I found multiple hairs in my burrito and what looks like a piece of a BUG!!!!!! highly do not recommend going here

On April 1st, waited over 20 minutes to order only to be told they were out of burritos at 7pm. Take out person chose only certain people to move outside since there wasn't a dot on the floor to social distance. Made a big stink over social distancing too. But allows people to fill up tables. Staff makes fun of an Indian couple due to language barrier and asking ingredients. Guess staff doesn't realize they have religious dietary needs. Staff could care less. 10 days later and still no response from corporate. read more

We stopped by for a quick bite during the last leg of our road trip from Florida up to Raleigh. The restaurant was clean, the staff were friendly and the food was prepared fairly quickly. There were plenty of seats to fit the vast amount of people craving burritos and everything ran smoothly. One of my friends however said his burrito was a tad salty, though maybe it was just him. Another wanted to order a "quesarito" that wasn't on the menu but he seemed rather disappointed when they simply made him a separate burrito and quesadilla. Dll in all a typical chipotle experience. I was here for opening day. I used to live in California and always visited Chipotle. They were great in the Bay Area and this one is the same. GREAT! The portions were just the right size, not too much or not too little. The service has always been great. I always go in there hungry and smiling knowing that I'm going to be full when I leave. Back at it again with another spicy review. This specific chipotle on David H Mcleod Blvd knew our group of 20 was coming. We tried to call ahead to make it easier on them but they refused to take our orders over the phone. No worries though, we have all experienced adversity and and turned to technology to fulfill our cravings. After everyone placed their order, they gave us a call to let us know that their "system crashed" and that not all of our orders were made and that we would need to order in person when we got there. They then called 5 min later letting us know if we did not make it by 10 they would be locking the doors and not taking anymore orders. Upon arrival, they opened the unlocked door and chucked the made orders at us, forgetting forks, chips, guacamole and salsa, which mind you, costs . It was clear that they jipped us of the sufficient amount of proteins due to pure laziness BECAUSE, as we were leaving the chipotle parking lot, we saw a few of them sitting down about to eat food that they made for themselves. To top it all off, one individual (who will not be named) did in fact have diarrhea seconds after indulging their mediocre burrito bowl. read more

I've given this chipotle so many second chances. This was the last straw. You've got employees who are to busy socializing with each other to add the last of what was asked for onto a simple bowl. I step over to pay since I was the ONLY one in line and glanced over as he put the lid on my bowl. Got home and found only rice and meat... no cheese or lettuce or anything else I had asked for. If he was unsure that he got my order right maybe he could try actually paying attention to the customer and asking if he had got it right. The staff here is almost always running their mouths with each other and ignoring the customers. I love Chipotle but this location won't see another cent from me. read more

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Chipotle is definatley one of my go to retaurants because of their food and usually service. Unfortunately this location didn't train the workers about how to treat the customers. They were rude and unfriendly. As we were placing our orders there was a lot of unnecessary arguing happening between employees. I lost count how many times I heard the sound of smacking teeth and necks...SO ANNOYING AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!! If I wasn't so hungry from traveling, I would have left. I sucked it up because I knew the food would make me feel better. I ordered the bowl with Sofritas, which is their vegan spicy tofu. Its a great alternative to meat if your looking for a healthy option. I opted out on the rice and doubled up on the veggies. Thankfully my meal was great and the flavors were consistent with all the other Chipoltle's I've gone to. When I'm traveling through this area again, I'll just have to skip this location. Usually I do not rate chains unless it is an exceptional poor store and deserves to be called out. This is probably the only exception other than maybe a few Texas Roadhouses which also need to be commended for exceptional service, cleanliness and food preparation. We stop at this particular location every time we drive South, which is usually five to six times a year. We always have appreciated the food, timely service and reason price. The servers at this location are always friendly and helpful and even more so, very organized and quick. I commend their management team, it is probably the best CMG I have been to. Good luck to CMG with all of the negative press, hopefully they will get past this and continue their expansion. Consider Wilson, NC if you would. read more

*zero star* The service was terrible. They work slower than molasses.There was no desire to satisfy the customers wants what's so ever. There were empty food bins every where with no urgency to refill them. Instead of refilling them they just told me that they were out. They have no hot salsa, when I asked for corn salsa he didn't even give me any. They had no queso when I asked for queso. Can't wait to eat my dry bowl with a spoon because they are out of spoons. I wouldn't have even bother making the 30 min drive from Hartsville to waste $8 on a meal that I didn't even get half of the food I wanted. Along with it the restaurant is disgusting. The trash bins are overflowing with trash. As I left after eating my horrible meal, all of the food bins that were empty were replaced. The workers were so lazy they can't bother to refill the bins as people are ordering. Instead they tell everyone that they're are out of it when they know they can refill it in the back and it takes all of 30 seconds to do but they too lazy to actually do the job they were hired to do. Slowest Chipotle operation I've ever seen. People were leaving from the line it took so long.

