Anyways ----- Very impressive- Very fresh, made to order... Piping hot even after arrivin g back home.. Soups hot and sour, wonton had plenty to it, not just broth. Spring rolls, there were 8 for 2 people - so good we were fighting over them. My Moo Shu Pork was excellent- and came with 6 pancake wraps - which was perfect. Chicken with vegetables was tasty. Great food the general chicken is fantastic a fair price and a lot of food. Enrolls used to be very good but the last few times they are very greasy I mean dripping with grease, take a bite and grease runs down your arm. THE BEST Mongolian Beef, which actually has BEEF in it (and NOT, a TON of vegetables and 4-5 tiny pieces of beef, like most restaurants do it). Absolutely delicious, every dish I have tried at this place is a step above any other place in the 80 mile radius. China Wok on the corner of Mc. Call Rd and Gasparilla in the Publix plaza, has extremely nice service, every single time I walk in there and the food is not cheated with tons of vegetables and measly 2-3 pieces of meat, or seafood. They really give their customers what they want. With a genuine smile! No matter how tired, or busy they are. I have patronized China Wok of Gulf Cove a few times. On New Years Eve they were so busy that a simple two dinner order took over an hour after calling in my order. The sesame chicken and the Sechuan chicken were both in the same over sweet orange colored sauce. I was tempted to never get food from them again. A couple months later I ordered the same dinners and they were awesome. I enjoyed the meals. Fast forward to December 2016 ... I just wanted Hot and Sour soup in the middle of the afternoon. That's all I got and it was as good as could be expected. Hot & Spicy, it cleared my sinuses! So, I figured the New Years Eve was a fluke. They must have had their B team then. The latest visit Feb 3, 2017 I ordered the same meals as NYE and had a problem when I picked up my order. My Sechuan Chicken wasn't ready. The bag I was to pick up had a different dish. So I waited 10 minutes for the desk person to assemble my meal. This time I was disappointed, the sesame chicken dish was cold and the Sechuan chicken was in that over sweet orange sauce. That sauce seems to be the default when they are busy! ??? Never order food when they are busy??? Dinners anywhere are too expensive to be gambling on who prepares the meal and the level of care they put into it. read more

The sweet and sour was just a bland sauce with no flavor and cold The Tso chicken was the absolute worst. Loaded with salt, not just salty, incredibly salty. NO broccoli, two pieces of a florets. Happy Family was the best of the lot and it was fair. The sweet and sour shrimp was the worst I have ever had! The ratio of breading to shrimp was probably 3 to 1 and the shrimp were overcooked and tough. Sweet and sour sauce had little flavor.
