The manager at the drive-through was one of the most disrespectful I have ever met. I was getting annoyed with the AI because we had re-ordered. I said I didn't want anything else in the AI asked me if I wanted a strawberry drink if I wanted a coffee if I wanted a chicken sandwich if I wanted to round up if I wanted this if I wanted that, so I started saying no annoyed to the AI because I that they could hear me and the lady comes on and starts yelling at me about how I don't need to be their ear. There were five other people in the car I was not and when I talked to an employee, she has done this before and he knew exactly who I was talking about also they gave us the wrong stuff. They were out of stuff and they've served me raw biscuits like so raw that I could play with the dough like putty. This is Bojangles' store #24 located in Boone, not far from the Appalachian State University campus. This is the dirtiest Bojangles' I've been in and it's not even close. The staff didn't seem to care. The dining room was a mess with all sorts of trash on the floor, several uncleaned tables, and a filthy self-serve tea counter. At least the food was good - it's the only reason why I'm giving this place 3 stars. We got our orders to go. We ordered a 12-piece chicken and 6 biscuits box for $18.99. It was a good deal. We ordered all dark meat chicken and got 6 drumsticks and 6 thighs. They were crispy, crunchy, flavorful, and juicy. They really hit the spot. The biscuits were yummy as well. They were warm, soft, flaky, and buttery; just scrumptious all-around. We also got picnic-sized (largest size) orders of green beans and seasoned fries for $3.19 apiece. The green beans were alright. They could've used more flavor. The fries were terrific. I believe Bojangles' uses some sort of Cajun spice blend on their fries. We had to wait a while for the fries because a new batch had to be cooked fresh. Coincidentally, I ran into this exact same problem earlier in the day at another Bojangles'. (Yes, I had Bojangles' twice in one day.) One of my buddies got a 4-piece Chicken Supremes combo for $6.69. Chicken Supremes are basically boneless chicken tenders made with breast meat. For a short time this location got better but now it's taking another turn for the worse. Slowest drive-through in town. I'm talking 20 minutes to serve 4 to 5 cars. I haven't seen the dining room open in months, which makes the drive-through line even longer. Maybe it would all be worth it if the food was really good but I've been to this location for the last time because they always burn the biscuits. Last two times it was inedible and went in the trash so I'm done here. Lower quality food, slower service, higher prices. Bad combination. read more

I know this is a fast food restaurant, but they have delicious fried chicken! There was three of us, and we ordered the 12 piece tailgater, which came with 3 sides, 6 huge yummy biscuits and a half gallon of sweet tea, for $21.79. We asked if we could trade out the tea for an extra side, and they said no problem, so we got pint size servings of mashed potatoes with a separate container of sausage gravy, red beans, collards, and mac and cheese. It was our first time there, so the manager brought over to our table 3 blueberry biscuit like desserts drizzled with sugar icing. Don't go by old reviews, this place was very clean, and the service was friendly and accommodating. We had plenty left over chicken for another meal, plus enough to make 3 huge fried chicken salad sandwiches for our trip back to Florida. Great tasting crispy juicy fried chicken! Yum. Just what we needed. The drive-thru line was wrapped around the entire building so we parked and went in. There wasn't a long line inside; most of the diners were already seated. Worst fast food experience I've ever had in my life. They were very vague with the descriptions of the meals and we didn't even get the right food!
