I went over to the drink station, fill up and XL cup and then went over to the register. It took some time here because I wanted an item from behind the counter. I have a feeling that even if I would have used the self checkouts, I would have been here a while. The person working the register had the utmost grave when dealing with people. I do not know how they were able to remain composed, but they navigated the dumb questions and entitlement that some of the customers had. Bravo.

There's a man who regularly goes through the trash here, specifically pulling out ATM receipts and lottery tickets. No one on staff has intervened or said anything to him despite this happening repeatedly. This is a real security concern -- those receipts can contain partial account information, and it's a vulnerability that shouldn't be ignored. I'd strongly encourage management to put a stop to this and shred those materials properly before disposal.

If they do this to enough customers, it is a win for them.Their customer service once again is horrible. So sadly I bid farewell to this chain which is healthier for me.

It is so odd, the inside of this location is well taken care of and newer looking. But it is obviously underused. The staff inside were fast and efficient. My order was correct. And even though they had a constant flow outside, they were fast with the service. I'm liking the turn back to the 80s here with the logo and crowns everywhere for the taking. Even with the newer interior it still feels like the Burger King of old.

Now we come to the heart of this review: Subway in Dunkirk, Maryland just after 9pm local time. Going south (I think?), you'll need to do some distant U-turns to get to this place and subsequently to get back en route. First impressions: clean, no bad smells, ok lighting, only a few soda straw wrappers crumpled near the trashcans, white and black kids in pj's staring at me (albeit I was wearing shocking blue shiny tights with an all-black outfit), and very dull, monotonous greetings and lackluster but thorough service from a bored, messy-haired employee. Hurriedly my eyes missed my standard Subway choice Veggie Delite, and out of my mouth piped, "Veggie Max." Being that I hadn't had Subway in a year, I guessed it was their name for the Veggie Delite, despite clearly headlined in its "Local Favorites" menu section. Anyway, the Veggie Max is a fake meat patty sandwich. This frightened me and I corrected my order with the help of my party. Maybe one of you have tried it, I dunno.
