My 1st time coming here. I went during lunch time but I did not get any of their lunch specials. I wanted to try their Shrimp Mai Fun. It's a bit pricey but they & everybody else gives you a lot of it. After eating some of it, I have to say it is very flavorful, tasty & addicting. People who don't know what it is, it's real simple, it's rice noodles + vegetables + whatever meat you like or can just get more vegetables if you're a vegetarian in some kind of light seasoning. I would definitely recommend this dish! I ordered the shrimp Mai Fun & it's gonna last me 2-3 meals. I tried many many other Chinese places & I would have to say this place is the best so far. But the con of their lunch special, I don't think it's a meal deal. You only get the main item & fried rice or white rice. Most places you'll get an egg roll & soup like Egg Roll No. 1. First time getting takeout from here so we got a variety of items. The won ton soup was quite good. We ordered chicken teriyaki, sesame chicken, and BBQ boneless spare ribs as combo plates. All three were delicious. The other parts of the combo were the weakest parts. The egg rolls were okay. My wife liked the "pork" fried rice more than I did, but neither one of us noted any pork. The food here has become much blander over time. The customer service remains friendly. There is oftentimes a language barrier, but fortunately it appears it can now be bridged by online ordering. The closest thing to "back home" we've found in Chinese food since moving out here. Great sauces, large portions, friendly staff. My son would eat every meal there if we let him. Had Chinese from several south side places.... this is a memorable standout and we will definitely come back. As others have mentioned, the rangoon and General Tso's is above average. The egg rolls were great, as well.... and I don't even like egg rolls! We also had the shrimp lo mein... I was very satisfied. None of the fried food tastes "greasy".... it does feel light. Prices are good for the standard "pint" and "quart" sizes. We had a full dinner and enough for leftovers the next day for $20. Service is quick. The dining room is small, in keeping with the "takout" vibe. In fact, it might be difficult to find a table if you are eating in the restaurant, because one person sometimes will take up an entire booth because they are waiting for their order. read more

Very enjoyable. I've been here for lunch several times now. The small eat in space is clean, and they always make my food fresh. I went to China Wok on the recommendation of the other Yelp reviews and was frankly a little let down. Maybe it was because I was looking for a comfortable atmosphere and found that China Wok is essentially a take-out restaurant, with maybe a dozen tables for customers who choose to dine in. Maybe it was because I was hoping for mind-blowing, knock your socks off Chinese food, and China Wok's was just OK. Whatever it was, I wasn't particularly impressed. Don't get me wrong. The food isn't bad. For example, while I found the sauce for the General Tso's Chicken a little too sweet, the pork fried rice and egg rolls were both better than average. It's just that with Chinese restaurants in every other strip mall in Greenwood, I can't see any reason to go out of my way to eat here. read more
