We get delivery from here about once a week via their website, and it's wrong about half the time. This time, none of our bowls had lettuce even though we asked for extra lettuce for all of them They also consistently skimp on portion sizes. Tonight, I paid for double meat in all our bowls, and none of them had the double portion. The steak bowl had only 3.2 ounces of steak - yes, it was so paltry looking that I weighed it at home. I don't know why they skimp on the meat so much, especially when I'm *paying* for extra. Maybe it's an attempt at cost saving? Joke's on them, though: Every time it happens, I take a picture and contact corporate customer service - and I usually get a credit or refund. But wouldn't it be easier for all of us if they could just get it right the first time? read more

We ordered online. We got the message that the order was ready. When we arrived to pick it up it wasn't out. We waited several minutes, then I asked the ice fellow at the counter. He said it's probably in the way up. A total of almost 20 minutes and finally the order arrived. At this point there were several people waiting for their orders. During our wait I saw the reason for the delay. The lady making to go orders was too busy walking in the phone and half heartedly making orders. Here's the contents of my first review: "Yay, no longer do I have to schlep it to West Hartford for a burrito bowl fix anymore! Chipotle is a great addition to the Shoppes at Farmington Valley, it fits the slightly upscale air pretty well. Having just opened, service was pretty efficient and the employees were fairly on top of their game - albeit basically tripping over one another in the assembly line. Compared to other Chipotles I have been to in West Hartford, Mass, and Virginia, the seating here is a little cramped, but not outrageously so. They don't sell beer or margaritas yet - the liquor license is still pending - however, when it is official, I highly recommend the margarita, for $4 - I had it at a Chipotle in Framingham, MA and it was pretty strong - and not bad for $4. I love the burrito bowls.It's the contents of a burrito flopped into a bowl, no wrap. Chicken, Carnita, or Barbacoa you can't go wrong. (I can't remark to vegetarian, I haven't had a vegetarian anything at any Chipotle ever.) Personally, I get a bag of chips and guacamole (Yes, the guacamole is $2 more at Chipotle, but it's worth it) and turn the burrito bowl into loaded nachos/dip the chips in the burrito bowl goodness. Even though the burritos are $7ish, you can't really complain - yes, it's more expensive than say a piddly bean burrito at Taco Bell, but these burritoes are MONSTROUS. I think once they've been open a while and the staff refines the routine and quits tripping over each other behind the counter, Chipotle will do just fine at the Shoppes. I'm glad there's another quick eat place in the area that isn't total garbage for you." I love, love, love the food here, but sometimes the customer service is lacking. I mobile order exclusively because I find it easier to customize large orders for my family this way. Lately, I've had to wait 30-40 minutes past the expected pick-up time. To chipotle's credit, they are always extremely accommodating when I call the corporate phone number; however, this doesn't erase the fact that I've waited extremely long times for my orders. Nevertheless, I still enjoy this Chipotle much more than others I've been to! read more

This used to be such a great place. I go here a couple times a month with a group of my friends. The last 3 times I've been here it's been horrible and after my last visit I honestly doubt I'll be back for a while. It seems they have changed staff in the last month or two, and they appear to be incompetent and clearly have not retained any training they may or may not have been given. The food is bland, besides the rice which is LOADED with cilantro. The white rice is always mixed in to the brown. They barely give you any toppings now too. I as well as my two friends and a random stranger behind me in line had to ask 3 times for more cheese to get an appropriate amount. I'm honestly sad. I gave it 3 chances before leaving this review. I'll be back in a couple months to see if anything has changed. read more

This Chipotle location was just disrespectful. The lack of care for customers is unmatched. We waited in line for 20+ minutes as the employees fulfilled online orders and chatted. It is important to note that there was only 3 customers ahead of us in line when we arrived at the location. The employee who served us food was very very light handed and we had to ask for more than 3 beans in our bowl. read more

The service is poor and the servers are not at all professional. The veggies and sidings were not fresh it was soggy. Even one of the bowl was not properly closed. It opened while putting into the bag and I have to tell them to fix it. Even some of the sides was not in the order and also specifically asked to not have salsa in one but I guess not paying attention. Fix time estimates on app for mobile orders. Waited 30+ minutes multiple times. I find this Chipotle location to be pretty good in terms of food quality. Good portions, adequate customer service. However, when I mobile order, the pick-up time is incredibly inaccurate. I understand the restaurant is busy sometimes and waits may be longer, but they need to fix this issue and provide accurate estimates for wait times. Not sure if this is an issue with this location or all Chipotles. No reason that it is 1:45 when my food was estimated to be ready at 1:10 on the app. Not the first time this has happened. read more

