We've been looking for our new go-to Mexican spot since we moved down here from closer to the city. This is the 4th joint in the area we've tried, and I can confidently say this is it! The portions are generous, and the steak burrito I had was beautifully seasoned and cooked. It also wasn't greasy at all which is another plus. The cilantro was a nice touch as well as most places don't put it on their burritos. My girlfriend had some tamales and they were some of the best we've had period. It's was Cinco de Mayo day around 6:30 pm and I wanted some tacos. I did my research on Yelp and selected Faby's Tacos. I ordered over the phone 2 steak tacos dinners which included rice and beans. I added a tamale À la cart. Everything was absolutely delicious. To enhance my dining experience I took my food home plated it and added a homemade pink lemonade margarita. Considering they were being bombarded with orders over the phone and in person they were a well oiled machine. It's a small restaurant with about four booths and a small kitchen. They have markers on the floor for social distancing and they are following all CDC guidelines. The they have a huge menu with lots of options including dessert. I will start off by saying I love Faby's Tacos. This place is truly a hidden gem. The staff are always friendly and professional. The food is always consistent and hot. I usually order a half dozen shrimp tacos and a half dozen steak tacos for the family. The chicken are really good as well, but the Shrimp tacos are my favorite. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE AND GROSS!! The reviews are very good..which makes me think that the employees getting friends and relatives to post. Because this place was just awful! Service was sooooo bad! No napkins located anywhere.. we were given 1 fork to share?? No knife.. My husband ordered a chicken burrito. I don't know what they gave him but it was coated in a spicy rub. Not good at all. I ordered the steak taco dinner. 3 MINI tacos?? The shell was so greasy and old tasting..like the oil needed changing. We ordered horchatas. $3.50 for an XL that was mostly ice?! I go to Faby's at least once a week and it's always great, the meats are old school prepared and seasoned. It's not easy to find a good taqueria in the burbs, but this is a gem. If you want a commercialized taco place, don't go here. If you want an old school taqueria like you find in the city with amazing meat and portions, this is your place. read more

The tacos are only $2.55 or so which is cheap but they are on the smaller side. I had two steak tacos, one on corn and one in flower. They were both just average. Even with the salsa added they tasted a little dry. The place was pretty dirty inside. You can tell they didn't clean the tables or floors in a while. I would recommend going somewhere else but this place is open till 11 which most around close earlier than that. read more

Stopped in for a quick meal to take home. The prices on all the board items we covered over and replace with paper prices, around $9.00 for the torta and $3.00 for the taco. The hard shell taco was only 3" long! About the same amount of 2 tortilla chips, I was shocked. Usually, 13 bucks buys you more than enough Mexican for one person with leftovers. It's like they must be going out of business and are trying to make every cent they can as they die off. They are rude and they do not listen. I placed my order in store. Asked for steak nachos. When she rang me up she said, did you want steak nachos. I confirmed yes. Then I looked on the screen before signing, it also said steak nachos. Got home and had beef nachos. Unreal! I called them and the owner said since she wrote beef on his ticket it's correct. Third time here and best crunchy beef tacos around. Had a tamale and it was tender and not dry. This place is delicious and the host is super sweet. Cheese enchiladas are my next favorite thing on the menu. Salsa and chips are complimentary and it's fresh and just right amount of spicy. I like this place a lot. read more

Fabys is a solid Mexican restaurant, I get the pastor taco dinner, and it's always good! The staff is always nice and polite! My wife says they have good guacamole and orders a side of it every time.. it is a little pricey but what isn't these days, I've never ate inside only have taken it to go, they also have delivery options! This is one of those places you'll usually pass by and not notice. The food is actually better than the bigger so called Authentic Mexican restaurants. They season their meat just right. The tacos are delicious and they started offering other items. My wife has celiac, she took a chance multiple times and hasn't had a bad reaction from it. This place is a joke! I had the worst chicken quesadilla I assumed cheese would be added but no cheese, I'm not sure if this was real chicken or a chicken substitute. Disappointed in our second trip here. Came for the fried quesadilla, after ordering and sitting down to wait, we were told they were out. It's the only reason we came... Stayed for the crazy fries with steak, a chicken burrito, and regular quesadilla. The crazy fries were tasty-basically nachos with fries instead of chips. My daughter said her burrito was just ok. Finally there is an authentic Mexican Restaurant in the Square. Their Steak tacos on corn are amazing! The elotè is one of the best I've ever had. The corn come fresh off the cob. Prices are very reasonable and the service is great. You have the option to dine in or carry out. I definitely recommend this place if you're in the area. You will NOT be disappointed. read more
