It was absolutely horrible! The meat portions were as small as a finger nail and the guacamole was frozen to the core. It was horrible. Don't forget that the drink machine wasn't working and there was nothing noted that it was broken. So we spent $3 each on drinks we didn't even get. I mean that's pretty bad for a chipotle. At least the staff gave us some bottled drinks but for the price of a fountain. The manager didn't even say something as she was too busy chatting and not doing her job. I'll get it out the way my food wasn't bad. But the experience was horrible. I went to simply get a salad bowl for myself and a burrito bowl for my wife. We'll start there I heard Chipotle cut back on portions so that's corp I guess but the lady who fixed the order used the chicken spoon to fix the steak. So if somebody is allergic or has dietary restrictions that could be an issue glad it wasn't me. Next up after the order was finished I needed chips and to my surprise chips were only for call in order. The young lady said none were prepped but that's strange because their is a staff of about 8 people 4 working and the other 4 singing Usher "there goes my baby" by all means have fun at work but do your job. To add to the disappointment there was no dressing for the salad due to prep. This frustration comes from my last visit when they had no cheese. To top it off the soda station was atrocious with ice overflowing the drainage looking terrible. Like I said the food was good even without the chips and dressing but the management needs to be addressed and the staff needs to be held accountable. We had a 15 minute drive, and waited an additional 30 minutes before our order was even started. The method the employee used to make the food was asinine. She started about 15 orders and had them all laid out at various stages and ever finished any. The orders only got finished when another employee came over and started finishing and bagging them. I have been to many chipotles in my lifetime. I have spent upwards of 5000 dollars across my career of eating chipotle. I even once ate a quesadilla, burrito, and bowl in one sitting. The employees didn't have positive attitudes and if you asked for more portions or anything extra there would be a bad attitude, even with the line to the door. This location was extremely dirty. Trash was overflowing, counters wasn't being cleaned as the orders were being prepped. The utensils weren't being stocked. So much for trying a new location of Chipotle. The staff at the Garners Ferry Road location in Columbia, SC was not a good experience to purchase from. Specifically the young lady preparing the entrées. The gentleman at the front of the line was in training and doing his best. She was not very helpful to him other than to snap AT HIM. Once he finished the first section of the salad bowl, he then passed to her and she rudely interrupted at least three times as I was asking her to drain the tomato juice from the tomatoes before putting it on my bowl. I will not come back to this location. I'm not opposed to eating Chipotle however I will make the trek across town to go to a location with employees who want to help the customer instead of rudely cutting them off. read more

I stopped by this chipotle after doing some shopping is a close by shopping center. It was right around the lunch rush so there was a good line almost out the door. I decided to see it through and waited in line. To my surprise, the line went much faster than I thought. The staff was visibly working hard and trying to get through the rush. They also maintained quality customer service and kept up their levels of efficiency. The food also tasted great and was very well put together. This place is basically the best. This might as well be our second home. The entire staff knows our family so this review may be biased but we get treated like family. The staff and management is kind and helpful. They know our normal orders and how we like our food made. The window seating is always our favorite so you can eat AND people watch. We basically just live on the chicken and/or barbacoa burrito no rice (lo carb life!) and it usually lasts 2 meals so we get good ROI. My kid stocks up on thier cookies. She loves the kids pick your own option. Makes it so we never have to argue about where to go for dinner since we all have something we enjoy here! read more
