This chicken is so crispy.... amazing..... my confirmation email was at 3:49pm, they called me to ask if "Pepsi was ok instead of coke" at 3:54pm and he called me arriving at 4:10pm.. that's 21 minutes people. That's the fastest delivery I've ever gotten in my life. The Pepsi was ice cold, (ordering cans help) it's more expensive but better than a 2lt that gets flat and warm in 7 seconds. The chicken I talked about was so crispy.. (and sometimes all Chinese food tastes sort of similar regardless what you order.. not the case here) I just sipped the wonton soup, (I prefer it saltier but I'm a salt maniac, so i'd rather it be less salty and everyone can enjoy it and maybe some day I'll be normal like you. The eggroll was 10/10, I wasn't sure if it was so good because of the speedy delivery, but I just had a bite of a spring roll that was, by this time warm, yet still crunchy, and distinct textures differences between the outsideand the inside filling... very important... I would never knock anyone's portion size unless it was really out of whack, their's is perfect for 99% of the world. I just happen to be 6ft 210lbs of lean muscle so I'm gonna get 2x sweet n sour cxn cause it's like Chinese extra large popcorn chicken, crispy white meat goodness enjoy bon appetit bon voyage I had a really good picture but lost it and couldn't wait. Back in town and everything at home is bare. I go for a grocery run but know I'll more likely won't cook. I try to place the order online but it requires to set up an account. I hate doing that. It's just the opening to fill your inbox with advertising material. I go old school and call the venue. They answer on second ring and take my order in a few second. Efficient! They say it will be ready in ten minutes I shop more than 10 minutes and walk to the store. The outside shows the age. Sign has seen better days but there's a very clean and clear windows that shows several individuals and small groups eating inside. It smells good. I've shared a colorful menu of items that would have been useful on the website. I tell the woman behind the register my older since she never took my name. My food is still steaming hot and packaged up to the side, I do a quick peek, pay and leave. I get it the 15 minutes home and it's all still steaming. It smells good. But no spoon for soup in the bag. Wontons are very good but the broth was very simple. Veggies were perfecting cooked but had no flavoring at all. Ordered delivery from here and the food arrived quickly and piping hot. I enjoyed everything except the dumplings, which were overcooked and a bit rubbery. The Szechuan chicken combo was a great portion, and nicely spicy with lots of flavor. The chicken lo mein also came with a hefty portion and plenty of chicken. I ordered for delivery and my food was delivered pretty quickly and still super hot!!! So I was pretty happy about that! Now the bad part... the food was WAAAAAY tooooo salty! I'm usually a fan of salt and don't mind my food being on the salty side but this was just on a whole new level of saltinesses. Decent take out Chinese food! They always have your food ready and prepared within 15 minutes. I typically will order the dinner combination meal as it is the most bang for your buck. You get your meat, rice, and an egg roll. The general tso chicken is great, pork fried rice is good, and the egg rolls are even better! However, on Monday, we ordered 3 combos, house special soup, and an order of sweet and sour shrimp. The order was missing the noodles for the soup as well as the three egg rolls from the combo dinners. We called and were told they had no delivery service, were closed Tuesday so come in Wednesday. This woman Amy was as nasty as could be...said her people told her they put the egg rolls in the bag and acted like we were trying to scam her. Don't usually crave Chinese takeout because I've never seemed to find a trusty location that puts out consistently good food, but this place is a gem! I ordered sweet and sour chicken, shrimp with snow peas and yung chow fried rice (BOMB)--all lunch orders that came with a side of egg rolls. The order was estimated to take 45 mins but the delivery guy brought it with a quickness in 20 minutes. All the food was seasoned well, not overly salty or soy-saucy and the egg rolls didn't have any pink colored questionable contents that other Chinese takeout places seem to stuff them with.
