Food is generally good for fast food. But today the service was awful. We walked in and I counted five employees just standing around. Nobody asked to take our order. We struggled at the optional order kiosk, and it wouldn't apply our rewards discount. Not a big deal, but still. As we were ordering on the kiosk, an employee finally comes to the counter and asks if she can take the order from the people behind us. A line had formed at that point. The outside is a little deceiving from what you'll get on the inside. It was actually very clean on the inside and the associates very friendly. I wasn't too sure because the parking lot and area looked a little desolate and isolated. I had not been to a Del taco in a few years so it was nice to see that I could basically get what I was familiar with and a few new items. I did enjoy seeing the options of the jr tacos. And I most definitely had to get the loaded the nacho fries. Overall, the food satisfied my fast food cravings. But it was definitely was everything i expected it be. I have never received a bad meal from them until now. However I'm not going to review the food, mistakes can happen. I'm reviewing their inability to even attempt to make things right. I received two Fish Tacos that were totally inedible. Fried until they were rock hard all the way through, no fish left just crust. I emailed customer service and this was their response. "Thank you for contacting us about your recent Del Taco experience. We are reviewing the information and you can expect a response within 24-72 hours." OK, so I waited 10 days and no follow up. I have come to this specific restaurant because all other Del Tacos can NOT compete to this location. This location does not skimp on the meat, or the lettuce and definitely provides the right amount of cheese. There has been a few times that I've had a bad order, one specific employee tried to put the fries that was being refunded back into the frier after I handed them back and proceeded to declare that they just received their food handlers license two days before. I normally would never return after such a horrible experience... but... I will forever continue to return to this location because of two outstanding employees. If you come to this location at night while the lobby is open, Denzel is your GoTo Guy that deserves a raise, he is friendly, a dedicated employee that takes pride in cleanliness, customer service and customer satisfaction. If you happen to be out late and the lobby is closed, you're in luck with the best employee at any restaurant I've ever been to. Luiz works the drive through register all throughout the night. He will make sure your order is right, and if it isn't, it soon will be. He knows how to correct ordering issues from the Del Taco Mobile Application and is always looking for a way to bring a smile to all customers that come to the ONE and ONLY THE DEL TACO!!!!! We visited this restaurant at 10:45 Friday night August 8th. What an awful experience. First off we thought the lone car in the drive through in front of us was taking their sweet time to order. 10 minutes later when it was finally our turn no one greeted us at the order box. We were questioning if they were even open. We said hello and the voice said very rudely that it would be a minute. Ok that's fine. He finally took our order and their screen was broken so we couldn't see the order to confirm he got it right. We ordered 7 items and 5 of those items were chicken tacos. While we were waiting for our food we checked the receipt and they forgot two tacos. We told the same rude man working the window and he said we were going to have to drive through the drive through again. Say what? Absolutely not. We just won't come back. I like del taco. I always order the beyond tacos with cheese, I prefer the hard shell. I also like del tacos value menu! I always and I repeat always order 2 iced coffees (for the following morning for me and my hubby, just take the ice out). He prefers the beyond tacos soft shell. We don't eat beef so when we found out they sell Beyond Meat we were o-face excited! Everytime our food was swiftly made and its become one of our guilty fast food go to's every few weeks. I came here to try the new beyond meat option which I have been anxiously awaiting for months. I don't have a closer Del Taco to me (this may be the only location in the area), but remembered stopping here prior to a water park trip many years ago. I drive by this location on the freeway frequently and will definitely be making an effort to stop off more often. I was so excited to learn that it is 24 hours a day, which may lead it to replace my stop offs at the rest area nearby on long drives. Its just a few turns off the freeway exit. I am so excited Del Taco has decided to make some good options that appeal to vegan/vegetarians. It's so nice to be able to order something directly from the menu and not have to make a bunch of substitutions. I had the Beyond Avocado Tacos and was pleasantly surprised to find them available in both hard and soft taco. In the future I plan to figure out how to sub the beyond meat onto some of the other menu items. A tiny bit on the messy side, but incredibly tasty. I appreciate the details on the website easily drawing my attention to the vegan options. What really stood out to me was the fresh salsa options and the availability to squirt out the taco sauce into a cup. Opening millions of those little packets is time consuming and this seems like an incredible solution. The mild salsa was quite tasty, leading me to decide to finish the left overs with a spoon. There was also a hotter option if that is something you prefer. I also really enjoyed the sign by the register drawing my attention to the fact that they have fresh ingredients. I wish I had snagged a picture as this seems like something they update by hand daily. I hope another Del Taco location opens up closer to me in the future. read more

I'm a fan of Del Taco but after this last incident I'm never going to step foot into this location. Imagine going with your family to grab a bite. You stand in line and place your order, when suddenly your 5 year old kid says, "Mom! I gotta go potty". You grab your kid and take her to use the loo. On your way out, your daughter walks in front of you, and you see this door with a huge security lock rip open and the knob hits her right in the jaw/cheek. All you see is an employee with her hands full mumble a "I'm sorry" and proceeds to deliver the food. As I was checking on my daughter, I thought the employee would probably come back and check on her. Nothing. The kitchen knew, the specific employee knew, and nobody reacted to check on my daughter. Nothing! I had to even go ask an employee for at least some ice! They could have offered a first aid kit? Ice? Something? There was no manager on site, and it took forever to even get a business card. I'm furious about the lack of empathy and no action towards this that came from this place. Not only was I upset over the incident and how it was handled, but I have my own concerns too. There is no warning sign that there is frequent traffic going through that door or any words of caution. Additionally, there aren't any windows in this door for the employees to look through before opening. It just seems that this currently is hazardous My daughter woke up the day after with her chin blue and a face that hurt pretty bad for a couple of days. Thankfully, it wasn't broken. I give it five stars because they offer beyond meat tacos and this is the only "Mexican" fast food restaurant in this area that I know of that offers this. On top of it, the tacos are really tasty. I love the fact that they have avocado on them and you can get crunchy or soft shells. Also on the tacos: lettuce, tomato, and cheese. I used to love this place but my recent visit to the store from Salem OR I was not let in when they were open in the drive through at 8:30 in the morning. I wanted to order some food but I also needed to use the restroom. This place violated the WA ST law about restroom access.
