Ughhhhh chipotle. So I love chipotle. Love it... Well I love the one near my house in Chantilly (NoVA). This one is always slow and the service is so below par. The rice tastes bland. They run out of everything at all times. I've been there when they've ran out of both tops and bottoms for the burrito bowls. I don't really get why you wouldn't order a lot of items that are non perishable when you know that you're the only chipotle option for miles? Maybe they just don't care. The meat is hit or miss but last time I went, the guy waited for me to ask for the steak before he asked to get it cut. Like cmon, you saw it was running low.. Why wouldn't you ask for it before?? Hello common sense. Anyways, I only come here when I need my chipotle fix. But it gets really packed really fast and the food is meh. Last two times I've been here have been abysmal. Lines were long, food service was slow, portions were the smallest I've ever seen, and the food quality was something to behold. First of all, everything looked as if it had been sitting there all freaking day. The workers were uninspired at best and it was obvious there was some staffing and training issues. The workers looked lost. When we got to the topping section, we were told they didn't have guac or lettuce. Which is quite interesting as we saw lots of it stored for the online orders. How does this make any sense? By the time we got home I was starving and just hoping to have a decent meal. But even that was impossible as the food was cold (I live 5 minutes from there). Every staff member had on a mask but was wearing it incorrectly, with their nose outside of it or with the mask under their chin entirely. If your staff know it's important enough to wear masks, then at least wear them correctly. This is a food service establishment in which prepared foods are being handled frequently. With the transmission rate our country is currently seeing, it feels irresponsible to not enforce proper mask wearing. read more

I live in the area, and I practically live at this Chipotle, so I have seen it at its best and worst over the past two years. 1) During the school year, expect to wait in line, no matter what time of day it is. The college students fill this place and at meal times the line stretches back to the bathrooms and around again. 2) Because it's so busy during the school year, the food turnover is fast, and they run out of things quickly. There will always be something on the grill, something being chopped, and still something running low on the line. You want it? You may have to wait for it. 3) The soda and ice run out frequently or get broken from people ramming the buttons and switches too hard. 4) The tables fill quickly and can be messy. Unless you want to wait for someone on the insanely busy line to find a spare second to come wipe down the tables, prepare to grab a napkin and clear yourself a table. Or take it to go if you can't be bothered. 5) When school's not in session, this place gets very quiet. It's easy to get to know the staff, which is usually much smaller because the students they employ have also gone home. The food might not be as red hot and fresh because it's not turning over as quickly. Come at mealtimes if you want the best bet. Off-times things are going to be a little more dry, a little more soggy. The tables and floors will be cleaner because there's nothing to do but clean and few people there making messes. The music will be louder because there are fewer people drowning it out. 6) At all times, if they haven't given you as much of something as you want, ask for more. They will gladly give you more rice, corn, salsa, whatever you're craving. I often ask for more rice. My husband specifically asks for "double corn." 7) The reviews about the chips, sadly, are on par with our experience to date. Every time we've gotten chips here, they've been stale. I did notice recently that there seemed to be some new management-types wandering around, and I was wondering if perhaps this store has gotten new management or is undergoing change? I don't know; I suppose it remains to be seen. But they did just in the past month suddenly FINALLY add outdoor seating to the long patio, and that's a start. read more

I spend a lot of money here and give them my business a lot, but every time i come they are out of something and it makes no sense why they cant restock. This is the worst Chipotle I have ever been to. Growing up my family and I would come to Chipotle every Sunday after church. Here I got beans and carnitas on my burrito and the employees didn't drain them at all. The women who put on the carnitas slopped it on my burrito. As it was dripping through she continued to wrap it. She doubled wrapped it with with foil and it still dropped through. I have never been so disgusted at a Chipotle. I couldn't finish it. Hey guys, BURITTO BOWL! Thats what I have to say first and foremost, right as I walk into the store I run straight for the front of the line thinking "BURRITO BOWL, BURRITO BOWL, BURITTO BOWL" because their rice is so awesome! Anyways, as I was saying I walked into the store and of course I got a buritto bowl and ate it all up, but lets backtrack. We literally spent 45 minutes trying to find a parking space, we saw a few 'open' spaces that turned out to be motorcycles or smart cars (DAGONIT!) and we kept looking. I was about to tell my buddy (who was driving an accord with me in the passenger seat) that enough was enough, lets just go to Q'doba which is LITERALLY across the street (along with food lion, best buy, michaels, Mcdonalds etc...) but my buddy/driver REFUSED! So, anyways were driving around looking for a parking space (like come on, the parking lot is so small there are 10 spaces I counted!) and finally someone came out and spent another 10 minutes turning the radio on as we waited (by this time its 9 PM and we havent eaten all day we were so hungry) and we parked. God we parked. I sprinted into the place and got a burrito bowl, only odd thing was when I asked for all of the salsas the lady looked at me and put them on. Then she put on corn and sour cream and lettuce. Okay lets get the run down - Rice, Pinto Beans Chicken, Veggies, Cheese Lettuce Sour Cream Corn all Salsas but the GUAC IS SO DARN EXPENSIVE I ALMOST POOPED MYSELF. I was absolutely appalled when I went to this chipotle. I've been eating chipotle since they first opened and my order was always half chicken half steak. The girl who does the rice, beans, and meat station gave me as little as possible. I asked her to put a little more of each steak and chicken because it was honestly the smallest amount I had ever been given. She then argued back and forth with me before completely pushing my bowl down the line and ignoring me. I ended up having to pay for "extra meat" which in my bowl is essentially the average amount of meat they give for normal pricing. The line is always really long here. I just waited for over 30 minuets to get my food. When I finally ordered it, they messed my order up with the person in front of me. My order was completely cold, the rice is cold, the steak is cold, the beans are cold.
