This location is hit or miss. Some servers give you a normal portion of meat while others are stingy. We always watch them scooping out the guac while we are in line to decide if we should get it on the side (we usually end up getting the guac on the side since it ends up being a bigger portion than the triple tapped scoop). We've heard several people, on different visits, ask for more guac and the server say they would have to charge more. If it's lunch or dinner, rush be prepared to wait. The location in the mall is faster and more consistent with their portions. But, this location is conveniently located right off the highway. Finally, the hours say they are open until 10pm but they ran out of chicken before 9pm on our last visit. Definitely not recommended if you are looking for a late night dinner. read more

Ugh.. Third strike I am out Where to begin.. This is our third attempt since they opened and not one time has it it met Chipotle standards. We are never trying this location again. Such a shame. Cold, mushy meat, missing ingredients EVERY TIME, hard rice, chips were soft and not crisp, asked for double portions on vegetables and meat and neither time did they follow through despite being charged extra. The food itself was good, but the people behind the counter were terrible. We waited with no one in front of us for acouple of minutes, sounded like there was a lot of confusion between the workers. Someone would start to help us and then go to someone else. Not to mention, I took my burrito out of the tin foil and it was already unfolded. Tables were dirty, with food all over. read more

I would be thrilled if this Chipotle could, just once, have my order ready by the time promised on the app, with all of the ingredients I requested. The last several times I have ordered on the app, I have shown up a few minutes after the time promised, only to find no order on the shelf. Eventually one of the workers glances up and sees me waiting, asks what my name is, and then prepares my order, which ends up being ready a good 10-15 minutes or so AFTER the time promised on the app. And recently, they keep running out of ingredients. Yesterday, they had run out of steak and queso. The previous time, they were out of queso and guacamole. This place has been very disappointing of late, especially compared to the other Chipotle locations. read more

Go to any other chipotle ! We've been to chipotle all over the US. and never been told that they charge extra for beans. But this location insisted we pay $1.10 extra for an extra scoop - in the veggie bowl- I can go to the store and buy beans for less that a $1 so why on earth would I pay that? So to make sure we weren't crazy we called a local chipotle and they said that is not a rule and they can't demand that. Even worse is when we left they laughed at us and gave us the finger. I was extremely impressed by this brand new location in New Milford CT. I picked up my order just before closing & all was perfect. I had the quesadilla, perfectly prepared. Generous side of guac included. Staff was extremely pleasant and customer focused at what was probably the end of a busy day. I don't even know why some of these other reviews are linked to this store-- it only opened March 2021. They're bogus. I'm so glad I have a Chipotle 10 mins away! read more

I'm usually a huge fan of Chipotle and never have a complaint but this location on Mill Plain Rd sucks! The staff was slow and the server skimped on the food. I had to ask 3 times for her to put more...it was ridiculous and the bowl still looked empty. I left frustrated and when I went to it the meat was very salty. Arrived to a disgusting lobby food all over the tables and floor. Trash cans over flowing to the brim. And it was not busy at all, so who knows how long the lobby was in this state. When we ordered there was VERY inappropriate rap music being blasted from the back. Against the corporate approved music playing from the speakers. Which would have been fine for me but I was there with my whole family and my little 2 and 5 year old siblings had to shout over the loud profanity to tell us what they wanted to eat. There was no way they didn't know it was wrong to blast inappropriate rap music. They knew we could hear it but I'm sure they didn't care. I have been going to this location in Danbury for years now, never has there been a time where everything in my order is available. This store is always missing items, no matter what time of day it is. This location claims they open at 1045 am but on multiple occasions, my friends and I have gone at around 11-1130 even 1230 and they have not been opened. Even today, I went to pick up my order and there were 5 other customers who said their pickup was supposed to be ready by 530 meanwhile it was 550. Did I mention the fountain machine was unavailable meanwhile they gave me a cup in my bag? SMH. I give these workers the benefit of the doubt as they look to be in their teens to early 20's and working a minimum wage job but the least that they can do is be nice as I am to them. In conclusion, I'm giving this location a 2/5 when there should be a 0/5 option. People agree that this location is dirty, slow, and just a hot mess. Worst one in Danbury - don't even get me started on the one next to Danbury Mall. Managers and owners - Do better !! Especially for your workers and for your customers read more

That guy who wrote the review an hour ago was spot on... the dude with the ponytail means well and i feel bad writing this but he should not be working with customers. He looks and acts like he's high on drugs doesn't know what you're ordering ok that's not cool but I'll bear with you. BUT he decides to tell my girlfriend and I all I do is eat rice while I'm here I love rice and my girlfriend says you should eat some chicken get some protein he says "oh no I wouldn't eat the meat from here" with this grin on his face what the hell??? Have never had an issue with the food, always good. But have had some less than friendly servers during busy times. If you can't be pleasant with the people you are serving then perhaps you need to find another job where you don't have to service the public! Clean facility during peak two thumbs up. Josh on the line always rolls the best burrito I've ever had at any chipotle.

