Sesame chicken and fried rice with wing not egg roll WTF??

Ok I am originally from NY and have had many bad food before BUT THIS TAKES THE PRIZE! The food was SO INEDIBLE EVEN THE STRAY CATS AT MY JOB WOULDN'T EAT WHAT I DIDNT and that was 1/2 of what was there. The rice was NOT fried rice that was RICE-a-RONI! The sesame chicken sits and is reheated garbage that almost broke my teeth cause of it being cooked over and over again. The wing was killed 3x over at least it was so dried out from the reheating that the chicken that died for this meal is now crying in pet heaven and is asking to come back as an accident murder to get revenge (please let them get their wish) The DOH needs to come in and try this HOT MESS! HOW THE HELL ARE THEY STILL OPEN? I even haven't had this bad of food from KFC or any other chicken or fast food place in my LIFE! SHUT THE PLACE DOWN ALREADY

Looks like gravy, but it is congealed grease with a brown tint. Disgusting

Really disgusting food with service to match. The only part of our order that was "right" was some brown stuff that may have been fu yung before it was drown and served floating in a brown tinted grease. Inedible. Don't waste your time or money.

Great food. Wonderful Egg Drop Soup and Sweet & Sour Pork. The Sweet & Sour Chicken is good, too.

The Food- The Ambience-…read more The Service- I visited this place from out of town and the food was so dang good, I almost ordered a second helping of the eggplant dish just to bring back to Va. I didn't even get a picture of it because I was in a trance. I also had the braised beef noodle soup (pictured), top tier please visit this place. I'm plotting my next outing JUST to go here. I am a foodie at heart. My friend had the Ma-La Dried Peppers Chicken, that was also incredible. Everything has sooooo much flavor. The eggplant was hands down the best I've ever had in my life. Go on their website, the food looks just like the pictures in real life. It's also super clean inside. Just go, you won't be disappointed !

This review is for Sun's Kitchen, tucked down near LoSo/Lower South End, and let me tell you --…read morethese dan dan noodles absolutely hit the spot. I was in one of those "I need noodles immediately" moods, and Sun's Kitchen did not disappoint. I called my order in for takeout, and everything was packed perfectly. No leaks, no mess, still hot when I got home, and the portion was surprisingly generous for the price. The dan dan noodles here are rich, savory, a little spicy, and incredibly comforting. If you're not familiar with them, dan dan noodles are a classic Sichuan street food dish from Chengdu traditionally tossed in a spicy, numbing ma-la sauce with pork, scallions, and pickled vegetables. Sun's Kitchen does a really delicious version that's flavorful without feeling too heavy. The noodles have that perfect chewy texture, and every bite has just enough heat to keep you going back for more. If you're someone who's curious about ethnic food but maybe unsure where to start, this is honestly a great entry-level dish. Yes, there's a little spice, but it's approachable and balanced. The dining room itself is modern and beautiful, and now that they serve beer and wine, I definitely need to come back and enjoy a full dine-in experience instead of rushing home with takeout. The only caveat is the parking lot can get a little chaotic since it's shared with neighboring businesses, especially during busy hours. But trust me, it's worth circling for a spot. Charlotte, there's a big wide world of food out there, and places like Sun's Kitchen make exploring it easy and delicious. Get out there and eat your way through it.
