Think about the most perfect cookie experience you had as a kid. How did it smell and how did that cookie taste? This place brings it all together. I'm so happy this place opened up so I didn't have to go to Crumbl anymore. Crumble is a waste of money and you leave feeling like guilt and like you've gained 10 lbs. Chip wraps you in happiness and invites you in like it's your amazing aunt's or favorite friend's kitchen. We go a lot. It started as a treat for my toddler as a reward, but ended as a guilty pleasure for myself. The cookies were always cooked to perfection until yesterday when we received cookies that were slightly overcooked on the edges and raw in the very center. I enjoyed the ginger cookie, the special, even though it had the same problem. But was turned off when I noticed the pastry paper was cooked into the bottom of the cookie. This happens, I get that, but it took some work just to get that paper out. When I got home I noticed that the ginger cookie should have been dipped in chocolate, but nothing was offered and I wasn't told about this. Chip, please work on training your workers. We have always had great experiences except for this time and will not be ordering again if this worker is there. Overall, we've been several times and have always had great cookies and experiences. This was the only time we even slightly had a lower than perfection experience and I have a super high cookie expectation. read more

I tried the classic chocolate chip (can't go wrong) and a wild card flavor--salted caramel pretzel--and both had me lowkey emotional. The edges are crisp, the centers are gooey, and they don't skimp on the mix-ins. Honestly, it's giving "fresh out the oven at Grandma's" but with the confidence of a gourmet bakery. Staff was chill, place was spotless, and the box they came in was so cute it made me wanna take pics before I even ate one. Which consisted of the following *OG chip *Sugar chip *Tres leches chip *Special cookie of the week (pink frosting) They were all so delishhhh, they have a really good chocolate chip cookie! but I'm obsessed with the tres leches chip lol I've gone back for it like 10 times already LOL The place is very clean and the young lady working was super sweet!! I was not expecting much to start so I tried the red velvet. Oh wow, you got to try this place. So deliciously awesome.

I was gifted two Chip cookies, and boy, were they delicious! The "Summerwood chip" (named after its location) was a thick chocolate chip cookie with giant (!) chocolate chips. The dough was really buttery and everything was quite sweet and melty in my mouth, om nom nom! It had a nice balance of dough and chocolate, as sometimes I think some chocolate chip cookies have too much chocolate! If you're in the mood for a dense and chewy cookie, this one is a bit chewy but not dense (or gooey). The Tres Leches cookie was a bit messier with condensed milk dripping off the edges, but the cookie itself was still tasty and quite sweet. Wasn't a fan of the whipped cream topping though-- it's a very stabilized version of whipped cream to hold its shape but the taste didn't taste like cream to me, so I actually scraped it all off to eat the cookie! It seems like Chip is a nationwide brand with only a few locations in Texas. Its simple and chic logo matches its minimalistic design, packaging, and store interior. You can buy their cookies as is or pay a little more to customize with different frostings or toppings! And they'll heat up the cookies on request. You can buy them individually or in a pack of 4 or 12. He did say it took quite a while to wait for his turn to order at the shop even though he was only 1 of 2 people there. Visited during their grand opening weekend. Was delighted to get a free cookie in addition to the one I was interested in ordering the SW Chip. There are a few other cookie competitors, however this location is closer than my other favorite thick cookie place so it will be a good sub when I don't want to make a long drive. New cookie spot in my neck of the woods. I've been in twice. I wanted to give a fair review. Both visits have been very consistent with service. They ask you if it's your first time then walk you through the menu. I customized my own cookies. It's fun actually. The young lady helping me was all in for adding extra toppings lol. The cookies are so good! My faves are the OG, SW, sugar chip, and biscoff chip. I love how many chocolate chips are in each cookie; makes the cookies chunky! You can also add toppings on them if you'd like. The quality of the cookies is really stellar and much better than Crumbl IMO. read more

