Worst Chinese experience I've ever had waited a hour after calling it in then all workers extremely rude food is disgusting

DISGUSTING!! Food looked good until we found lots of mini bugs in all 3 orders. Went inside to claim and he said it was parts of the wok. Wok residue doesnt have legs!!!! This place should be shut down!! We thought it was spices until we saw a large one with legs our food! Then we started searching and there was more than 5 in each order. Never again. Not only rude but food average at best. I went it to order a lunch lo mein. I ordered it it was around $11 paid for it with my credit card I had no cash on me. He hands me my food in a Styrofoam container and I said can I get soy sauce and chopsticks and he said $.25 each I said, for condiments and the utensils??. Keep in mind he didn't give me a fork or a plastic wrapped fork and spoon. I said I'm sorry I don't have $.25 on me can I just have one he said no and he said we have a minimum of two dollar credit card to charge so I said so let me get this straight so you I have to buy eight chopsticks or four chopsticks and four soy sauce from you and pay you another two dollars for something that should come automatically with my meal?? Ok I am originally from NY and have had many bad food before BUT THIS TAKES THE PRIZE! The food was SO INEDIBLE EVEN THE STRAY CATS AT MY JOB WOULDN'T EAT WHAT I DIDNT and that was 1/2 of what was there. The rice was NOT fried rice that was RICE-a-RONI! The sesame chicken sits and is reheated garbage that almost broke my teeth cause of it being cooked over and over again. The wing was killed 3x over at least it was so dried out from the reheating that the chicken that died for this meal is now crying in pet heaven and is asking to come back as an accident murder to get revenge (please let them get their wish) The DOH needs to come in and try this HOT MESS! Worth the drive... to Newport. To go to that Chinese place next door to Shane's Rib Shack, because eating here at Chinese Kitchen in York is... unfathomable. It's like a giant trash can with a Chinese restaurant inside. There's no good reason to eat here. Absolutely disgusting! I tried this place after moving down here to York last year and it was just appalling. I got the chicken and broccoli and it was just a pile of hot garbage. Food isnt that great. Selection is poor, if it isn't chicken wings, or rice, good luck, they might have it. No delivery, 4 picnic tables, outside, 4-5 chairs inside for waiting. Food is expensive, lo-mein noodles are just spaghetti. All sauces are extra. Utensils are extra. Cups are extra. Extra napkins are extra. Dont ask for plates. Take my word for it. Owner is very rude, and frugal. My family and I wont be returning. You pre-pay. $43.00 for 4 combo platters, and a $5 gallon of iced tea, that we now have to take swigs out of because cheapskate wouldn't give me 5 cups for free, and i had no change, and a debit card, and 5 cups were only $2.50 of his $5 debit minimum. read more

Wonton soup and White rice. Quart of Wonton soup $6.50. Panda Hut Lake Wylie $2.70.. Panda Hut 10 Wontongs This place 4 wontongs. Besides the price the Wonton soup was terrible.White rice was good. If you want quantity (order of sesame chicken) then you may like this place, unless of course you also want something that tastes good. There was a large amount of over-breaded and over-cooked chicken but no sesames. I ordered it with fried rice that was dry and orange. My son ordered General Tso which had a little bit more flavor but also over-cooked and over-breaded. His dish also contained almost a full onion with little or no saute. I have never had General Tso's with onion before. I would definitely recommend skipping this place. read more

I went to get some Chinese takeout food for my wife and I. I ordered Kung Pao chicken and my wife Orange Chicken and some Crab rangoons. My dish was passable but the orange chicken was like fried breaded chicken in corn syrup with barely any orange flavor at all. The spring rolls that came with our orders were just nasty greasy; and the crab rangoons contained cheese cheese straight from the foil packet. So I wouldn't recommend this place at all. read more

The cook is a really friendly guy and makes amazing food. My favorite is the general chicken. Not the best service but not too bad a wait. June 12, 2015 - Owner is very arrogant and unprofessional. I had ordered Shrimp Fried Rice and Four Happiness carryout and was told the order would be ready in 20 minutes. Arrived 30 minutes later and the order had not started. Although there was no one else ahead of me, I waited another 15 minutes, picked up order, and drove home. After arriving home, opened food containers and there was no Shrimp Fried Rice, but a chicken and rice meal. Called Chinese Kitchen to let them know one of the orders was incorrect. They acknowledged they had made a mistake and my Shrimp Fried Rice Order was there. I was told to come back and they would give me the Shrimp Fried Rice order. I told them it would not be today as I was tired. They said OK, and took my name and number. We put the chicken and rice in a plastic container with a cover to be thrown out as my wife does not eat dark chicken meat. A few minutes later, Chinese Kitchen called wanting me to return the chicken order. I explained I had put the chicken and rice in a container to be thrown out. Chinese Kitchen still wanted me to return the chicken and rice and I would receive the shrimp fried rice. I put the chicken and rice back in the original foam container received from the Chinese Kitchen and went back to the restaurant. Upon arriving at the Chinese Kitchen restaurant, I told them I had returned the chicken and rice as requested and was there to pick up the correct order - the Shrimp Fried Rice. The owner then said that I had eaten some of the chicken and rice order and that he would not give me the Shrimp Fried Rice. I told the owner we had not eaten any of the chicken and rice. I had already explained over the phone that we had put the chicken and rice in a container to be thrown out, but after receiving the request to return this food, I had put it back in the original container. The owner insisted that somebody had eaten some of the food and then stated that there were chicken wings included with this order. I assured the owner there were no chicken wings included. After several heated exchanges, the owner kept insisting someone had eaten some of the chicken and rice and he walked away. I accidently dropped the chicken and rice behind the counter as I was attempting to show the owner how the chicken and rice became mixed together and all of the food was in the container, except for the wings which were not included anyway. This is bad business. Not only did Chinese Kitchen not fill the carryout order until I arrived and included an incorrect order, but also did not provide the correct order even after promising to do so over the phone.
