I ordered fried wontons and was given wonton soup because they didn't have fried wontons which I wasn't made aware of until I received my order over 20 minutes later. I told cashier what I ordered and he said, "girl, I don't give a f**k" before proceeding to refund me for the soup upon my request. If I hadn't already waited so long I would've asked for the entire order to be refunded. 0/10 service, no respect for customers or their hard earned money. read more

My favorite chinese restaurant in the area. My husband and I love the wonton soup, pork fried rice, sweet and sour chicken.

Why does Yelp require a minimum number of words for a review? I'm having to add more words to lengthen my review. It feels as though the government is in charge of this app, since they are making me jump through hoops to keep this review as a review instead of just a tip. I don't know what to say.. 4 years later...and still my favorite Chinese place that I've had in Florida. They are very consistent! Every time I order it's always good. Tonight I ordered take out 10 minutes before they closed and they were happy to serve me. Excellent customer service in my book. Had to give another rating just on the customer service. read more

I eat here all the time. Why? Because it's very close to where I'm staying. But don't be fooled; this might just be the most average Chinese restaurant I have ever visited. I mean, what else can I say? It's an acceptable value, the food is okay, the wait time is standard, if not a tad slow. It's your average Chinese place. Nothing special. I don't think I've ever encountered a more generic Chinese eating establishment. The name makes perfect sense. It's China Wok. You get Chinese food cooked in a wok. It's not "#1". It doesn't specialize in anything. It doesn't have some random individual claiming it's anything more than it is. It's just China Wok. I usually order the Bean Curd Szechuan Style. I have told the workers over and over and over to make it "extra spicy", but it's always more sweet than anything. It's just not what I'm looking for. But at the same time, I can't complain too much because it really isn't bad. But when I say "extra spicy", it had better be extra spicy. This just really annoys me. Let's talk rice. This rice is okay. But it's just not the kind you want to mix with your food. Good rice should make your dish complete. This rice doesn't do that. But it's not the worst rice ever. Again, middle of the road, average. If there's ANYTHING positive I can say about China Wok, it's their spring rolls. They're quite large. Crispy on the outside. You get 2 for like $3 I think. They're quite tasty. Some of the better spring rolls I've had. These are above average. Good job. I should also mention that I like the fact that I can choose between a small and large portion of vegetables. Not every place lets me do that. Again, good job. But other than that, there's just nothing even remotely special about this place. If you live in the direct area, by all means, make this a regular spot. I walk over all the time. But if there's ANY Chinese place that's closer, you have no reason to visit China Wok. Or maybe you just want to visit the most average, stereotypical American Chinese restaurant in existence. Amazing Chinese food, I work near by and I would recommend you to eat from this place! They are friendly, great customer service, great taste of food, definitely recommend this place! The food and speed of service both deserve 5 stars, but the deliverer showed up saying they don't take credit cards. What? This is 2018?! If you don't take credit cards, it seems that would be a good thing to make clear during the ordering phase of the process, not at the time of delivery. I really did not have enough cash, so the deliverer calls in my credit card. I immediately get a text from my card company stating my card was charged. Good enough, right? Nope. Then the deliverer tries to tell me he has to write out my card number on the receipt. Nope. He left upset (with a $4 tip), saying he would get into trouble. Ridiculous. Brilliant way to treat employees and customers. I ordered the curry chicken and a large steamed broccoli with no sauce. The broccoli was perfectly cooked. The curry was really delicious, with a nice quantity of thin pieces of chicken, onions, peppers,snow peas, water chestnuts, and baby corn all in a creamy curry sauce with a bit of a bite. Perfect! My order came with 2 small boxes of rice (which I don't eat, so I can't say how that was, but it's hard to mess up white rice), and all the usual sides (soy sauce, etc.). I'm sure I've not had better Chinese food anywhere in America. Too bad about the payment issues (which is a management issue). read more

So a co-worker and I were just looking for something fast and healthy for lunch when we noticed that the 'China Wok' was very close by...Our decision to eat there was also based on whether they had table seating or not. Well fortunately they did, but only (2) 4-top tables. As our order was being prepared one of the tables became available. The food was hot and came in covered carry out containers. The orders were both large, thank goodness they had sodas, beer and water available to wash them down. I ordered the Mei Fun house specialty plate and it was pretty flavorful. Overall I had a good experience and would return. 3 stars only because it is a Chinese carry out establishment and not a fancy steakhouse. 3 and a half stars would be more accurate! read more

Their sweet and sour soup is the best I never had! I can taste it is fresh made, not like other take out restaurant is premade, and their carb rangoon is my favor. If your order is short an item and youve decided to call this time because its happening waaay too often - you'll be greeted with 'are you sure' and then we get you next time. Ordered here today on the suggestion of a Co-Worker ( said it was really good and the neighborhood go-to), NOT! Yes, delivery was good, prices good, selection good, arrived hot, cute delivery person! Let's rant about the food, the veggie fried rice tasted old, most the veggies looked bad. The rice was rice, not fresh! The honey chicken (deep fried, breaded chicken breast pieces) was actually good & fresh. The Chicken LoMein, not that great to me but chicken strips were fresh. Forced myself to eat the Honey Chicken, late work day dinner. I actually threw away the LoMein altogether. Would I order here again? No Thanks!! read more
