Horrible experience compared to other locations. Line out the door 5 minutes after opening since they had 1 worker. A "5 minute wait" for veggies turned into 15 minutes. Yes, they were out of veggies right after they opened. The bowl with double meat had the amount of meat you get with a normal order at other locations. Hard pass at going back here. ***Update. Gave them another try. Same situation. No veggies & none cooking 20 minutes after opening. They said at least a 10 minute wait. They weren't even busy. The employees thought it was funny. I love Chipotle--I think their food is fresh and fantastic, however, this location seems to (on almost) each visit skimp on the portions of meat. I'm a big fan of the food factory, where you can select your food options. When I ask for my meat, no matter if it's all one meat or combination of meat, they just "graze" the top and provide very small portions. I have to ask them to put more meat almost every visit. I can only imagine that a "double meat" portion would be like a single serving! In addition, they need to layer the food much better, rather than just "plopping" it on top. Try eating your burrito with all of the food and condiments on one end, and the rice and meat on the other. Seriously! Otherwise, until another location closer to me opens up OR if this location improves the food portions and preparations served, I will visit this location sparingly, just to avoid the aggravation of having to repeat myself with "can you please put a little more"? As in other reviews of this location, the food is not consistent. The staff here are not generous with the portions-especially the cilantro lime rice. I usually always have to ask for them to add more to my items. They literally put less than 1/4 cup rice into my orders. Certain members of the staff here are extremely unfriendly and cold. When I pay for my food, I want to be acknowledged and not have my receipt shoved at me. I have actually gone completely out of my way to go to the Orland location (SO MUCH BETTER!) instead of this location. read more

I worked at Pops and would often go there after work with some coworkers and the employees were all very friendly- they would joke and make conversation with me. Even when I would go there off the clock (not in my Pop's uniform) they would recognize me and greet me kindly! It was a really welcoming place! I am assuming the workers think they close at 8 instead of 10. I have come in to this location about 8pm 2x in the last month after work. Both times the floors are wet from being mopped, chairs alongside the windows, all the utensils napkins etc are on one table...I don't understand why it looks like they are closed when they still have 2 hours left of open business. I can understand if I came in after 9:30 pm. As I was eating I notice workers shaking the head when customers were walking in. Very disappointed in this location recently. read more

Always have -loved- their food and the only one closest to us was the one in Orland Park. Now they opened one in Frankfort and it has made finding our "food fix" half as easy. A Burrito bowl with steak, rice, black beans, corn, salsa, sour cream, lettuce and cheese its the spot. When ever we are out of our area we look for other ones. One thing I can say about the new one is the employees don't look to happy either. I know they are busy but why the long faces??? If the mood there was better it would get 5 stars like the Orland Park one does for us. read more

worker margarita (not sure how to spell it) was being very rude with her co worker. i asked for extra chicken and she gave me 3 more pieces. so then i asked for a side of chicken and she said that the side plus the 3 extra pieces will each be $2... like um really? and the the man said "haah how much chicken do these girls really need!?" so then i said "um what did you just say? please don't make fun of us" and the the woman said "ma'am if you continue with this we will kick you out" i am very frustrated and to make things worse i asked for a bag of chips and she gave me a kids size. so then i said that i ordered a big one and then she just said ok and added a big bag to my receipt but still didn't give me the big bag. she stated that i payed for a small one but i can clearly see i payed for a big one. this was in the mokena illinois location. also she pretended my card was defended and made me pay 2 times. read more

This is the only Chipotle location I've been to, and I've been here a few times. That being said, if this location is an accurate representation of the franchise then I don't like Chipotle. The staff this evening is obnoxious... very loud, clearly more interested in goofing around than serving customers. The floor and tables are filthy. Not a great experience. Our food was slopped together in front of our eyes, not appealing nor worth the price paid. The person that folded my burrito has clearly had no training... it was folded sort of like a coin pouch. I have the same consistent problem every time I visit this Chipotle. I place my order through their app or online and my order is never correct. This has happened on my last 3 visits. The 1st time involved a Salad with No Meat and the last 2 times involved a salad with no Lettuce. Quality control is a huge problem at this location and it's not getting any better despite numerous complaints. read more

I love chipotle...but this one not so much...it's dirty, slow, and the food isn't as good as others. The last time I went the garbage was back by the food. There wasn't a clean table and we waited for way to long when there wasn't even a line. And there were 9 employees in the back most of them talking not working. Typically a big fan of the McD start up, but this location should be passed by for another chain right in that area. As a local resident, I've given this location multiple second chances, yet their staff never fails to disappoint. Last night I attempted to order a barbacoa salad. The attendant reached into the near empty stainless steel bowl, grabbed what remained and looked to move on to complete the order. I asked if she was kidding me to which she said "what, this is all we had." A popular national chain, that uses lettuce on multiple dishes, was out of lettuce on a Tuesday with 90 minutes remaining until close. Of all the things she could have done or said, she made it my problem. I downloaded yelp just to voice my complaint on this one restaurant. We went to chipotle tonight to grab dinner. At 6:30pm, they were out of white rice, black beans, steak and corn salsa. The very little amount of steak that they had was burnt. The lettuce was wilted and soggy. This was the worst chipotle experience. Staff is not properly trained. We will not be returning. read more