It gives Crumbl's baby cousin who has good intentions. So, the concept reminds me a lot of Crumbl. They have only a few cookies on the menu. From my understanding, they do swap out sometimes but not weekly :) The quality and texture is much better than Crumbl. The cookie was delicious. It is a chunky cookie, maybe about 2 inches tall. I just hate that the only "nut" topping they offer is coconut because I wanted to remix the one I got and add nuts to it. I will definitely visit Chip again. Staff was super friendly and definitely to my daughter. But this place is super confusing and kinda made ya wanna leave. Walking in it's like... what do they sell? Walking in I see them making cookies, and like can't really see the board. I seen the options on Ubereats which helps. I understand that there's a trend of keeping the simple basic look but this is way tooo confusing u less explained by a staff member. This place has to factor in that some people are introverts and prefer to just order, pay, then leave. Cookies weren't bad either but there's definitely needs to be a revamp of this place. This place isn't with the drive. They never have the entire selection. We arrived one house before close and the clerk told us that they only have sugar cookies because we are about to close. You close in one hour. This isn't the first time, second time or third time that this has happened. Definitely would call to see what's available before making the drive. read more

Such a fun experience! The cookies are sublime with the perfect fluff of cookie with a filling within. I ordered two better than sex cookies and two choconut cookies. Oh my, let me just say, such a warm and delicious cookie when you bite into it. And who am I kidding? When I say "bite into it" I mean use my spoon to get a piece because it's like trying to eat a tostada FULL of cream and caramel and sweet, sugary goodness that is slightly melted because the cookie is still fresh and warm from the oven. The staff was delightful and accommodating. The history of this charming business is beautiful and inciteful as well because it's so relatable; as a mom, I understand the cravings being SO POWERFUL, that you and your spouse have to devise something so the baby will let you sleep through the night and this beautiful business was birthed. One of the employees seemed to have an attitude and barely any patience. One of the other employees helped us in the beginning and explained the menu for us. We ended up giving the order to the first employee. We clearly stated what we wanted. She seemed to mark the right cookies on the sheet. When we got to the checkout we felt rushed even though no one else was checking out yet. It wasn't until we got half way home that we realized that one of the cookies was wrong. It was the og chocolate chip cookie instead of the boneless (plain) cookie. My sister hates chocolate but it was too late to go back. I got the semi-sweet chocolate cookie and it was good. Overall the restaurant had a simple set up and you could customize your cookie for an extra $1 or so. It's the same price as Crumbl, but a little more if you customize. read more

Let me start by saying the cookies were a treat and the business owner was right in saying the OG may be a better fit than the SW. The establishment is cute and aesthetically appealing. Since many reviews suggested ordering in store requires a degree in astrophysics I decided to be one smart cookie and pre-order online. I was greeted upon entry, went towards the back end of the counter, advised the staff member I had placed an order online and told her my name. After a brief moment of what appeared to be confusion, she verified my order and handed me the cute box. I could not hold myself from opening the box, as I was about to take a pic of the contents, when I noticed one of the cookies did not appear to be correct. I immediately asked if the cookie in question was the Biscoff since it did not look like the pic I saw online, and was met with another look of confusion. Now mind you baby girl had JUST read to me the contents that should have been inside, but I digress. Nonetheless she took my box, scooped out the rogue cookie, placed it back into the warmer, and retrieved the correct cookie from the warmer. I really liked the location in summerwood, i had been seeing it pop up on my instagram adds but never tried it, and once i did it was very good. the employee was very nice and welcoming same with the place. it's not too bright and it's soft music playing, it was very clean and overall a very good experience. the cookies themself were just great. i loved the flavor and the ambience. i didn't have a single negative thing to say. they also gave me a free cookie to redeem. definitely worth checking out for those who haven't . read more

I got the regular chocolate chip cookie, and my boyfriend got something with cinnamon and frosting, it must have been a limited time offer since I don't see it on the menu anymore. It was delicious, both of them. I thought it was pretty straight-forward looking at the menu. You either order something off the menu, or you build it yourself. Didnt go for the customized cookie bcuz i wanted to get a feel for their basic recipe being my 1st time. Bought 2 plain cookies..OG and Biscoff. I almost fainted at the price. I paid appx. $8 for two cookies.!!! Are lu serious?? The flavor was fine but the texture is very doughy..almost like a biscuit??? I doubt i will return.
