Coffee Girl is a terrific indie bakery and cafe located at Pier 39 in Astoria, OR. Upbeat counter staff providing great service. The pastry case was nicely arranged. I enjoyed seeing the diverse customers onsite, plus great views of the Columbia River waterway with container ships and even pelicans. There are both indoor and outdoor seating available. Visit #1 (6/19/25) The Homie had a 12oz The Pink Pony, which was a Strawberry Lavender Latte and a cherry pie bar. I had an 8oz mocha and a brownie. The brownie was fresh, fudgy, and decadent. Visit #2 (6/22/25) The Homie had a 12oz Rocky Road and a S'mores bar. On the sweet end of things. I had an 8oz cortado which was a perfect foil to another brownie. Missed out on lemon bars, but we shared a ginger cookie. Waiting in line during our second visit, I was able to look at their merch: Cafe D'Arte coffee beans, mugs, bags & totes, patches, masks, beanies, caps, Tshirts, and hoodies. Make sure to sign up at the register for frequent buyer points and/or a punch card. Liked it so much we visited this indie bakery & cafe twice! Great experience and a worthy detour.

Coffee was just what we needed. Husband got 16oz coffee and I got the same but iced!! Both hit the spot. It was a nice relaxing spot to watch the ships go by, talk and drink our drinks and appreciate where we were at, THE ASTORIA WATERFRONT, PIER 39!!

My mocha was beautiful, but I forgot to take a photo as I was distracted by the view

I enjoy this place more and more each time I'm in town. Got lots of work done today and my mocha was great. Very comfortable vibe.

Cozy little coffee shop and café in a historic setting. There is better quality coffee in Astoria, but you won't beat the experience at Coffee Girl. It's a cute little shop in Pier 39, the same shop where "coffee girls" served dock workers for decades. Great place to enjoy a warm drink and a sweet treat overlooking the river. And they have a good deck if you want to sit right on the water. Pro tip: get the cinnamon roll coffee cake. It's decadent and incredibly delicious!

What a gem of a place!!! Service was awesome! Even with a long line, the cashier made time to chat with us about our day. I ordered the Lox (duh!) and a vanilla latte. Everything was divine!! Highly recommend to stop by here! The location is super cool too. You can drive down the dock! Def recommended to walk around the old cannery and check out the views! If you are lucky, you'll spot a seal!

This place is steeped in historical relevance. It has fantastic views and wonderful coffee! When we walked in we were greeted as we stood in line. The views and pictures are amazing!!!! They have the pastries and a menu board with additional specials on them. I opted for my favorite- a large 16oz lavender latte prepared half sweet. It was PERFECT! It's a little pricey but I would still gladly come back. The staff was friendly and apologetic for the wait time, although it didn't really seem like it was taking too long. Get your coffee and be sure to step out back for a picture or two. Highly recommended

The long line to the counter was an early indicator that this breakfast spot was going to be good! There was ample seating, all with sweeping views of the Columbia River inside this antique cannery building! We ordered the Ham Quiche, Lemon Poppy Bread Pudding, & a latte. The bread pudding was amazing! A dense, moist lemony bread with poppy seeds & drizzled icing! The latte was magical! The quiche was solid! We would come back here again!

Located in the old Bumble Bee Tuna Cannery building on Pier 39, Coffee Girl is a wonderful place to enjoy your morning coffee, pastries, and listen to the sea lions right outside in Columbia River. This quaint shop is decorated with several plants and an extensive views of the river. They have a lot of pastry options along with sandwiches and friendly staff. While the breakfast sandwich was a bit too heavy for my liking, popular opinion still stands. Encourage everyone to check Coffee Girl out for coffee and enjoy those views. Just friendly reminder if you're sitting outside, protect your food from the birds. They are on the hunt

Super cute little coffee shop right on the water on Pier 39 in Astoria. The store was operating on a limited menu for the day but my wife and I still had a great time at the coffee shop. Staff was very kind and considerate, especially since most of the people in line had not read the sign saying "Limited Menu" today and they listed what was there... can only imagine how many times the cashier had to repeat that today. I had a really good hot chocolate and my wife had a Megalodon (coffee). We each had an everything bagel with cream cheese and we shared a blueberry coffee cake. Was a great sunny day to take in the waterfront, will definitely come back at another point to try their paninis!

Taking a break and enjoying an iced latte.