Staff are fine, wait usually isn't too bad, food doesn't usually look like it has been sitting for hours even in off times. Biggest issue is that I have noticed their portion size is unusually small. I'm not quite crazy enough to bring in a ruler but their burritos are noticeably shorter than other locations. read more

I have been to this chipotle location twice. First time was in the beginning stages of this location so I get having a new staff and the hiring process but on both occasions I have gone to this location my burrito has been rolled so poorly that I might had well asked for a bowl instead. I'm not saying it's the employees fault either it could very well be poor training that isn't showing the proper way and with such heavy customer volume the employees get frazzled. I haven't been to this location in about two years. Back then my only complaint was that all the tables were always filthy, and I mean always. My latest visit ensures I will not be back. They are only allowing usage of about 1/3 of their tables and they still can't me keep them clean. The tables not in use had a disgusting film of wipe marks on them.. clearly wiped down with dirty water. I ordered a salad bowl. The girl helping me put brown lettuce in my bowl.. I mean, every piece had rusty brown spots. When I asked for fresh lettuce, she looked bothered but looked for some in a nearby fridge, and in the back. They had none. She offered me the shredded taco lettuce, to which I agreed. She then proceeded to grab the lettuce with her gloved hands.. that had already touched handles, doors, etc. I was disgusted. This place is filthy, managed poorly, and clearly doesn't take health precautions seriously. I wish I had taken a picture to post as well. So gross. read more

The food was fine, but...the place was beyond filthy when we stopped in today. Every table was encrusted with food, the area where you fill your drinks and get napkins was in complete disarray, the trash cans were overflowing and the floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. The cashier was nice enough to clean off a table and some chairs for us, but we were totally grossed out. When we got home, my husband wrote to corporate headquarters to complain, and that's something he never does. The extra star is because the food is actually tasty. read more

Hit or miss at this location. Sometimes food is fresh, and taste like your classic chipotle and place is clean. Others times, sofritas are way too spicy, guacamole has too much cilantro you don't even want to eat it and rice and beans are undercooked and hard! Not to mention when certain staff members are working you get half the normal portion of everything and if you ask for a little more they charge you for extra, when you're really just getting what you were supposed to get all along. Lot of staff are younger kids who are extremely unprofessional and rude. Place can be very dirty as well. I've been to my share of chipotles, but this is easily the worst of them all. Starting with the food... the guacamole half the time has that dark purple (been out way too long) look to it. Multiple times no hard shell tacos. The area where the food is an utter mess. It would be my mom's worst nightmare. If I ever brought her and she saw that, I'm sure she would ground all of them. While the food is questionable sometimes, if you compare the food to the staff... food isnt that bad. Outside of one very diligent lady, always asks how people's days are going...apologetic is something is wrong, outside of her... the other girl always has this sour look on her face like you are taking time away from her thinking about God knows what. She has been there for months and it always seems like it's her first day. Now the people who prep the food. Here its hit or miss. Sometimes they are your normal younger person working diligently. So happy we chose Chipotle for our working lunch today! Jen and her team whipped up a 20 person catering box (boxes) for us in under two hours! All the guys loved the change of pace from the normal place we order from. Plates, forks, napkins and serving pieces all included. So easy to set up and clean up! We will be back. read more

I was so excited when Chipotle came to Danbury! It's my favorite chain when I'm traveling and never disappoints. I've been to the Danbury location at least 10 times. Initially it was spot on, but over the last year it has gotten worse every time I come. The servers are not friendly and seem like they'd like to be anywhere else. There is typically one guy on the line and 3-4 running around the kitchen doing various things. Fine, unless there is a long line. I think the management needs to change. Every time I'm there, it seems as if no one is in charge and it's not well run with the customer in mind. The other issue is they are very skimpy on the toppings. Last night, I got a salad with guacamole which was about 1/4 of the normal amount given (based on my eating here for years across the country.) I also got 2 orders of chips & guac on the side. The guacamole cups were only filled 1/2 way. I told the guy it was very skimpy and he just looked at me and walked away. When I got home, realized the bags of chips were also about 1/2 the normal amount. I really want to see this location get better because it is so convenient for me. The food quality is good, but the management, customer service and consistency really need a lot of work! read more
