I love Chipotle. The Avon Chipotle is usually my go to. I'm not sure what happened today. I understand everyone is facing staffing constraints, but that's no reason for poor customer service. Bad experiences with online ordering at this place!! We normally do not order for pick up at Chipotle due to some previous bad experiences with our orders. Our last couple of online orders were terrible!, very small portions, missing ingredients and bad packaging. This Chipotle location is usually quick, convenient, and accurate with my order. Tonight, I put in a pick up order using the Chipotle App and when I got there to pick up my order it was right on time. When I got home to dig into my veggie burrito, it was delicious up until halfway through when I bit into a hard chunk of non-ripe avocado. I took the avocado chunk out of my burrito only to realize that that chunk was literally all what my guacamole was. What little bit was left over in my burrito was soft, but it was just raw avocado. Thankfully, I got the veggie burrito so the guacamole wasn't an extra charge, but I'm disappointed that my burrito's filling was shortened by the chunk of avocado. Guacamole eaters beware. read more

If I could put a lower rating I would.. it's really crappy when you plan your day around your night schooling and get all the way out to the restaurant just to find out that they closed an hour early when it's not posted anywhere that they were going to close earlier. I had been given a gift card to Chipotle Grill. I went on August 14th 2015 at approximately 8 PM. I ordered the steak burrito and added guacamole. I noticed that my server's pans were very low on rice, both brown and white, and the steak cubes were pretty low also... She was scraping the bottom of the barrel to put my burrito together. My steak burrito came to $10.50. The guacamole, I found out, was two dollars - 20% of the cost of my expensive burrito was for a small measured serving of guacamole! Really!? AYFKM? Every time I encountered one of the steak cubes in my burrito, they were tough and chewy and I actually ended up having to spit them out. As I continued "eschewing" the tough steak cubes, I realized I had been served a completely unacceptable burrito, especially considering the $10 and 50 Cent cost. I debated going up to the counter and complaining, maybe I should've done it, but I didn't. I found it very annoying that Chipotle Grill does not have a ground beef option... I find that to be incredulous. Chipotle Grill is supposed to be so careful and well known for the quality of their ingredients, and I found the quality control for this visit was completely unacceptable, At least at this location for that particular night. I will burn out the remaining $14.50 left on my gift card at another location of the Chipotle Grill and provide a review - Hopefully, I will have a better experience to relate! If I have anything resembling the low-quality of this visit again you better believe I will be marching to see the manager on duty. read more

I go out of my way to go to this location. I'm a huge fan of chipotle and go way too often and have had some bad experiences at other locations. I wouldn't say this location is perfect but their staff definitely makes up for it! Everyone is very friendly and if I have any issues with my meal they make it right which is what keeps me coming back. This location has more than enough seating so finding a table isn't an issue. Parking isn't an issue as well since it's in a shopping center, very easy to access and get to. read more

Whenever I come here the food is mediocre, and service is the worst. If you ask for something special they will refuse to do it, such as getting plain tomatoes, whereas at the chipotle in Plainfield they will gladly do it for you. This chipotle has so many problems with rude service and the workers being dismissive along with rushing which in turn makes them mess up the orders. I ordered a chicken bowl online, and paid for said chicken bowl and got a bowl WITHOUT chicken. Place is usually messy. Ive seen staff members chat rudely about customers in front of other customers, I understand its good to have conversation with other employees but keep talk like that to a minimum when there are other customers around that can clearly hear. If you want good service and good food I highly recommend taking the extra time to drive to Plainfield and go to the Chipotle over there. read more

The food was good. Had the chicken taco all in all they were not bad. What makes me uneasy about this location is the two cooks in the grill area. The gentleman has done 3 things that I've seen that are BIG NO NO's. 1. Eating while cooking (no gloves on hands so he is touching food and his mouth). Didn't wash hands 2. Scratched his leg while standing at the grill and proceeded cooking. (Again no gloves). Didn't wash hands. 3. Yet again no gloves and scratched his forehead and began cooking. Didn't wash hands. It's the unconscious things you do as a cook that are health violations, he is a decent cook based on the food but the board of health would have a fit with him. The other cook has been drinking and eating by the grill and fryers, as well as not wearing gloves. And never washed her hands. read more

