Food delicious, service quick, a little pricy but that's all the fees involved. Highly recommend

I've eaten at Ottoyee for months now, and each experience has been incredibly delicious. However, the only thing is that the wait time can run very long. Not for the food to arrive, but for placing the order. We tried to get the attention of the waiter on staff multiple times, but was either ignored or they were behind the screen attending to something else. The wait time was around 15-20 minutes, but this is likely attributed to the small staff. Otherwise though, they were incredibly kind and knowledgeable of the menu and we still had a delicious experience as usual.

Upon entertaining on a weekend evening, there were a few tables with patrons but not too busy. The restaurant did seem a bit understaffed with only one person taking orders / bringing food out, making it difficult to flag down this one person to successfully take our order and ask for anything additional throughout the night. Gyudon: for the price, we were really surprised at how small of a portion this was. It was not only in a small bowl, but the meat was layered on top perfectly deceiving you to think that there was more than there actually was. The majority of this dish was rice, and with limited sauce at that. As displayed on the menu images it was to be served with a runny egg, but unfortunately we got a fully cooked one (disappointing, as we were looking for something to mix with the rice!) Sushi: We got a 3 rolls and they were just alright. They were pretty small in size, with less rice than I'm used to (which is something I do like - I would rather more fish than rice!) With us getting spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and spicy scallop - they all kind of tasted the same, so I wish the fish wasn't as heavily masked with spicy mayo. Ramen: I got the black garlic ramen, and it wasn't the best, but wasn't the worst. I've purchased fresh ramen packages in the supermarket before and it tasted just like that, so it made me disappointed knowing I could achieve the same at home. The soup itself was extremely rich and fatty, and the charsiu had no flavor whatsoever leaving much to be desired. The main reason I'm rating this so low is upon having my last bites of sushi, I could tell something was off. I don't recall which specifically I had but I made a statement that it was extremely fishy and off putting. Fast forward later that night, I was hunched over the toilet vomiting with stomach pain - and I can deduct that the sushi was the culprit. I might consider trying Ottoyee again due to the great deals they have listed on food delivery apps, but the sushi quality (quite literally) put a bad taste in my mouth.

The initial customer service was warm and welcoming, and we were seated promptly. However, once our food arrived, it felt like the service tapered off. No one checked in on us throughout the meal to see if we needed anything or if everything was to our liking. A few table touches would have made the dining experience feel much more attentive. For appetizers, we ordered the shrimp and pork spring rolls. They were fresh and delicious, though I do think the portion size could be a bit larger for the $6.95 price. For our entrees, we both ordered the oxtail pho. It looked very appetizing when it arrived. I always like to take a sip of the broth before adding any condiments so I can appreciate its natural flavor. Unfortunately, the broth was very bland and lacked the rich, aromatic depth I expect from a good pho. It was disappointing because the presentation was excellent, but the broth ultimately fell short of expectations. Overall, the experience had a strong start with friendly service and prompt food delivery, but the lack of follow-up service and the underwhelming broth left me disappointed. With a more flavorful broth and more attentive service throughout the meal, this could be a much better dining experience.

My sister and I do not mind having some Indian cuisine every so often and this one is close to home so we thought why not give it a try. We came here on a Sunday evening around 6:00pm. The restaurant was empty and for some people an empty restaurant can be a bad sign but for us it turned out to be a good sign. We were greeted when we walked in and seated right away. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and attentive which I love because I love a restaurant that is welcoming. For an appetizer my sister and I shared the goat samosa which was served with tomato chutney. I enjoyed the goat samosa, but I wasn't the biggest fan of the tomato chutney. As for my entree I wanted to try something different because butter chicken is always my go to when it comes to Indian cuisine. For my entree I got the Nepali Festive Thali(veg) which was a platter of rice, lentils, vegetable curry, mustard green leaves, black-eyed pea beans curry, pickles, chutneys, pappad, and it also came with gulab jamun with yogurt. We also ordered a side of garlic naan. I thought this entree was okay and I enjoyed the vegetable curry with the rice and the gulab jamun the most. Overall I will definitely be back. I'm glad I finally got to try this local Indian restaurant in my area.

We both agreed the portion was generous and worth every penny. The only thing I would say is that I'd want a little more seasoning. Other than that 8.5/10. The garlic naan was a 7.5/10 cause it could've used a little more garlic, but that being said it was still yummy. Overall., moksha was a great spot to check out to satisfy my Indian cravings. I will definitely be returning.

Unfortunately, the food spoiled within 3-4 hours. When I called the restaurant, they explained it may have been because I was the first customer and the food was packed hot, combined with the heat outside. To their credit, they did replace the meal with another Family Pack, which was acceptable. Later that same week, we had guests over and placed a to-go order: Boneless Chicken Biryani, Goat Fry Piece Biryani, and Chicken Fried Rice. I specifically requested everything mild, but all the dishes were overly spicy. The biggest disappointment was the Chicken Fried Rice. It tasted like a mix of dry red chili paste and rice, with bits of egg and chicken, lacking any real flavor or balance. Given these back-to-back experiences, I've decided not to return. It's unfortunate, as we had higher expectations based on earlier visits.

We had the tandoori momos, papdi chaat, and paneer tacos for appetizers. The tandoori momos were simple on the inside - just paneer, but the tandoori coating was highly flavorful! The papdi chaat hit the spot on a hot day - you know they're doing it right when the potato to papdi ratio is just perfect. Our favorite was the tacos - the paneer was packed with flavor. It was one of those apps where you take one bite and you're just amazed - crunchy, soft, zesty perfection. For entree we shared the paneer tikka baked in the clay oven. This came hot in a sizzler with onions, green peppers on a bed of charred cabbage (who knew but - woah!). We paired this with some cilantro and tamarind chutney and butter naan - absolutely delightful. The kids also had a cheesy naan with fries (kids meal) which they enjoyed! Lastly, for dessert we had to try one of their unique sweet treats and opt for the date wontons with ice cream. It was a cool concept but not something I'd get again. There are many other desserts on the menu that look great though! Cherry on top of the appetizing food was the kind service. With 3 little ones, I'm always stressed going out to eat at these types of restaurants, but they were very accommodating and welcoming of my family... made my experience that much better. Will definitely be back!
