The chips were so stale and overly salted. This will be the absolute last time we order from this Chipotle location. If I could give zero I would. I tried this location again tonight. Ordered a kids meal with a chicken quesadilla and a steak bowl for myself. I was told the steak wasn't ready, but I watched them cut the steak up put it in a container and leave it on the counter and nobody picked it up. I waited 15 minutes and they never tried to make my bowl and just left us standing there while helping other customers. Absolute worst chipotle in the Frederick area. The managers need to be fired and staff needs to be retrained. Unacceptable. read more

Close this Chipotle and put a Cafe Rio. This Chipotle is awful. The management here clearly doesn't care about the customers or the staff. There was ONE employee actually working the line and she was brand new, clearly still trying to figure things out. Props to her for really trying here. Meanwhile, the manager just stood off to the side, talking and watching like it wasn't their job to help. No support, no sense of urgency, just a complete joke . The rest of the staff was standing around doing nothing while the line kept growing. It's ridiculous to have one new employee trying to run the whole line while the so-called "managers" act like they're on break. This location needs new management, immediately. Totally unacceptable experience. Let me paint you a picture of today's event: Walking in and see three people standing to the corner chatting in plain sight. 2 of them are the managers and one male who was leaving. One person (new) helping on the line AND ringing people up. I see the people that are chatting staring at her while she struggles. They start making fun of her because she made the burrito to big and can't close it. Instead of helping. Seriously the worst management. I have provided my review and now it's your turn to correct the poor food/service with THAT restaurant. My part is done. Do yours. As per any restaurant that pops up in Urbana, it's only a matter of time before it goes downhill. And Chipotle is no different. My latest order may be the final straw. I ordered a sofritas bowl with the basics; rice, lettuce, pico, cheese and sour cream. Just to try something different, I had the fajita vegetables added. Wow, what a mistake. None of the veggies were cooked through, essentially raw. I had also ordered chips and a side of guacamole. The guacamole was turning brown and there was a half of an Avocado, not mashed, in the cup. As usual, the chips were stale and tasted days old. Honestly, I think the biggest reason this Chipotle has declined in quality is likely they allow their restaurant to be run by teenagers. Teens generally don't care and just want a paycheck at the end of the day. It probably wouldn't be so bad if they actually had a mature adult supervising at each shift. The general vibes from Urbanites is that this is the worst chipotle ever, however, generally I would say that most of the time it's a normal what you get Chipotle. However, today was a little different. This was the first time using the drive through pick up and I sat in the car for 4 minutes before being acknowledged. After getting my food to go (I noticed after upon arrival to my destination) that my burrito with the label "burrito" on top of the bowl tin...I indeed got a bowl not a burrito. Didn't get the double meat portion that I had requested either. The chips and guacamole I got was unfortunately half of an avocado that wasn't smashed up and the nub of the avocado that was unfortunately crunched on when eating, leaving a very annoyed hungry customer. Overall my experiences have been normal so far until today. Was very disappointed in not only the food but also the level of customer service in the drive through pick up line. read more

We decided to order inside the restaurant and that was a big mistake. Everything was low at 5:30pm. How are you out of steak, sofritas, chicken, literally everything was critically low during a rush hour time on a Saturday? It was also extremely unprofessional for one staff member to be barking orders to his colleagues and stood at the cash register instead of helping out. Really disappointed in this location tonight. It's bustling with employees, but when I walked in although five different staff personnel looked directly at me, not a single one acknowledged me. I'm standing right at the counter where you start your order. No other customers in line! A few were eating at tables, but I was the only one at the counter and i could not have been more obvious. A few of them looked at me more than once, then looked away. 2 of them walked past me on the other side of the counter. Nothing. If I could give half of a one star or zero star review, I would. We have ordered for pick up several times at this location and almost every time, our order gets completely screwed up. Today we decided to try the carne asada burrito bowl since it's new and available for a limited time. We order online and it said it'll be ready in 10 minutes. Cool. It takes us about 10 mins to get there anyways. We get there and we're told that the carne asada is out and they had to cook more and that it would take about 10 mins. We decided to wait. After about 15 mins, our food is finally ready. I checked to just make sure we have two bowls. We get home and noticed one of the bowls had someone else's name on it. My husbands bowl had his name on it but someone else's order. It was not our order at all. We were LIVID. My husband had enough and decided to return the food this time. We go here very often for lunch and usually don't have a problem. Every once in a while our order is missing ingredients, or they used the wrong ones , but not a huge deal- it's bound to happen. I spent a total of $20 for a single bowl, and the best part was that they quite literally put only 6 pieces of small chicken in my bowl and called it a day. This is the worst Chipotle places I have ever been. I have order from this place I will say about 6 times. I keep giving them another chance hoping they have changed but once again not. The food will meet your expectations. The service will not! This could be the worst run Chipotle. If you are ordering (through the takeout window), definitely check your order before you leave. If they tell you at the drive-up window that they are out of something, just park and go inside to pick it up. This review is not from 1 experience. Out of convenience, we go every once in awhile. The workers did not follow the instructions. For example, I am allergic to beans and clicked "no beans" etc. My family was very disappointed. My wife and I had to drive 15 minutes back and spoke with the female manager. She did not apologize. She does not read English well. She used her iPhone to translate Spanish to English.
