Cash only, don't forget. The food is always fast and fresh. Longest I've had to wait is about 20 minutes. You can take a while to get home and it's still gonna be warm. I would say the service is better for takeout, in my own experience. Our go to order is the kung pao beef, Cantonese noodles with shrimp, crab Rangoon, and we try to throw in some other dishes. It's really nice that they can make anything spicier or less spicy if you ask. This is a community staple for a reason! read more

6 years living in whiting and despite the look of the place I hoped it was at least good. Sorry one and done. What we ordered: Crab Rangoon - you can't really muck up fried wonton. + cream cheese Egg rolls - terrible and not sure what it was stuffed with meat wise but again bland Kung Pao Shrimp (that I ordered asking for it to be spicy what is the blandest I've ever had). Shrimp and broccoli - this was for my son and at least this had fresh broccoli but again void if any seasoning Chicken rice soup - this had at least bamboo shoots, mushrooms, rice, fresh spring peas, chicken breast and likely some other vegetables but again the broth was terrible and bland. All of these items are now in my refrigerator as leftovers and will have to "doctor". them with herbs (garlic for sure) but probably not returning to order anything from there. I wish them well and I'm sure for some people who haven't had other Chinese food this is fine. However this was my experience and from what I ordered it was not good at all. read more

This place is a hit or miss on flavor based on the dish. Most items use the same sauce/gravy and call it a different name. The Kung Pao lacks flavor but the beef/chicken with broccoli is good. Great food and service. We placed an order for pick up and it took a little longer than expected but no big deal. We were fine waiting. I've read other reviews and wondered if they're about same restaurant (King chop suey in Whiting). I got steak kow and the meat was very tough, so tough in fact, it felt like my teeth were bouncing off pieces of rubber . No water chestnuts and very large chunks of broccoli the meat was also cut very large like the cook didn't want to take the time to prepare it correctly. I also got an order of shrimp fried rice. There were shrimp but other vegetables like bean sprouts were almost nonexistent. I wonder how this place stays open. read more

This is probably the worst example of low quality food I've ever had. First of all if you eat here plan on getting food poisoning! I've been in and out with my bathroom for at least 2 days now after eating what was supposed to be beef but was probably bat meat! If you don't like breathing eat this garbage!