Enjoying a delicious iced latte on pier 39 from the best coffee find this trip. Carrot cake, cream cheese brownie, magic bar all 10/10. The friendly and fun guy who helped us was the best. This little gem is a must find after a Goonies day in Astoria. The water is just outside the shop. Perfect break spot. Nice seating inside too.

Coffee Girl is in Astoria's Pier 39, by the original Bumblebee Cannery Museum. The coffee and drink selection is great and they make great tasting coffee . They also have a large selection of sweet and savory treats as well as breakfast sandwiches and paninis. There is ample room to sit/stay and enjoy your coffee/food... many of the tables have river view windows and weather permitting, there is outdoor seating as well. The service is very good, but be patient if you order sandwiches as they are made to order fresh and could take a little while.

Ron Levinson and Frank Sulick really enjoy the Coffee at Coffee Girl ! Any chance we get a Free Hat ??

Great price on the bakery items. Loved the unique flavors of scones and my toddler had so much fun watching the ships as we ate breakfast.

It reminded me of two Italian spots in Seattle's Pioneer Square. Very popular since most of the onsite seating were occupied (6/20/25). No surprise after glancing at their menu, easily I could gravitate towards several of their sandwiches. Lots of merch and deli items are also available to select from. I ended up ordering a half pound of proscuitto (0.52 lb for $17.67). This was carefully sliced thin, packaged, and wrapped carefully, which was duly noted and greatly appreciated. We paused at window counter seats and had to sample the purchase before departing. Absolutely delicious! Helped elevate a meal the next day too. I may have to return to indulge in one of their Italian sandwiches. Update: we did return to dine onsite at the same window counter seats (6/22/25). The Homie had the Hot Meatball ($14). Meaty with zesty sauce. I had the Salami Panini ($12), which reminded me of a fave Italian panini at Irwin's Bakery & Cafe in Seattle. Both were fantastic, hit the spot, clean plate club worthy, and definitely no takeout boxes needed! Gaetano's Market & Deli, a terrific find in Astoria!

Because we were driving through on our road trip, we decided to make a stop here for a late lunch this last Tuesday afternoon, around 2:15 pm. After we parked, we walked inside and headed towards the salad bar/ hot bar food area. After looking around (there is also a counter that you can order made to order sandwiches and burritos), I ended up deciding to purchase the following: Peanut Chicken Sesame Noodle Salad, $8.99- This was quite a massive portion so I only ended up eating about 1/3 of it and then had the rest over the next few days (I ended up mixing it with some chopped cucumbers and tomatoes that I had to make a large salad). I loved the peanut sesame dressing and noodles in this salad but wished there was more chicken. Mayak Egg Noodle Bowl, $8.99- My husband picked this salad for himself but I didn't have any. He thought it was good and appreciated something fresh, as his bowl had shredded cabbage, like my salad, and cucumbers and shredded carrots. Pumpkin Pie, $6.99- My husband saw this small pumpkin pie and decided to get it because he is such a big fan of it. I actually don't like pumpkin as much as when I was much younger. But I did like this pie and thought the flavors were well balanced, not too overly sweet. ---------------------------------------- (Total= $24.97) I really appreciated that the little dining area (there is also an outdoor dining area as well but because it had rained previously, we opted to sit inside) had plastic bowls and plates available for you to put your food in. This was helpful for me to be able to thoroughly mix my noodle salad since the dressing was mostly on the bottom. Then after I mixed it, I just put it back in the plastic container and only left about 1/3 of the salad in my bowl to eat. If I lived in this area, I would definitely be a regularly of this market (specifically for the prepared food area).

It was absolutely outstanding! Every ingredient felt incredibly fresh and vibrant. The rich flavors of the grilled tempeh and the perfect tang of the sauerkraut paired beautifully with the hearty, fresh-baked rye. The service was also wonderful and incredibly thoughtful--they noticed we were sharing and kindly split the sandwich into two separate plates for us before bringing it out, which we truly appreciated. The only downside was the iced tea, which unfortunately tasted quite watered down and lacked flavor. Aside from that, it's a fantastic spot. If you're exploring the historic streets of Astoria and looking for high-quality, conscious food, this place is definitely worth a visit!

Along with this I had it with the tempeh sausage, which was a vegetarian sausage which didn't necessarily taste like a sausage but added great flavor and depth to the food.