Everytime I did come to this location it was good...but, recently it's been going downhill. One of my coworkers goes and gets salad and the past few times she has gone they've been out of dressing. Now, the past two times I have gone they put sour cream on my burrito bowl when I'm not asking for it. When I do say something about the unwanted sour cream they throw a fit. So then I just suck it up and try and pick out as much sour cream as I can, but if you know chipotles sour cream is thinner in consistency so this task is almost impossible. Had the choice of either Qdoba or Chipotle - went with Chipotle. As I watched my burrito bowl get loaded up, which is a bit of an overstatement, I regretted my decision. Maybe I'm just used to Qdoba's huge bowls or I was right in thinking that my bowl at Chipotle was just not so huge. The sour cream and cheese made up half of the bowl's contents (yuck) Also, the dining area was super dirty. It did not look as if the tables had been cleaned in quite some time. We ate our food and were gone well within an hour of closing, but the staff seemed as though their main concern was getting ready to close. Overall, pretty unsatisfied with this trip to Chipotle and do not see myself returning any time soon. read more

I used to work at a Chipotle, so I tend to have some pretty high standards when it comes to the world of quick-service burritos (heck, one of the reasons my wife and I moved to Avon as opposed to another of the 'burbs is because they have a Chipotle). I know how it should be done and can easily spot when it isn't being done right. That said, I give this particular location 4 of 5 stars. Their line is usually clean, most of the items fresh, and the store neat and well kept. Really, the only area in which they tend to fall flat is speed. Even a short line seems to throw them off their game and I find myself thinking back to the days when I did their job more efficiently than they're managing. But that's a small gripe. I go often and plan to continue to do so (but all the while praying they aren't busy). read more

My boyfriend and I love Chipotle. We love burritos of any kind, as a matter of fact. This Chipotle is not the best one I have been to, but the vast majority of the time, the food and customer service are wonderful. Last night was my only bad experience. I came in 20 minutes before closing, and things were in a bit of disarray. I completely understand this, because I have worked in food service more than any other job. I absolutely hate coming in to a restaurant within the last half hour, because I know how it feels to serve customers when I could be prepping to close up shop. My issue is with the girl with the green (teal?) stripe in her hair. I was not my best last night, but I was nowhere near a nightmare customer. I complained a bit too much, and was very frustrated to find out they had no guac left. One of the employees turned to another and said they shouldn't have taken the sign down, as they had been out of guac for a while. I turned to my boyfriend and jokingly said this was the worst Chipotle experience I had ever had. I didn't think I said it loud enough for anyone to hear, but next thing I know, this girl is going off on me. She then made the excuse that the guac had only been gone for five minutes, and that it wasn't their fault. If my night was bad, this made it worse. It put me on edge for the rest of the night. I understand running out of ingredients, but you shouldn't tell a customer a bold-faced lie. You never know when you will get caught. If there is anything I value most, it is good customer service, even in the face of a tough customer. If I were the worst customer I ever had to deal with, I would feel blessed. I'm basically done with chipotle forever. Even with the recent outbreaks of making people sick, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and continued being a patron. Last time I was there, I uncovered a whole avocado peel in my guacamole. Annoying, but not the end of the world. Tonight, while eating a burrito bowl (because they claimed to be out of lettuce due to a "shortage" that I hadn't experienced elsewhere) I picked an entire piece of plastic out of my mouth from the food. When approached with said plastic, the workers grinned and provided a "bogo" coupon, then proceeded to play with the piece of plastic inside of a cup in front of other customers. Um, no. Chipotle is a great quick service option and this location is no exception. Jeremy M's review basically nails it. Not the fastest service but the workers are friendly and they make great food!
