We were road tripping around the PNW for our honeymoon and we were staying in Long Beach, WA. We were heading towards Tillamook and decided to stop here in the morning. The woman working inside who helped us out at the drive up menu was so kind and great at suggesting pastries. We ordered two white chocolate mochas. I got mine hot and my husband got his iced. Delicious. She recommended a (I'm going to probably butcher the name) a pumpkin berry scone with cardamom icing and it was the tastiest pastry! This drive up coffee entices you off the road with cute decor and seating area. When you drive up to the window you are welcomed so warmly. Try the Ghirardelli Mocha she suggests "it is more like a dark chocolate and less sweet". So I ordered it. For a baked good I also went with the suggested pumpkin cheesecake muffin with toasty crumbles on top. She was right on with the suggestions so I returned a week later for a repeat order. What a pleasure to meet the owner with a fresh batch coming out of the oven. She had fresh Marion berry scones as well so I added that too. The muffins are fresh and moist with the crunchy crumble as a great contrast. The scone is fresh as well with buttery flaky texture. The mocha is superb as I prefer the dark chocolate but the hersheys regular mocha is also available. Take a turn to visit this spot. You can not go wrong! read more

So disappointed. My husband and I have been frequenting this place for years and look forward especially to the breakfast flatbreads as a to-go breakfast on our way in or out of town. This morning, however, we got two flatbreads, supposedly made with bacon, that literally had less than 1/8th of a strip of bacon between them. It was ridiculous and should be illegal to advertise, as the bacon was literally undetectable. Our drinks were really good. We had the chocolate peanut butter blended one. Two drinks total, one for each of us. Supposedly with four shots, we were told that it wasn't a problem to get four shots. However, we couldn't really taste any coffee. The drinks were delicious, but the lady gave us the saddest amount of whip cream we had ever seen in our earthly lives. I mean we paid 7 dollars for two drinks. How about some nice bountiful whippies? But instead no, just a dollop in an empty bubble lid was all we received. It was disheartening, saddening, and we felt really down about it. I really want to give three stars, I really do. I just don't feel like that would be the Christian thing to do right now. Yeah, the coffee was OK, the brain freeze was tasty, but the older lady behind the counter was a grouch and that kinda killed it for me. I asked for a smaller size than what was posted for one of the blended drinks (20oz) and was rudely told "THEY ONLY COME IN ONE SIZE". Yeah, whatever...is it really that hard to blend up a smaller amount? You're in Chinook, WA, we're the only customers, it's not like there's a line out the door. She's probably the only coffee cart in town so she can get away with being a jerk. I asked for the wifi password... "JUST A MINUTE", she barks. On our way out of Chinook, we stopped by and were happy to see that they also offered a few different types of sandwiches as well as drinks. I ordered their breakfast pita and an iced latte. This is the cutest place ever, it has a drive thru and an inside seating area with about 4 comfy chairs to sit in. The girls who work here are spectacular and truly make the best coffee on the penninsula. Don't go to the other coffee places, go here, it's well worth it for an actual good cup of coffee or latte. The store front was really cute and the coffee is great and the young ladies up front are nice and smiles but the cook in the back, wow she blew me away! I ordered a meatloaf sandwich from the window. The menu at the window describes the sandwich with lettuce, tomato and onion and pesto mayonnaise. I thought the pesto and mayo were separate but it is a pesto mayo. So I desired to go inside so I did not hold up the window. And the cook told me it comes with blue cheese, I replied I do not want blue cheese. She said and I quote, I can scrape it but I do not have another bun to make your sandwich. The girl who took my order told the cook that the menu outside does not say blue cheese and she still did not offer to remake my sandwich. I got my money back for the sandwich. Owners, please either change the menus so they all say the same thing, or change the cook. All I wanted to do was enjoy a meatloaf sandwich, had it had blue cheese on it and I did not know, I would of threw it up. At least the coffee was good!! read more
