Hours are wrong. No one answers the phone on Sunday. Flyer is wrong as well. Can't try.

Friends have been telling me about this place who are from Costa Rica, I'm just never in Bound…read moreBrook. Today was the day however! The restaurant was laid out with tables to the right & left, a coffee/juice bar and a bakery section in the back. Since my Spanish is nil, I believe who was one of the owners helped us choose our meal. Peruvian Beef Stir fry with rice and fries & Pueblo Style fillet of fish (tilapia) I had plantains & black beans as sides. Both were portions for two people & absolutely delicious. I had a tamarind drink and my friend had a Batido Mango (made with milk) The staff were all sweet and helpful. We got to-go bags. The prices were very reasonable for what we got. After we paid the check we were given caramelo flan ~ we said we would never finish it - well we did! Pretty much licked the plate. Can't wait to go back! And since I watch Celtic, premier, euro soccer, have found a new place that opens early! Soccer was playing on the screens while there! Another plus. Definitely check this place out, they have traditional Costa Rican, Peruvian and Salvadoran dishes - just to name a few!!!

Besides the classics fried seafood and hot dogs, they're also doing chicken wings, cheesesteaks, pastrami sandwiches, even a half-chicken with fries. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The foot-long delivers and the regular dogs are fine, if not a little salty. The chicken wings are great, but I always get them naked and then dip in sweet chili, sriracha,Nashville hot, bbq, or another half-dozen sauces. I had the half chicken there and enjoyed it. My mother was happy to find a place still doing fish and chips around here, and we got it several times. The fries are crinkle cut, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and kind of addictive. The whitefish fried filet is not bad, but the fried shrimp steal the show. Those are crunchy and also a bit addictive. Hard to eat just a few. I would go back there just for the fried shrimp. The hush puppies are the lowest point: too dense and dry. They also do burgers there but I haven't tried those yet. Overall, good experience there, the chicken dishes are the standouts.

The restaurant was clean and stylish and the burger was 'beyond' excellent! We really enjoyed our meal and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants the authentic Nathan's experience. Having grown up with Nathan's from Coney Island to Manhattan I can say the tradition still stands in the 21st century. Peace

My usual…read morego-to spots didn't open until then, so I decided to try Tasty Kitchen since it was nearby and already open. I placed a fairly large order for our party of six to make sure there was something for everyone: Alaskan Roll Chicken Lo Mein Chicken with Cashew Nuts Cucumber Roll Edamame Miso Soup Sashimi Regular Sautéed Mixed Vegetables Scallion Pancake Seaweed Salad Spicy Trio Roll Spring Rolls Sushi Regular Sushi Rice Tuna Avocado Roll Vegetable Fried Rice White Rice The positives: * Order was ready on time. * Hot dishes were served hot. * The scallion pancakes were very tasty. * The Chicken with Cashew Nuts was flavorful, although a bit heavy. * The miso soup was good. * The edamame was fresh and well prepared. * The cucumber roll and tuna avocado roll were standard fare but decent. The negatives: * No one in our group liked the mixed vegetables or the lo mein. Both were in a heavy sauce. * Fried rice was also heavy * The spring rolls were greasy. * The Spicy Trio Roll was disappointing. It was essentially a basic roll topped with a simple spicy sauce and reminded us more of grocery store sushi than restaurant-quality sushi. * The sushi and sashimi were also underwhelming and had that same grocery store quality. Bottom line: If you're looking for a quick, convenient meal and need food ready on time, Tasty Kitchen gets the job done. However, based on this visit, I would only return if my preferred Asian food restaurants weren't available.
