The manager working at 6 pm on Sunday, Mar 21, 2026 should be fired. A after waiting in the drive-through for over 20 minutes, because the sign on the door said short staff drive-through only, I receive lukewarm chicken, potatoes that have been sitting so long the gravy dried up on them, and the chicken was hard and tough to eat. it is the managers responsibility to make sure that quality food is being served to the customers. Second review for this store. Drove to get one of their new chicken sandwiches and fries. Everything was cold. The fries were that level of cold and old with the texture of old potato chips, believe everyone has experienced this. The sandwich was a little better but you could tell it's been under the warmer for way too long. Melted cheese hardened up to that give you that plastic feel to your mouth. Chicken patty crust was soggy. The cheese should not be crunchier than the chicken. Even the tea tasted old. In a previous life I had been a fry cook and asst manager of another chicken chain. During the dead time between lunch and dinner you have to watch the quality of your food product closely. Tendency is to let the lunchtime food sit under the warmers until the dinner rush. We got 2 biscuits total when we should have had 6 and I don't think if we put all the fries together we can get a large fries ‍just terrible. I always go through the drive-thru window and, as such, can not attest to anything inside. However, when I pull up to the speaker box, I am quickly greeted by a friendly voice. With only one exception, they have managed to get my orders correct and, on the one time they messed up, they quickly made it right. I waited long enough to count 7 employees working before I had my order taken. Waited around 10 minutes to even order with only 2 people waiting for food including myself. Then waited another 6-7 mins for my order while they scramble around trying to find a door dashers order. Extremely unorganized and little respect. Then after getting my order I asked for sauce and the guy said "ok" then proceeded to do other things with a blank face. Then the manager walks up to me and ask "what do you want" in a sassy way. Quick and friendly drive thru service. The spicy chicken sandwich is absolutely worth the hype. The chicken on the sandwich was seasoned and fried beautifully with a nice little kick but not overwhelmingly hot. The pickles were nice a fresh with an awesome crunch! The sandwich comes together so perfectly from bun to bun and the sauce really sets it off. The fries were hot and seasoned well. I have done the feedback survey in the past and made verbal complaints with managers on duty on several occasions over the span of my years of living in Calvert County but experienced the same issues every time I visit. Today visit shows the staff just doesn't care about customer service nor customer retention. I am not a fan of this location. The wait is forever, whether there is one customer or 100 present. Courtesy of staff is hit or miss. Orders are consistently incorrect or missing items.
