Worst Chipotle I've ever been to. I don't hardly ever leave a review. The experience was so bad I had to warn others. First they were out of a number of things and service was slow and they weren't even that busy. No ice. The seating area was the dirtiest I've ever seen any fast foot restaurant - all tables dirty not wiped down,food all over the floor. Will not be back to this location. read more

What could improve? Everything! Just survived probably the worst lunch experiences ever. The person working the order line barely spoke english. The menu board is very difficult to navigate and the people serving were of no help since they had difficulty with the language. So we mostly had to point and shake our heads. The add-on costs were bank-breaking and come without prior warning. Moreover, the dining room was filthy. Every table was dirty...every one, and there were only a few patrons in sight. Of all the locations this is one of our favorite. Mainly because they move their line quick compared to other locations. We enjoy the bowls. There are several different meat toppings you can choose from or you can go totally vegan. Their guacamole is very tasty. Their cheese is a white cheese, but it taste like American cheese. The sour cream is a little different than your typical sour cream. It's not thick and doesn't taste like typical sour cream, so I pass on that. But if you like trying different things, give it a try. Another thing to remember is, there is an up charge for guacamole, and for queso. My daughter always gets the vinaigrette, and that is also an up charge.( thanks to it going viral in TikTok) Reason for four star versus five star is they need to do a better job on cleanliness. The serving area, tables, and drink station would be a three star on cleanliness. Overall a great experience and the food is always very tasty. I am still a fan of this Chipotle. My go to meals are the chicken bowl or chicken salad. If you have never been to a Chipotle it like a Mexican Subway where you walk down the line and pick what you want. I love it. I get what I want. For me it's always white rice, black beans, chicken, green salsa on the side, lettuce, sour cream and cheese. They also have plenty of options for the kids. And high chairs. Chipotle also has an app with a rewards program. Every time you eat there you get points and with the points you get free food items. My daughter and I were working on the west side and were looking for a good lunch. Upon arriving to the order counter, we were greeted by an employee who was fully attentive to our order. My daughter just wanted a burrito with chicken and cheese. When we went up to the register, they called out our order but it sounded different than a "burrito with chicken and cheese" so I made sure to let them know what we got. I discovered a few minutes later that they charged us for the tortilla and the chicken instead of a full burrito, thus saving me money. I couldn't believe how kind (and FAIR!) that was when it would have been super easy to charge us full price. So thankful for that! The only reason I'm giving this four stars is because the restroom really could use some tidying and cleaning up. read more

Terrible experience. They accused me of being a criminal! I went here for lunch, and when I went to pay, I gave them a $50 bill. The cashier told me it was a counterfeit. Upon giving him another, he claimed that it, too, was counterfeit. He then instructed me to use a different form of payment. I responded that they were not counterfeit but that I would use my card. After payment was processed, I noted that I didn't received the drink I had ordered. He claimed that I did not order a drink, and another worker told him to simply give me one, implying that it would leave me to be on my way. I informed him that I didn't need his charity and will pay. I was rather insulted at the insinuation that (1) I was a criminal and (2) I was looking for a handout! I'm a regular there. It was quite embarrassing, as the other customers in line were all looking at me as if I were some kind of vagrant. I went to the bank from there to verify the authenticity of the "counterfeit" bills and Chase told me that they probably just didn't want to change a $50! Then simply tell me that! I ordered my food to-go and when I got home there was a dead fly in it. I know accidents happen and flies are everywhere, but this fly was clearly visible right on top of the sour cream and was packaged inside of the to-go container. Luckily Chipotle was very understanding and I immediately got a refund. read more

