The style is very similar to chipotle but I love that they have the ground beef option and shrimp. We got the ground beef with, rice, black beans, chipotle crema, lettuce and lots of cheese. Very good portion for $10 and the chicken in the quesadilla was grilled up to order. Very good food and great price for multiple items for lunch while you're shopping. The staff were very nice and patient with people taking longer than normal to choose what they wanted. Lots of seating in the cafe area right behind where you get your food. The quesadilla came with sour cream and pico de gallo. The chipotle crema was very Smokey and very tasty. Will absolutely go back when shopping next. Try it out!

I understand this is a newer location inside the Clarksburg Outlet and not a standalone restaurant, but I still expected better quality and care with the food. Huge portion, food tasted fresh and the chicken was moist and not at all fatty or salty (which can be an issue at places that serve this type of food). The Staff preparing the food were efficient and friendly. We also got a small chips/salsa and two soft drinks. The burrito and bowl, as I said, were very good and filling. Even the tortilla wrap, which I've had at other places that were dried out and tasteless, was very good. The chips were nice and crunchy, but the portion of salsa that came with the chips was too small. I like the variety of hot sauces that are available here, but am partial to the Pappy's mild and hot sauces. The price point is a bit higher than a Chipotle and some other burrito/bowl places. We raised our family in this area, and over 20 years ago, we came to this location almost weekly for a couple of years with our kids for a Saturday lunch and enjoyed the food and ambience. For example if you go with a group of friends and you each separately order, they put all the tacos mixed in 1 box. Last time it became a huge argument and they unpacked the entire order, threw away all the boxes, reboxed it, then wouldnt give our food back until we each paid (again) for 53 cents for each to go bag; held our food hostage for $2.12. If you're very poor and don't value your time, this is a decent spot to stuff your gut. And if you're thinking of taking a date here, don't. They decorated it like a NY cab stand for some reason, and it's a cafeteria, not a restaurant. Many people find the toppings bar disgusting because it is not up to health code.

My service was excellent and the woman who waited on me was so nice. She made sure to add extra pickles and went light on the mayonnaise, just like I had asked her to do. I did notice the prices did go up! They offer three sizes and I got the medium sub. That lasted me for 2 lunches. It is a clean and spacious shop. The sound travels, so it makes it loud inside the restaurant. I usually take my sub to go. My turkey and provolone sub really satisfied my craving. I hope you give them a try.

When I arrived, the staff was huddled by the grill talking, leaving me ignored at the counter. While waiting, I noticed sub rolls sitting directly on a wet countertop (see attached photo). When I ordered my #13, the employee grabbed a roll straight off that wet surface. I asked for a dry roll instead, and she complied--albeit with an annoyed sigh. When I asked why she was annoyed, she claimed there was "nothing wrong" with the wet roll. Upon checkout, I asked to speak to a manager about their hygiene practices. An employee who claimed to be the manager was friendly, but completely dismissed my concerns. She stated the liquid on the counter was a "food-safe cleaning solution." While she admitted when I asked her if she would eat it, that she wouldn't want her own food served that way, she insisted it was safe to ingest. Whether a chemical is "food-safe" or not, customers should not be forced to ingest cleaning solutions. If the staff is this careless with sanitation in plain view, it makes me highly concerned about what goes on behind the scenes. From my personal experience and observations, this location has consistently struggled with keeping their assembly station clean. I cringe at what the back might look like. Being that they are now a public company with much greater exposure and responsibility to customers, it is even more concerning and disappointing. This incident was the final straw for now. I will likely not be returning until obvious changes and training are made. I also visit Subway quite often, but have never felt disgusted at any of their locations.