We stopped in here for a quick lunch passing though on a road trip. We left disgusted and went to the BWW next door before we even ordered. The faucet in the men's room was barely functional and loose from the sink, the one in the women's room was completely non functional. While waiting to use the restrooms before we ordered, the male employee in front of us had obviously not washed his hands when done, and several employees behind the counter likewise had an obvious aversion to proper food hygiene. Running your hands through your hair and cuddling your beau before using your bare hands to handle food containers is gross. The employee who decided to try the rice, eating above the rest of the containers, decided it was good and scooped more into the container that she had already eaten out of. Given Chipotle's reputation for making people sick, we decided to not chance it. read more

They are stingy with the portions. Sorry but Moe's fills their tacos and burritos with a lot more ingredients. Customer service is hit or miss. Sometimes friendly while other times they don't even tell you the price of your items and you have to read it from the register while they hold their hand out for payment. They seem to rush customers through...can I get a minute to decide what I want on my taco or burrito? Sheesh!! Three stars because the food is good, customer service can be improved. read more

We frequent Chipotle often, and they're typically pretty clean, friendly and the food is consistently good. This Chipotle was exceptional. We stopped in right around lunch. The staff kept the line moving quickly, and they insisted on using fresh rice and onions, even though there was just enough in the bottom of both tins to make my bowl. Much appreciated! Sometimes Chipotle rushes you through the line and slops your food together - our food was masterfully prepared with perfect proportions, and everyone was very friendly. Chipotle is definitely one of the most delicious and healthy fast food chains around. I've only eaten at this one so I can't compare this Chipotle to others, but there is good reason why I'm giving this location three stars. The quality and quantity of food delivered here merely depends on when you go, but more importantly, who's working there. You can already tell right off the bat if the food here is going to be good depending on how enthusiastic the first employee who talks to you is, and you can honestly tell based off their appearances as well. When it comes to the quantity of food, they really should use a measuring cup or base the price off weight because some days you get an enormous amount of each item and others you get completely jibbed. I really love this establishment, but myself and others are not going to come here as often if you guys don't maintain better management and hire more enthusiastic and competent employees. read more

This is an Excellent Chipotle! The food is well cooked and seasoned, and the staff is great. This is a new one (I was there at the grand opening too). We were very happy we didn't have to deal with an unknowledgeable staff, since this one is in SC and they don't have much of anything in this state. ha! A lot of people never heard of this. Smh. First timer to Chipotle and I will be back. It is a place that my teenager enjoys, which is not always an easy task. The food was fresh and I like the ability to get it all in a bowl. I was excited about the Patron option though did not get to partake at this visit for I was the driver and I had a carful of girls. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I ordered a steak burrito, the girl said, "one steak burrito" then started making a "bowl". I didn't stop her. She works there, I don't. I thought she knew what she was doing, so I stayed in my lane. I got to the end of their little assembly line, thinking that at some point someone would grab a tortilla, when they didn't, I told the lady that I ordered a burrito. So she had the girl remake it. The girl remade the burrito and halfway through wrapping it, she squeezed it, left fingerprints in it, and left it halfwrapped on the counter and went back to her work area. The other lady came back over, stood beside the food with both of her hands on the counter and just looked at me dumbfounded and stupified. At that moment, I realized that I was not welcome there. I simply turned around and walked out of the door. As I was leaving, they were making smart remarks. I just kept walking. I will not be back. No way, no how, never. I would not send my worst enemy to this place! You're better off being served by a pack of angry lions! read more

I have been to several Chipotle establishments over the years and never ever have I come across one that is SO inept at folding a burrito. They fold into an almost perfect square there is nothing oblong about the burritos. Why is this a problem? Because you get mouthfuls of folded tortilla. Why does this happen? Because they lump all the ingredients in one pile in the middle with no attempt to distribute then lengthwise. Also not helping is the fact that most of the staff are 4' 10" 90 pound women with child sized hands. Three consecutive visits have ended in a struggle and re-fold of my burrito. Seriously where are the standards at this place? Build and fold these burritos like every other Chipotle in the country please! Sheesh read more

I'm giving this location a 2 because of the atmosphere. The music was inappropriate and so loud we couldn't hold a conversation. Can't even tell you what the food tasted like because we wound up not having time to eat it! We were passing through (very rushed) and ordered online (as I have done at several other Chipotle locations) so we could run in, grab the food, power eat it, and keep going. We ordered for a 7:15 pickup. Our food was ready at 7:40 (7:40!!). We paid for it thinking we may be able to eat in the car, but that was impossible with a 4 year old. Money and time wasted. Real bummer as every other Chipotle I have been to has been wonderful and consistent! Also, the employees seemed to not give a crap that they were holding us up and didn't have our order ready (they completely ignored my husband when he asked "what was the point of me ordering online?"). This Chipotle is perfectly fine. They were a bit stingy with the portions when they were new (and kind of oddly argumentative about it), but they're not now. They're very polite, and their managers have always been nice when encountered. It's clean, and far, far better than Moe's. read more
