Decent food for the area service was fast takeout only would definitely come back to try something else

Yesterday was the last time I'll order from Chinn's. I read a review a few weeks ago that stated bristle from a cleaning brush was in their fried rice. I discussed that review as a one time incident. I ordered the house fried rice. After my second serving I found bristle from a brush in my rice as well. DONE read more

The food use to be REALLY good here now its just ok. The price is high and the portions are not much. Parking on the side of the building nad expect a 15-20 minute wait no matter what you order. There is nowhere to eat on the inside. read more

The cook working in the restaurant was playing in his hair and refused to wash his hands before handling my food. I asked him to wash his hands, he refused. He gave me a refund because I asked him to perform a simple task, wash your hands. This is exactly how food borne illnesses are spread. This establishment operates under unsanitary conditions. If you care about your health, your loved ones health and the health of others, don't patronize this restaurant. read more

I've ordered food from here on numerous occasions and they have never let me down. The food is terrific! I agree with the other posting it is a dump, but its really true in this case that most hole in the walls have great tasting food. Chinn's has always served fresh and delicious tasting food. I rate this Chinese restaurant as #1, the best in Dolton . I've tried J-Wok, Golden China and others, don't get me wrong their food is good, however Chinn's is the best. read more

THEY WILL FEED YOU FOOD OFF THE FLOOR!!! First, I will start by saying this restaurant was a place that I use to frequent for many years and enjoyed their food. Until, just recently, when I stopped in to get my usually appetitizer. They have a open kitchen concept where the cooks are right where you can see them. I placed my order and waited patiently for my food to be done when I noticed the cook packaging my food and accidently dropped one of the appitizers on the floor - what he did next is why I'm writting this review. He then picked it up from the floor and placed it in the container. At that moment, I got up and asked for all of my money back (since I had 3 of the same orders). The lady asked what happened and I told her - but I guess in their native tongue he explained what happened. In stead of dealing with the situtation to save the loss of a customer - she tells me that he only dropped one of them do you want the rest of the order. I couldn't wrap my brain around any part of that question. She probably couldn't see that I now questioned their cleaniness (do they even wash their hands when handling people food). Who would do such a thing in front of a customer and think that it is normal. Do they practice this with all of their day to day functions? Do they see the need in being clean - the floor has be trampled with dirt and grease and you serve people food off the floor!!??? They may be convenient - but BUYERS BE AWARE - this place makes too much money to have to SERVE THEIR CUSTOMERS OFF THE FLOOR - especially when they do a great cash only business!!!! NEEDLESS, TO SAY I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!! read more

What a dump, but what great food they have. They say the little hole in the wall places are the best, and this place fits the bill. A little pricier but worth the extra cash. read more
