It took a bit longer than I'd expected. I think part of this was due to fact that it seemed like they were understaffed? The cashier seemed to be getting the food as well as handling transactions. Another part of this was that the cashier didn't seem to have much urgency. Usually I don't comment too much on these types of things but I felt it was relatively noticeable. Before I ordered, I also wanted to note this incident. The customer in front of me just got his food. He asked for some hot honey. The cashier proceeded to get some hot honey but threw the packets in. The gentleman was mad and immediately asked for a refund. Although this didn't happen to me, I also of course found it to be disrespectful. Now it was my turn. I had actually already ordered on the app (about 20 minutes ago at this point). However, it still wasn't ready. There was no dirty rice so I substituted for mashed potatoes instead. There was no sauce throwing incident in my case. Though there was sauce that was forgotten in my order. I did end up getting extra but at that point the impression of the service had already left its mark. The food was overall good. I got the spicy chicken sandwich, chicken tenders, and boneless wings as well as mashed potatoes and friends. The chicken could have been more crispy. The fries could have been more crispy. The mashed potatoes could have been creamier. But that's about it in terms of actual critiques. It's a shame that the service left such a negative impression, especially in the context of what should have just been a quick pick up order. I think it will be a while before I come back again.
