Super cute LGBTQ+ friendly coffee shop. There's some seating and access to outlets, kind of smaller shop. There is a nice table that looks out to the road and can be a fun place to socialize with some friends. They have really cute pottery mugs and bowls and teach some classes next door. There's also some fun art supplies they sell like some watercolors and bullet journal supplies. It's a fun vibe at the shop! I went during the Astoria regatta and there was a great view from the shop with the parade going on.

Funky little art gallery/studio with an excellent chai latte... NOT boring old Oregon or Tazo chai. Barista is smart & engaging. Great spot on a blustery day.

Come prepared with three things: cash, an appetite, and a little patience. They don't take reservations--you simply write your name on the waiting list and relax while you wait. Trust me, it's worth every minute. We waited about 25 minutes, and after eating here, we understood exactly why there's always a line. In fact, we loved it so much that we came back two mornings in a row! The warm marionberry scones, fresh from the oven, are absolutely unforgettable. They're easily twice the size of a traditional scone, making them perfect for sharing, and every bite is buttery, tender, and bursting with sweet marionberries. I ordered the mushroom and Tillamook cheddar omelet with breakfast potatoes, and it was outstanding. The mushrooms were perfectly sautéed, the Tillamook cheddar was rich, fresh, and flavorful, and the potatoes tasted like they had been prepared that very morning before being crisped to perfection when ordered. Every bite tasted homemade. Our waitress had customer service down to a science--friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The restaurant itself is wonderfully cozy, with just a handful of tables upstairs and additional seating downstairs. That intimate atmosphere means your food arrives incredibly fast. Ours was piping hot and on the table within just a few minutes of ordering. One thing to know before you go--they're cash only. Honestly, I can appreciate that. In a busy tourist town where credit card fraud is an unfortunate reality, it's a simple system that clearly works well for them. If you're looking for an unforgettable breakfast, brunch, or lunch, The Lazy Susan absolutely belongs on your list. Just when we thought the experience couldn't get any better, our waitress casually asked if we'd like dessert. I laughed and said, "You have desserts?" She pointed to the homemade dessert menu, and we couldn't resist taking home a slice of the chocolate silk pie and the peanut butter pie AND Oh my heavens....Each was incredibly rich and velvety--almost like an indulgent cheesecake--with homemade flavor in every bite. They became the perfect mid-afternoon treat, and now I already have an excuse to come back because I can't wait to work my way through the rest of the dessert menu. Some restaurants are worth visiting... The Lazy Susan is worth planning your trip around!

They quickly made space for us and welcomed us like we'd been coming there for years. The food? Incredible. My mom and dad ordered the Bunkhouse French Toast platter, my brother and husband went for the Wondering Burrito, I had the chicken bacon provolone melt, and my sister-in-law had a bagel sandwich. Every single plate came out generous, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The portions were big enough to make you consider loosening your belt, and worth every bite. But honestly, what made this place special wasn't just the food, it was the feeling. The staff served us with such genuine warmth, it felt more like being in someone's home than a restaurant. The café itself is charming, with a cute rustic vibe that adds to the whole experience. You can tell this is a true local favorite. People greeted each other, shared smiles, and even struck up friendly conversations with us. It's one of those rare places where you walk in as a stranger and leave feeling like part of the community. Would I recommend Patty Cake? That's an easy one. Absolutely, without a doubt.
