The employees are "ok", not unfriendly, but not really making an effort to BE friendly, either. The food is very inconsistent. I typically order the barbacoa beef burrito. It is almost always short on meat, cheese, and fajita veggies. Over-emphasis on rice. The burritos are also MUCH smaller than they used to be. Reminds me of recent Subway offerings. My worst experience and worst meal at any Chipotle just happened here. Walked in and was greeted with a giant sign that said "unlock free guac". Scanned the QR, signed up, and was emailed a link. Then I proceeded to place my order with the free quac. At checkout, I told her I signed up for the free guac. The cashier Lourdes told me to scan the code. I check the signup email, there's a link for the free guac, clicked it and the link isn't working. She's giving me an attitude like I'm trying to score some free guac. Well yes, I am trying to get free guac, because your company advertised it. She then proceeds to tell the line worker to remove the guac. He scoops the guac as we as some other toppings. I'm sad that this Chipotle is such a disappointment. We've lived in Federal Way for 7 years, and every now-and-then, we'd stop by to see if there's any improvements made. Sadly, it still isn't the case. Usually, my husband and I would get two different meats to share: chicken and steak. One of the two meats would often "taste funny" or have a strange texture. It seems to be random on which one it would be, and that's why we'll get two. Most recently, I've been using a mobile ordering app. The consistent issue when I order a salad is: my chipotle honey vinaigrette would be missing. Like, 5 out of 5 times, a 100% ratio of inaccuracy. Each carrier has explained to me the process: the restaurant would hand the carrier my order, or leave it on the counter for pick up. I get that my carrier should've checked the order, but why can't Chipotle just be accurate with my order in the first place? It's a salad. It comes with dressing. I love the Chipotle brand as a whole, but this specific location simply a disappointment. Quality control definitely needs improvement. read more

I'm almost certain the workers name is Brian who was rushing our orders when no one was behind us. A family of four walked it once we were in the middle of ordering and Brian just threw stuff in the bowls and was pre-scooping before we said what was next. They ended up throwing chicken on my bowl when I said steak because they were pre grabbing spoon handles. It was chaotic for almost no reason. There were about six people in line once we got to the register and they weren't waiting for more than 45 seconds at that point. Brian just rushed everything and it was the saddest looking bowl I've ever received. It was distracting and unreasonable to move that fast before customers could even get words out. If their name isn't Brian then it's whoever is working the line right now 6/4/23 @1pm :( I am a patient person from working fast food and I usually give the benefit of the doubt but that was a horrible experience. This was my first time at Chipotle. I know I know, you're like....."hold da eff up! What did you just say?!? Hold....da eff...up" But no, I'm serious. I've never been to Chipotle. I usually go to Qdoba which is very similar. Anyway, this was a very pleasant experience. Everyone in this place looks happy even if they are not. It's a very simple assembly line type operation where they add the items you ask for as you move down the line. All the ingredients were very fresh looking and hot. Now for the taste. Every thing tasted as fresh as it looked. It had just the right amount of spice. I'm glad you can get whatever you like as a vegetarian. I got white rice with cilantro, pico di gallo, corn, black beans, onion/peppers mix, cheese, lettuce, and a huge scoop of guac. The guac was very fresh and tasty, very good. And I like to mix all my ingredients together and just slam it. Trying to get a little of everything in every little bit. Anyway, it was very good. The soda was good too. Really fizzy. Price is good too. Less than $10 for just a vegetarian bowl and a drink. Still like my Qdoba though....they've got an option for nachos there at least. Ordered chipotle online twice. My husband and I have no complaints in regards to our food.. but twice in a row have they fucked over my toddler. Their black and pinto beans are SPICY. Like way too spicy for a child to consume. And I ordered a guac quesadilla (guac on side), the quesadilla wasn't cooked, missing the guac and her beans are literally HOT in spice. If you're looking for soggy, cold, wet sadness inside of a burrito that costs you almost 30 dollars for two burritos (extra charges for more meat, queso, and guacamole) then you're in luck. She barely ate half before giving up. I ate mine simply because the only thing I hated more than this sham of a burrito is wasting money.