Best burrito I've had in a long time minus the fact they didn't have any guacamole will go again definitely. the service was fast and reliable. This evening my fiancé and I went in for our favorite salads. We were SO disappointed at the very small amount of meat they provided. Though the food tasted good, we were both still very hungry after our meal. It's upsetting because even just two weeks ago we had salads from the same location that were great. Had a burrito with Carnitas, and basically all the fixings. The pork was very nicely seasoned! A first for me at Chipotle -- I don't know if they updated their recipe (I typically visit maybe twice a year since I don't eat out much), or perhaps the person in charge of the pork today was a genius. The gentleman that made my burrito up wrapped it expertly, and was friendly, with a smile! The salsa & chips left a little to be desired, but it was after 8:00 at night. I work late, so I've grown to accept that, at ANY restaurant, I may not always get the best, most fresh representation of some menu items. read more

Food is absolutely amazing 10 out of 10 would recommend but the service is never good and the people making burritos are always slower than a snail. If you're going to get food, go in and wait in line because if you get it through the online app, you will be waiting 30 minutes to an hour longer than you expected and you'll have to wait in the dimwitted cold, non-comfortable chipotle and you will no longer be hungry at the point where you just want your food and nothing else. read more

So sad. I love chipotle and it was really good except for the bloody raw steak. There was actual blood in the steak and I'm scared to see if I get sick or not. They charged more to the bill without authorization. I had a terrible experience. The manager checked my order to find out if I was charged additional in from of my wife and customers. It was a terrible, terrible experience being a person with latino background living with my wife in West Simsbury, CT and regular customer in Canton. The manager apologized for this kind of aggression from Chipotle's employees, but the emotional aggression was done already. I will not go to that particular place anymore. read more

For years I have dined at this establishment. As long as I can remember, food was always in stock, and the service was permissible. The servers for the most part are kind and adequately do their job. As a weekly customer, I rarely have an issue with the service. It is always speedy. The only thing I do wish is for the serving portions (meat in particular) to be more consistent. Though the seating space can be limited at times, I personally, have never had a trouble finding a spot to eat. Nevertheless, Chipotle is delicious. read more

I've been going to this location for while now. I went here today for lunch and saw something that's disappointing. The female cashier who was there a lunch today kept grabbing people cups for the fountain drinks from under counter was grabbing the cups with her fingers inside of the cups after handling the dirty cash and register and had NO GLOVES ON. Apparently she can't bend down further and grab the cups from the out side of the cup. Come on people SERIOUSLY??? GROSS. Time for some training. read more

No social distancing whatsoever, order thru the app so you don't have to deal with it, pick a time that gives them plenty of time never the 'quickest' and never even close to ready so you have to sit around for 15-20 in a packed restaurant. Maybe I'm a little biased because back in the day I used to be a chipotle employee but in my opinion they're way better than Moe's. I know everything here is made fresh all day everyday. I always get great service and my food is always delicious. My only complaint is that I wish the bowls were a little bigger. The portion hey give you is great but I feel like when trying to eat out of it you end up making a mess because there's not enough room to mix my food around and get a bite out of everything. read more

Ordered online for the first and last time. Chips (the few that were in my "large" side order) were very very stale. Careless packaging caused spillage of all sauces on the way home. Website and staff at the Canton CT location made it impossible to use a gift card on this visit. Asked for assistance over the phone and in person but was told that I could only come back and order in person to use the gift card. Poor service and lack of attention to detail with the food in the order are the reasons I will never go to any of these locations ever again. The 2 stars are for the customer service, not the food. Food is good. The service is crap, teenagers who clearly hate their jobs, dump food sloppily, don't listen and then get huffy when they have to redo the order because they weren't paying attention. Employee handling the checkout looked at the chipotle bucks I gave her and said she'd never seen them before so they must be fake. These things are clearly real and made by chipotle, but she accused me of having fake coupons. I use these all the time and have never had an issue before. I can understand when food runs out or its late at night so you're not getting the most fresh ingredients but bad customer service is a choice she made.