This chipotle is very hit or miss. I eat at a chipotle about once a week or so but after ordering from Frankfort, I am sticking to the Orland Park or Tinley Park location. We ordered our food online and when we went to pick it up they acted like they had no idea where it was. We noticed while driving they gave us an extra cup of guacamole, but we tasted it and it was extremely salty and basically inedible. The other cup was fine so we didn't think anything of it. After the 20 minute drive to where we were going, we realized they had put 4 extra cups of guacamole in our bag total, and none on our burrito or bowl (no sour cream on the burrito either). All four cups were so salty you could feel the grains of salt when you were eating it. My mouth burned from it. We decided to call and complain, but being too far away to go back, we asked if we could get some sort of credit for next time and they only offered us a single free order of chips and guacamole, after they screwed up every item in the $20 order. We picked at our food and threw the rest out. Other times we've had problems included a day that our food smelled like cigarettes, they forgot to put meat on a bowl, there have also been times where the foods has been completely flavorless and even watery (why?). Also there have been multiple occasions where they didn't have the order ready when someone arrived to pick it up, in fact they didn't even see that an order had come in. Some days the food has been great but after tonight I am sticking to Orland or Tinley where it has been great every single time. read more

So sick of this place. We eat Chipotle weekly at least. This one is the worst and we've been to several locations. Unfortunately, this is the one closest to us. They are SO inconsistent on quality and portions. Today my husband was going to get me a salad to bring home and told me the guy wasn't wearing gloves as he handled the lettuce - gross! He left without the salad. The staff is also hit or miss, with this one main guy who is often there being one of the rude ones. I have visited other Chipotle locations with much success. This is my family's favorite go to Mexican fast food restaurant. Unfortunately this location is the worst. They are constantly running out of pork, black beans and tomatillo sauce. Who does the ordering for this place? The other thing is you stand in line forever if you go at lunch or dinner time. Why don't they staff more people at this time? They also have a tendency to skimp on indgredients. There is no consistency on how much food you might get. Most of the time they skimp on the ingredients especially the pork. Do yourself a favor and go some place else. Not worth the money. read more

I enjoy the food from Chipotle however I'm not thrilled with the staff and service at this location. The only time my orders were correct were when they were put together by an employee who no longer works there (due to the lack of management and staff issues) Whenever I'm ordering, I am hurried along and my order is never correct. Even when I go at an off peak time, the staff behind the counter is always loud, joking around, and not paying attention to my requests for ordering what I want. Had a great lunch today. Even though there was no line when I entered the young lady Grace politely informed me that they were waiting on steak. I watched as they assisted another guest. Then they pulled some sizzling steak off the grill and cut a generous helping right into my bowl. Didn't have to wait at all! I got to the checkout and they informed me he manager had paid for my meal. WOW. Great food and great way to make the smallest of inconveniences completely worth it! This restaurant has had quite a reputation for quality from my social circle and I was eager to try it. The location in Orland Park was always so busy that the line was out the door and I always said I would come back. I saw the one in Frankfort, IL and saw I can park there so I got excited to experience what people have been talking about. I saw the very limited menu when I entered and was greeted with a smile by a young man. I saw the prices and asked if that was a meal price and was told "no that is a burrito price". Ok, lets try it. He said I can get anything on it and I said yes to rice. Two large scoops of rice...good. Then I got the Barbacoa and was given one pinch of a tong of meat. I asked the next girl on the line if that is the amount and she said "not really" and gave me another half pinch. The total amount of meat on this burrito literally could fit in my hand and be completely covered by my fingers making a fist. I asked for hot sauce and she dumped at least 2 ounces, but I think the ladle was a 3 ounce one. A little cheese and wrapped it up. I paid $7 for a burrito. I was thinking this better be good. Quality over quantity...alright. Could be worth it. I live 6 miles from this location and took out my food. No extra sauce, no napkins, no receipt! Took a bite and it is cool to the touch. I am hungry so I eat it cold. It is a rice burrito, dripping in hot sauce, and I have to pick to find any meat. This reminded me of a cheap Taco Bell dollar menu item. I thought Chipotle was "gourmet"! Nevertheless, I will express my opinion. I may or may not try again, but it will be low on my list of available options, especially when I pass a great authentic mexican food place on the way there! read more

One star...because I had to in order to post. This place has failed me more and more every time I go here, always offering numerous second chances, which, after tonight, I don't think I'll be giving anymore. Stopped in at 9pm, and right away noticed they were busy. I ordered the sofrita tacos for myself and my girlfriend. We attempted to eat them but we were unfortunately not able to due to the fact that all of the contents of the tacos were practically thrown in to the hardly warm tortillas and were literally laying everywhere they shouldn't have been. Tortillas very quickly became soggy and became even more impossible to handle and eat and felt like just giving up. Staff really didn't seem to care about presentation, or quality of the food they were serving. Staff is also unfriendly and seem more concerned about getting you in and out of the line as quick as humanly possible just so they don't have to deal with you as a customer anymore. Sorry but Ive worked in customer service for 7 years now, and their service has always been poor and in decline for quite some time now.
