The usual bakery I go to was closed so I came to this bakery in the area. I am glad I came here because it was delicious. The person who worked there was very nice. The food was good, I ordered a chorizo and arepa, my mom ordered the morcilla and she said it was good. I also ordered a cheese bread which was also good. I would tell them to heat it up for me next time. The place has tables and they have a tv which has the news on. They offer fresh juices and coffee. I would definitely come back and recommend it to others.

DELICIOUS chicken soup with plantains, spices, yummy plantain(?), bow tie pasta, carrots/peas, and the BEST broth ever!!!

OH MY GOD!!!! FOOD IS SOO GOOD, this place has EVERYTHING and they are SO NICE! Their baked goods are their front but they have way more food like curries, etc! I was sick today so I needed some soup. I ask if they have chicken soup and she says yes and serves me the most delicious soup I've ever had. OK!!!! WOW!!! Check out the pic for more ingredients. This was a huge bowl too, tall & wide for $5, which is unreal. I love family businesses where you can tell the food is made with LOVE & CARE!:) I'm a white Russian guy so I don't speak Spanish, which makes them surprised to see me sometimes lol! But they're always EXTREMELY nice. The music here slaps, I was shazamming every other song! They were playing a bunch of dramatic Spanish ballads by Camilo Sesto. YUM!!!!!

Was looking forward to straight out the oven bread. But overall good taste. Girls behind the counter very serious, not warm or welcoming.

The food, desserts & beverages are traditional Colombian & everything was well seasoned, proportioned & delicious. My Carne Asada (Grilled Steak) was perfectly cooked, the Chimichurri Sauce could have been prepared with less olive oil but the ingredients were tasty. The Arroz con Pollo (Chicken & Rice) was savory & well cooked. I especially enjoyed the Coconut Lemonade with real shreds of coconut. The place is small & intimate but we can get a group or family in there. There's also outdoor seating. The staff was polite, friendly & attentive. My compliments to the chefs. Please support this great family bistro.

The food was over priced and the portions were small. We ordered two bandeja paisa with the grilled steak...the minute the food arrived, I was afraid to eat the steak as it looked more like grilled chicken because it was so light in color and dry. I picked at the bland food. We decided to take whatever, I didn't eat home to give to my dog, but the truth is, I chucked it in the trash can outside on 1st and corner of 84th because it wasn't even worthy for consumption by my dog. Neverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr will I eat there again. To think I love Colombian Cusine, but Dulce Vida Latin Bistro is not good at all and definitely not worth the money. I was so pissed we spent $112.00 to eat crappy food in today's shitty economy. Serves me right...should have drove to Queens to eat delicious Colombian food but hubby didn't want to drive! Stay away....not good, if you know you know and I'm a latina!

I've been to Inca Paisa before, and unfortunately it has never been my first choice. The only…read morereason I return is because it's my grandmother's preferred restaurant since she lives nearby. We arrived around 6:20-6:30 p.m. There were plenty of open tables, but we weren't seated until much later. During that time, the male waiter seemed more concerned with other tasks. He was seating a woman whose party of six hadn't yet arrived, going back and forth to the kitchen, handing out receipts, and collecting menus. After all of that, he finally approached us--not to seat us--but to ask, "How long are you going to take?" I replied, "Sir, we're here to eat." He responded that the side tables were for people watching the game. I explained that we were there to dine, as this is a restaurant. Even after we were seated, he avoided our table completely. He took the order of a table that had been seated after us while we continued waiting. About 20 minutes later, a female waitress noticed we had not been helped and took over our table. She was attentive, professional, and the only reason we received service. After placing our order, we waited about an hour for our entrées. The food was also underwhelming. The Papa a la Huancaína came with an excessive amount of sauce and very few potatoes. The Ceviche Mixto lacked the bright citrus flavor that ceviche should have. My grandmother, who is very familiar with Peruvian cuisine, found it bland, and even after taking it home we couldn't improve it. The Bistec Encebollado was slightly too salty for our taste. The beans simply weren't to my liking, though that's a matter of personal preference. Another issue is the dining room layout. The seating is extremely tight, to the point where it feels like you're almost elbow-to-elbow with the tables next to you, making the experience feel cramped. Overall, this visit was disappointing. Between the slow and inattentive service, the long wait for food, the cramped seating, and several disappointing dishes, the experience did not justify the visit. The female waitress deserves recognition for stepping in when we had been overlooked, but unfortunately she couldn't make up for the rest of the experience.