Whole company has gone downhill. They now give you chips in a tiny bag with maybe 6 chips in it. Ask for "extra" anything, and they just don't bother. Not to mention the service is always slow. Very inconsistent portions. Some employees act like the amount they serve you is coming right out of their pocket. Recently was in line and guy in front was waited on by a different employee who served what I considered a normal size portion. This place is terrible! When you go to order a bowl, every time I go here, I have to ask for a little extra meat because someone is definitely telling them to ration it out. You always have to ask for a bit more because for what you spend the amount they give you is ridiculous and insulting. I literally went and they gave me a half spoonful and when I asked for a bit more she literally picked 2 pieces up with the spoon. They load you up on rice and everything else super generously, but when it comes to the protein, they ration it out almost like the manager is preaching it to make a better bonus. Something is definitely off. Thank god for the new location in Avon because this location has went down the tubes! We stopped here for lunch while in the middle of a roadtrip. We've found Chipotle rather uneven in terms of service and food quality but thought we'd take a chance since we are unfamiliar with the area. Since we had our dog with us, my daughter ordered and brought the food back to the car. She ordered a veggie bowl but was told there was no sofritas. Disappointed. Ive been a Chipotle enjoyer for yeaaaars. I used to love chipotle so much id want it all the time but the quality has deteriorated severely especially in service. The last time i had chipotle is put me off so bad i didn't want to have it for almost a year. This past week i got a craving at work and thought i should give it another chance. I tried to have some door dashed and my order was immediately cancelled, which was whatever, it happens fine. Today rolls around and I still want some chipotle, im tired and dont want to go out so i try to doordash myself chipotle from this location. The order was canceled again, immediately. Here is my 1st complaint - Why is Chipotle even listed on Door dash if the store isn't accepting orders? I found it strange as well because when i went in to get food, there were orders waiting on the Pick up/delivery shelf?- I decided to go in because i was so hungry and wanted chipotle really badly. I go in and the person behind the counter had some kind of off putting energy like he didn't want to help me- that honestly couldn't really fully be on him because it seemed like they were short staffed (but not struggling to keep up) which i understand as someone from the restaurant industry. There wasn't a very warm greeting or much acknowledgment at all besides just wanting to get through my order.he seemed to not really be able to hear me over the music. I had to repeat myself a lot and he still didn't get my order right unfortunately. At the end I asked for 2 Large drinks and an extra tortilla for my boyfriend's burrito bowl. I asked about 3 times for the tortilla and didn't get any verbal confirmation or acknowledgment of my request. I was given 2 regular sized cups (luckily i wasn't charged for large drinks). I got my extra tortilla but it was after i paid and walked away to fill my cups up was gearing up to leave. At that point I had already cut my losses and just wanted to go home and eat but the guy came up to me and gave me the tortilla. Lastly and most importantly, My burrito was really small for a chipotle burrito :( At a certain point i asked for more steak on the burrito because it looked tiny. After more was added i just thought maybe my perspective was just making the burrito look smaller but once i looked at the size, it was basically the size of a taco bell burrito....... and in my mind what was i supposed to do? Complain about a small burrito and get charged more for one the normal chipotle burrito size? Most of the time the people rolling the burritos really gotta stuff the burrito into the foil but he just rolled it up really quick. usually when im eating a chipotle burrito its a two handed struggle (in a good way). I was able to casually eat this on my couch with one hand. sitting back in my seat. with nothing to catch extra burrito bits. on the bright side it wasn't a sloppy mess, but it could have been a sloppy delicious mess :( I wanted a sloppy delicious mess :( Usually at about 2/4 or 3/4 of the way thru my burrito i am stuffed and save the rest for tomorrow. i nearly never finish a chipotle burrito in one setting but this time i was able to eat it all and still be hungry. I cant believe i paid $10 for a burrito this small and unsatisfying. If your asking why i ate it please refer to the first paragraph. Also it was 3 at this point and i hadn't eaten all day. i was starving. im sated but i will probably be hungry in an hour or two. my burrito was mostly cold and the tortilla was kind of hard as opposed to the normal warm soft tortilla you usually get :( I really wouldn't reprimand the worker who served me because i understand completely that he may have not been able to hear me and i probably couldn't hear him. So this location should probably turn their music down a few notches to help everyone out. I probably won't be eating at chipotle for a long time though if not ever again after this experience. waste of money. very sad read more

When I said that is enough please. We said I will be back. And left me at the counter. He then came back and put a small helping of chicken in the bowl. He was very unfriendly and so was the person ringing me out. I have nothing but issues at this location. I never have an issue at the Plainfield location. Worst experience I have ever had at a Chipotle. I was trying to order food for my family and they refused to make half my order. I needed 2 chicken quesadillas and they refused to make them. They had everything to make them yet refused to. I tried being pushy and they got more and more rude. I then asked for the manager and the staff member that was being the most rude was the manager. None of them give a crap about there job. It is messy and not clean at all. Sad because I used to love going to this location but the last 6 months its been crap. I honestly think this location is racist and not in the way you're thinking. Most the staff is black and they will make anything for anyone that isn't white...they mouth off to white people and make things very difficult.
