Ordered food for New Year's Eve and the order was fresh & hot. They got the order right and made our ringing in the new year perfect. My only call out is they need better duck sauce. I recently visited China Wok, and I have to say, I was very please with their covid-19 precautions. Their dine-in area is closed, so the restaurant advises you to call in your order unless you don't mind waiting outside for a few minutes. When you call in, they'll give you an order number so when you come to pick it up, just let them know your order number and they can check on it. When you get to the restaurant, there is a table set up with menus, utensils, and sauces to grab. They also have a little doorbell on the side of the door so if someone doesn't notice you right away, you can get their attention easier. I noticed there weren't many reviews for Chinese take out spots in the area so I decided to pop on and give a thorough review of our experience. The food was good for the price. The service was great as well. They were very friendly and no wait! They even have homemade mustard and duck sauce- yum! My family ordered a couple dishes and ate family style. Here's what we came up with. Chicken and steak hibachi combo: you can choose noodles or rice for the base and it comes with a side salad and hibachi white sauce. This was my personal favorite! The steak and chicken was delicious. Pork Chow Fun: this noodle dish was equally great! The noodles were a light alternative to the other saucy options we chose. We all liked that there was only minimal sauce but the dish still a lot of flavor. The chow fun had all of us going back for seconds! Orange chicken and General Tso Chicken: We all agreed they tasted pretty similar. Good eats for the price, can't complain. Wonton Soup: Good Hot and Sour Soup: Okay. (Disclaimer- my family is on a mission to find a hot and sour soup that beats our childhood spot so we might be tough judges!) This is yet another hit or miss Central Florida Chinese joint. The reviews on Yelp and Google for this restaurant are outstanding. We excitedly gave it a try, and the food was pretty darn good. This led us to return not that many days later, but unfortunately we ran into the same problem we always run into. We ended up with dry, tough, difficult to chew chicken. I don't understand how this continues to happen over and over again at every Lake County Chinese place we try. Horrible. I've ordered delivery (though Beyond Menu) from this place a few times now. Delivery usually takes quite a while but food is good. Got delivery 2 weeks ago from this place. Order for delivery today and turns out the restaurant cancelled the order and told Beyond Menu that it was too far from my home. 3 miles away! That is a lie. They probably just didn't have enough people working today or too slammed. That's NO excuse for just cancelling an order with no phone call to me to let me know. I found out it was cancelled right before my estimated delivery time because I just happened to check my email. Will never get food here again! And to add to it, my card was charged the $42.89 and I have to wait 3-5 business days for that money to go back to my account. Absolutely ridiculous read more

I called my order in 25 mins in advance. On top of that. I drive 25 mins to pick the junk. So when I called the man answered. I know he is a great cook. If the lady answers,don't do it!!!! Several times she undercooked or over cooked my food. Well I get there. She is doin laps around the parking lot. I see her walk in and grossed me out,she didn't wash her hands and GRABBED THE CHICKEN,from the bowl,bare handed!!! So i tried to pick up my order and well....it wasn't ready. New face,took my order,yet again and I had to wait. I'm brewing. So I tell my husband I want a refund but he is so hungry,he just told me to chill! So I waited and I knew to check the food before I left but I'm so mad and it's hot outside. I just wanted to leave. I come home and if I don't damn myself. The fkn chicken is undercooked. That's the last time I show my face in there. Cross contamination,undercooked,and disgusting shit!! Like I said,the man is a great cook but the woman needs to leave it to the professional. Giving it 2 stars because I HAD been a regular customer until today. The woman who works there is rude and racist. I had felt that she addressed White patrons better than me in the past but chalked it up to she probably knew them. However, placed my order online this evening (as I ALWAYS do). Walked in to pick it up and she informed me that she gave my order to someone who came in before me. Never apologized. I said no worries, how long will it take you to make mine now? She proceeds to start screaming at me about the fact I asked how long and said (from what I can understand) that she doesn't want me in there asking how long. I stayed quiet since she was going to now be cooking my meal. Once it was ready, I addressed the fact that it was not my fault that SHE gave away my order and she had no right yelling at me. She looked at me like "I" was crazy. I then added some words to let her know what I thought of her and walked out - for the final time. Egg rolls were soggy, the fried dumpling wrappers literally would fall off when you picked them up, the sesame chicken coating was "gummy", and we waited 20 minutes past the "ready" time, which was already 30 minutes.
