    General Tsos Chicken lunch meal

UPDATE: the owner "Eddie Z" (picture of flaming horse) hasn't stopped harassing me for over a year since I left this review. Mean "compliments", messages, emails. All for an honest review This is simple, boring, unflattering, greasy, MSG-filled, fried, sugary, syrupy, flavorless, overcooked, standard Chinese food. Luckily they offer cheap lunch. 6.40 for my general Tso chicken and fried rice with egg roll. It was all pretty disgusting. The rice was inedible because it was over-fried. I asked for the chicken to be Extra spicy and it was just extra syrupy. The egg roll was hallow and flavorless. It was actually all really disgusting I was just starving and craving Chinese food. It's across from my office, but I'll never be back here ever again.

Meh... I was in a rush and ran into the first food place I saw. Prices looked good and the menu seemed like any other Chinese take out menu. I ordered the Chicken in Garlic sauce lunch special extra, extra, extra spicy which came with an egg roll. They told me 10 minutes and I was not thrilled since I had to get back to work. They made it in less than 5. Great! They had a bowl of Chinese candy on the counter. Nice! There was a poster of Bruce Lee on the wall priced at $3. Awesome! Now I get back to work and start eating the food. Meh! Not good. Not spicy either. Luckily, I asked the girl for a thing of hot oil which I ended up pouring all over my food to get some kind of flavor. Why is it so hard to find good Chinese food in south FL?

Generals chicken. Can never go wrong with that

I ordered the general's chicken lunch special. Comes with 1 side egg roll soup or soda , I got the egg roll and pork Fried rice. Chicken was good sweet not spicy, as I would expect a little heat. The rice was cooked well lots of pork, could use more onion or add bean sprouts to it to kick it up a bit in flavor, not bad for lunch better then most Chinese takeout near where I live

Not NY style at all! I know I'm from there!

Food is good; had the fried rice and sesame chicken-nothing to rave about. Fast and convenient. No room to eat inside

Too greasy and salty for me. It was fast and easy but I would not recommend the food at all.

I love hotpot. I could eat it every day for the rest of my life and never get bored. By far, K&L 98…read moreis my favorite hotpot restaurant in Palm Beach County. The staff is always extremely friendly and knowledgeable. When I bring friends that are new to the concept, staff are eager to explain the bar, the revolving ingredients, and the different types of broth. Water glasses are never empty (which is a good thing since I tend towards a mix of spicy & tomato broths). The food is always fresh, and the bar/tables are always clean. The space is extremely inviting because of the lighting, the large floor to ceiling windows and the furniture. And the meets, veggies, seafood, and sauces are always fully stocked - I have never had to request staff to refill an ingredient. I love the variety they offer, and will continue to make this my go-to hotpot spot for the foreseeable future!

I went several rounds trying to sample as many combinations as possible, but I was full before I could even begin to scratch the surface. In addition to what you pick yourself, there's also food that comes around on the conveyor belt that you can grab, which adds to the fun of the experience. The make-your-own sauce bar has lots of different ingredients, so you can customize your flavors however you like. Our waitress was attentive and checked in on our table regularly. I also appreciated that the restroom was clean.

We ordered little bit of everything!! lol The homemade buns, papaya salad, sticky rice, banh mi, banh xeo and some desserts Everything was just wonderful!! It was a very authentic and cozy feeling when you walk in. The service was spot on! We got our food quick and we were happy. We tried the pork bao bun. This was so full of flavor on the inside and the bun it's self was light and fluffy. Next we had the shrimp summer rolls. They were ok, not something I recommend. They had three shrimp and the sauce was not very flavor full. The last thing I had was banh mi, really it was a sandwich with chicken and vegetables. I wasn't impressed with it. I'd never had it before either. I also had a peach tea, which was the best thing of the whole meal. This was sweetened with real peach and had peach pieces at the bottom. All and all it was ok, I'd go back and try different stuff.

This. All of this. This is what a Chinese restaurant…read moreshould be. Great food at decent prices, friendly servers, and no contrived fluff over getting some hipster deconstructed curry kabob blah blah blah. Our food (and we tried quite a few things) was fresh, hot, and delicious. Not one person who worked there passed by us without asking how we were or if we needed anything. Our only minor nitpick would combo dinners getting veggie fried rice instead of pork but even that was good.

Yes they were that good and the tangy soy sauce that pairs with it enticed the hell out of my taste buds. I wasn't sure if I had already tried the beef in hot garlic sauce but I ordered it anyway. I chose a non- spicy choice but it definitely would probably be more flavorful with more spice. I loved that it came with veggies - bamboo shoots, carrots and my favorite...mushrooms! The house pan fried noodles were certainly interesting as the crispy egg noodles were in a separate container from the shrimp, calamari, chicken, pork and vegetables. Once you added the protein, veggies and gravy the noodles start to soften up. Loved that it came with more mushrooms but wished it had more taste. Overall I will definitely be getting those pork dumplings again but I may just stick to my old faithful house fried rice and orange beef until I'll feeling adventurous again.
