately this has become one of a number of Chinese restaurants that I have experienced lately that has just become a really bad place to support. Service here is absolutely HORRIBLE! I ordered four dishes and I informed the lady that I was about thirty minutes away. This was during the week at a non-busy time. I get to the restaurant and my food is not ready. In fact it's not really clear if they've even started my food. I finally get my food one hour and four minutes after ordering it and the order is not correct! They forgot some of the food and I had to wait for the missing food to be prepared! Good thing I checked my order before leaving. Definitely a place that is seriously downgraded for me. After waiting for what seemed like 10 minutes, we received our food and after opening the bag were greeted with many aromas. I decided to give this place a try because my usual restaurant is closed on Monday's. Boy, was I disappointed! I ordered the beef and broccoli and Kung pao shrimp lunch special. While the lunch specials are reasonably priced, they lack flavor. The beef and broccoli was bland. The Kung pao shrimp was very different. When I've ordered from other restaurants it's served with onions and peppers. This one had a bunch of other vegetables instead; celery, baby corn, cucumber, carrot, and even some kind of bean. Needless to say, that wasn't eaten. The staff was very friendly. That's a plus! The inside was basic, clean, but hot. No air flowing. Next time I'll be more patient and wait for what I KNOW is good! read more

Placed an order on Christmas Day and expected a bit of a wait, but it was ready within 25 minutes of placing the order! Everything was hot and ready to go. I got the beef with garlic sauce and it's very good! The white rice is nice and fluffy and not dry. The cream cheese rangoons have a nice crunch and has the perfect ratio of filling. I ordered through door dash for lunch here and it was my first time trying this restaurant. The prices were very reasonable given that the fees on door dash are quite substantial for businesses. I ended up ordering the pad Thai, fried scallops, Chinese donuts, and a large sweet tea. Everything arrived well packaged and warm. Delivery was speedy and based on tracking, the restaurant got to work fairly quickly. The portions were a very decent size for the prices. The pad Thai was listed as spicy but I didn't feel it was spicy. The scallops were super moist and delicious, though I do feel they could have used some cocktail sauce. The donuts were a little overcooked in that they were definitely dark and had more of a crunch than normal but they still tasted delicious. And that tea! This tea was HUGE! OMG it was amazing seeing a fountain drink arrive that wasn't tiny. I didn't go to the restaurant so I can't speak on the atmosphere, but based on this experience I'd definitely give them another go. read more

This spot is more of what I'd consider to be your traditional (think pint size/quart size) type of Chinese restaurant. It's more of a take out spot, although they have tables to dine-in. I personally wouldn't, mainly because it could stand a reno and better ventilation (don't want to have food odor in my clothes after walking in). Anyway, they have great lunch specials, like under $6 for an entree and egg roll or soup. The portion size was large-probably too much for lunch, but you definitely get your $ worth. I had the lunch shrimp lo mein, which came with choice of white or fried rice. I thought it was strange when I was calling in my order for them to ask what type of rice, forcing me to ask didn't it come with lo mein noodles. Just a little carb overload I guess but all good. The food tasted good and I would return for lunch when in the mood for Chinese food while in the area. read more

The food is always great when I go there. I make it a point to eat here at least twice when I visit. Sometimes I get the food to go but I really enjoy eating it there while it's hot and fresh. 15 years later it still tastes just as good as it did on day one which is more than I can say for many places. It's Friday night so takeout it is! Based on Yelp reviews we gave this place a shot. It's in the same plaza as Food Lion and a great italian restaurant we've been to so easy to find. I can relate to other comments about not being acknowledged when I walked in, but I give a little slack because they seemed busy. Got home and the food was decent when I tasted it, definitely something I can grab when I don't feel like cooking. Prices were good too, we spent $21 for everything which is pretty cheap these days. Inside looks like your traditional chinese spot which I like, makes me feel like I am getting legit chinese, not some fancy version. My world was not rocked, but it hit the spot. read more

After recently moving to VA we have been searching for a new "go to" Chinese food takeout spot. Unfortunately we're still searching. We were in the mood for general's chicken and decided to place a pick up order from beyond menu online. The business does not take credit cards online, so they start the order once you arrive and pay. We ordered 7 lunch meals, they each come with rice and your choice of soup, egg roll or a can of soda for 5.59!! I was not sure what to expect because it was so affordable, but I was VERY pleased. The food was so fresh, it all tasted delicious and was made just like I asked. The cashier gave us a free 2 liter at pick up because they had to ask questions about our order a couple times. I have a happy family and all those meals only cost 39.00 before taxes!!! I could not go buy all the ingredients I would need to make these meal for that price! Great value, if you happen to be in the area it's worth a drop in to pick up a quick lunch.
