Super good food and amazing service. The food was really well seasoned and the drinks were tasty and strong. The Al pastor tacos were very good.

This is the perfect place if you're looking for quick and inexpensive Mexican food. My family has visited this place a few times and the kids love filling up on the free chips and dip that come free, but I would definitely recommend ordering some of the white cheese to go with them! It is delicious and they give you a bunch so you can also pour some of the cheese on your meal. During this visit we tried their seasonal watermelon margarita and they are amazing! Its a must try, if you like to drink. My husband ordered the carne asada tacos and poured some of the white sauce on it....he finished those things quick!!! I had the huevos con chorizo lunch special (it came with wraps, which I didn't get in the attached picture). It was a huge portion for being a lunch special so I ended up taking half home for later. Everything was great! And even better, affordable!

Need a calm Taco Tuesday to go to? Then La Tolteca is the spot to go! My bestie and I got the birria taco special which was recommended by one of the locals, who seem excited this restaurant was seeing new customers. And for good reason because I'm sure I'm going to become a new regular with the tacos we stuffed our face with. If you not familiar with birria tacos, it's beef fried tacos packed with all of the heavenly goodness like chopped onions, cilantro, cheese and plenty of seasoning. The broth the beef was cooked in is used as a dipping sauce (which is to live for) paired with green salsa and Spanish rice. Top it off with a heavy handed margarita and your Taco Tuesday will be sufficient. The staff is extremely welcoming and courteous and kept our drinks full. I'll be back next Tuesday or tomorrow or any day that starts with a "T"!

The service is great! Our waitress was very kind and precise with our orders and also checked on us multiple times to see if we need anything throughout our meal. The food is delicious and flavorful! It was brought out quickly and is always hot, ready to eat soon after placing our order. The strawberry margarita was so good but the watermelon margarita has a flavor to be desired. The atmosphere is chilled and relaxed. Also, this is not a fancy restaurant. It is very homey and comfortable and I absolutely love this place.

The food came out super fast and piping hot, which we appreciated. We ordered the birria tacos and shrimp birria tacos. The flavor was good, but it did feel like the shrimp portion was a bit skimpy. Not enough shrimp just a lot of cheese. Also disappointed that they don't offer cocktails, which would really elevate the experience, so one star deducted for that. Still a good spot if you want quick, hot Tex-Mex with great service

Unfortunately, the queso was disappointing...,very watery and lacking any spice. I ordered a shrimp taco (without tartar sauce), and the shrimp was overcooked. My friend had the Fiesta Lime Chicken; if you order it, I recommend getting it without the chips, as mixing chips with grilled chicken and melted cheese created an odd texture. On a positive note, the beans...while a little soupy, were flavorful and included ground meat, and the pico was fresh and delicious. The rice tasted more like plain rice than traditional Spanish rice. We didn't order any drinks and stuck with water. Overall, I'd give this place 3 out of 5 stars. Since it was New Year's Day, I'm open to giving it another try to see if the experience improves.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and lively -- the kind of environment that immediately puts you in the mood for a great meal. We started with the queso dip, which was nothing short of phenomenal -- rich, creamy, and perfectly seasoned. It paired wonderfully with their fresh, crispy tortilla chips. The house margarita was another highlight; it had a perfect balance of flavor and strength, easily one of the best I've had in quite some time. For my entrée, I ordered the chicken quesadilla and added shrimp, and I have absolutely no complaints. The quesadilla was perfectly cooked -- golden on the outside, loaded with tender chicken, juicy shrimp, and melted cheese on the inside. The portion sizes were generous, leaving me more than satisfied by the end of the meal. The service was just as impressive as the food. Our server was attentive, friendly, and efficient, ensuring everything came out quickly and exactly as ordered. Overall, Don Eladio's Cantina is a must-visit spot for anyone in or passing through the King George area who's craving high-quality, authentic Mexican cuisine. I'll definitely be returning and highly recommend it to others looking for great food, drinks, and service.

The restaurant itself requires renovation especially the men's bathroom which had broken tiles and faucet fixtures. Upon entrance, we were seated quickly, and our waitress was incredibly attentive and polite throughout the entire meal. We ordered some drinks to start, and they were excellent--we really enjoyed them. For our appetizer, we got the single order of guacamole. Unfortunately, it wasn't great; it was mostly just lacking flavor and needed lemon. For our main courses, we went with tacos, which turned out to be a bit of a mixed bag: * Birria Quesatacos: By themselves, these were honestly not great. They absolutely needed to be combined with the provided dipping sauce to be palatable, and the meat itself lacked basic seasoning. * Steak Tacos: These were decent and definitely the better of the two orders, but like the birria, they still needed more seasoning to really bring out the flavor. Overall, the main courses weren't outstanding and we decided to forgo dessert entirely. It is a nice spot with fantastic service and great drinks, but the kitchen needs to step up the seasoning to match the high quality of the staff. I would rate this restaurant a 3.0
