Crystal City location only. Once was good. Once was terrible. I went there when it opened (1030 AM) and the food was old. Terrible. Made me not want to go to any Chipotle again. Now, to be fair, I have eaten there later in the day, once, and it was very good. And I eat at Chipotles regularly. I am a big fan of this food chain. My favorite is the veggie bowl which comes with a free tortilla. I love their salsa. The only problem is the dirty environment, their washroom is highly dirty and the space is full of water and napkins all around. They should improve that either it will be difficult to stay inside. read more

My 1 seed chipotle. It was the first one in Arlington (I think it was the first one in arlington) and used to drive there from Yorktown when I was there. Still made special trips when I lived 30+ mins away and had 4 chipotles within 10 mins of me. Always get big heaping portions of whatever I order, and its fairly easy to get to. The portions are good and burritos taste excellently fresh. If you are not very hungry, go for the "Burrito Bol" that is burrito without the tortilla. The vegetarian burrito is my favorite. It is much less crowded during weekends. Close parking can be a problem at other times as they have just two reserved spots out front. But there're couple of parking garages (free during weekends) on walking distance, one across the street and another just behind the location. read more

I hope the manager reads this. Cashier and other servers/attendants have no class or manner or education on how to behave in the workplace in front of paying customers. Cursing, F word right, left, center, sharing photos on their cellphones while customers wait in line, and a terrible attitude as if they feel entitled to treat customers like s--t, is what I just witnessed at this location. Avoid this place at all costs. Dirty tables. Terrible customer service, even at the management level. In fact, the manager wanted to argue with us about her mistake. A simple "sorry about that" would have fixed the solution. To top it off, the chicken is often dry and lacking flavor. This Chipotle has poor customer service. During lunchtime, with businesses around, it can get busy. I asked for tacos and received two when I asked for three. I moved along the line and when I approached the register and paid for my tacos. I mentioned to the employee at the register that I thought I was supposed to get three tacos. He got very defensive and was very rude in replying that "I should have asked for it then." He then replied,"I only charged you for three." Once again, very rudely. I was not asking for a free taco and the response to a question should not have been met with such hostility. I will not be going back to this Chipotle and I hope the customer service improves. read more

I asked for lettuce and I got four pieces of lettuce. The guy was too lazy to replace the lettuce. They put tomatoes on my plate when I didn't ask for it and the lady got upset that she had to make it again. She said " so what you didn't want tomatoes". She had the worst attitude throwing people's food together. She didn't have on a name tag but her orange hair makes her stand out. I LOVE Chipolte and eat there more than I care to admit. With that being said, this Chipolte is TERRIBLE. I hate to say it but every time I open my burrito bowl after leaving this location, it is a total let down. I know I should just drive 5 minutes down the road and get the great Chipolte we know and love. 95% of the employees do not care about their jobs and you can tell from the moment you walk in. Every ingredient is an inconvenience for them to put in your burrito, assuming they have the items you want. They regularly run out of all kinds of ingredients (and chips) and you know they have everything available and are just too lazy to get it for you. Drive the 5 minutes to the one in the shopping center and save yourself the disappointment! read more

Customer service was horrible, we came in around 845 on a Tuesday night, they close at 10.... Staff seemed agitated that two of us came in for some burritos and drinks, burritos came out good but when the drinks came around there was no tea left, I asked one of the employees of they could refill it and she stated "nah we're closing soon" keep in mind it's only 850 at this point.... Finally the manager made her refill the tea and when I thanked her she just made some noise in return. Won't be coming to this location again! read more

This chipotle sucks. Used to be good but now you wait in line for basic ingredients to get cooked. They never have any fajitas prepared and never seem to care. The original group that was here all left and now it's a c-team at best. They don't care about their job it seems and relish in making you wait. Parking is free across the street (underground) if you arrive after 4pm -- before that parking is zero to none as you are best on foot. The burritos here are not all that great. they are mostly rice, but that is the chipotle style. I ordered the cheese quesadilla today off the secret menu and thought it was rather tasty. they appearently season the cheese with a bit of chives as i found some in the quesadilla even though i didn't ask for any. However what I didn't like was the price of my quesadilla at this place. At other chipotles, the price of a cheese quesadilla is $1 but at this one its $3.40 plus tax. Way too expensive for a tortilla shell with almost no cheese on it. I gave it two stars because of the price of the quesadilla at this location. If they lower the price to $1 I'll give it a higher rating read more

I totally enjoy Chipotle's. I think that their food is fresh an fantastic. I must say however that I'm very DISAPPOINTED AND CONFUSED with the service and portion sizes of the meats (chicken, pork and beef) that the Chipotle location at 2231 Crystal Drive, Arlington, Va provides. In comparison to other Chipotle locations that I have been to in the DMV area, this Chipotle location consistently provides smaller portions of the meats (chicken, pork, beef) than the other Chipotle restaurants in the DMV. It's amazing that this specific restaurant can be so conservative on the portion of meats that they place on their burritos, tacos and burrito bowls. The other locations are so liberal in terms of the amount of meat that they provide their customers. It seems like the other restaurants are more concerned with their customers receiving full, hearty portions while the Crystal Drive Location is being cheap with its food portions. I have complained to the management and they say that they are following company policy. But clearly if you compare the servings at this specific Chipotle with other Chipotle in the area there is a DRASTIC difference in the serving sizes and in the way that their management encourages ample serving sizes. read more

Not only am I addicted to chipotle but I'm also ALWAYS pleased with this location! FYI, DO NOT go to the one in Pentagon city mall!! I actually live down the street from this location so I visit at least once a week! Ha. The portions are always great, you always get fresh ingredients due to the busy area, as well as the employees are always so great at getting you your food in a line that's out the door! It is crystal city so there are a lot of offices around so come before or after the 12-1:30 period. You might not feel that much "involvement" from the employees as someone mentioned, though you will get your money's worth after not a long of a wait (since it is always pretty moderate busy). read more
