Delicious cheesesteaks and awesome venue! Went for lunch on a weekday without Jmu in session so it was quiet. Excellent service and the bartender was great to chat with. Will definitely be back! Love the decor in the bar.

Cheesesteak w/ tomato, lettuce and mushroom

Went here around noon on a Sunday. The restaurant was empty when we got in, but filled up quickly as we dined. You can order with a server or via a QR code. Parking is limited to parallel parking spots across from the restaurant, as the parking lots next to it are reserved for the law firms (seriously? why do they even need that much parking). Ambiance is funny but welcoming, lots of hilarious signs and decorations around the shop. We ordered via QR code, and I wasn't able to do more than one modification to the plain jane cheesesteak, so I instead got a burger with lettuce, tomato, sautéed onions, and pickles. The patty was HUGE! It was as if I had 1 1/2 burgers worth of meat. The meat was juicy and hit the spot. Fries are crispy and have a tasty cajun seasoning. My girlfriend got a cheesesteak and really enjoyed it. Prices and wait were both reasonable. Would recommend if you're in the mood for a burger or cheesesteak.

Great food!! Friendly service. Dog friendly RV only in their outdoor dining area. Fun to read all their signs.

Philly Special

Had to come here again and give them another shot. I had planned on coming back later but after one of the owners, Tommy, reached out to me, I decided to come back sooner. I have to say this was an amazing experience. One of, if not the best cheesesteak I've had in my life. I wanted to be able to compare to the first time I went so I got takeout again, but it was so good I couldn't even tell it was takeout. There was a perfect amount of cheese and the meat was cooked really well and filled up the cheesesteak pretty well. There was a perfect amount of onions as well as peppers which gave it a good kick. I am glad to have given this place another chance and will surely be back again to get the Philly Special. Highly recommend to anyone who has never been to Urgie's, they make a great cheesesteak.

Servicio fantástico con comida aún mejor. Lo recomendaría 10/10. La comida llegó rápido y estaba deliciosa. El ambiente me recordó a un auténtico bar de Filadelfia.

Tony and I went to get a "Great Cheese steak" and the food was Great. I was a little surprised that there was NO designated parking for the restaurant. Finding on street parking was a challenge since we were not from the area. But a little walk doesn't kill you and definitely needed it after we ate. We went in and opted to eat inside the restaurant instead of the outside dining area. The outside dining was nice with tables and overhead roof. Inside was nicely air conditioned. There was about 4 tables with bar stool seating. Full bar and Tony's favorite PBR on tap We ordered the Urgie's Special 12" Cheese Steak Hoagie with Route 11 Chips and we ordered Peorgies with fried onions and sour cream. The food was very good. We shared everything. I asked for BBQ sauce for my sandwich but didn't need it. The sandwich was very spicy. First time with Pepperoni on cheese steak but it was good We would definitely eat here again and recommend to others! Great atmosphere Great friendly staff and great food! Gender neutral bathrooms and no parking were negatives. I just didn't like the dirty urinal in the bathroom.

The hat-The Hat Trick Cheesesteak Sandwich (with added peppers and onions)

One of our favorite places to eat!! These cheese steaks are the best I have ever had in Virginia. Anything on the menu is amazing and they have good happy hour specials. I always get the 'hat-trick' but everything is good. I would recommend adding the whiz on any of the sandwiches. They just expanded their dining room so there's a lot more room than before. It does get pretty busy in there so for faster service I would recommend going early.

Urgies has great cheesteaks! It's a favorite among the college kids in the area and parents alike. We try to sneak in during less busy times when we are in town. Since they're usually busy, the food does take a bit to get out but it and the service are always good. Will definitely be back soon!

First time at this joint as I was driving through this college town! Since I love Philly Cheese sandwich I decided to stop by for a Philly sandwich to go! Took a little longer than I expected. I was getting a little impatient but decided to wait to see how long it took for the sandwich to arrive.... well it took exactly 14 mins to arrive! The the hoagie roll was not as fresh as I would have liked however the steak was cooked to perfection! The Wiz was okay! Felt like something was missing could not tell! However as an optimist I'm willing to comeback and try another sandwich at some point! Cool collegiate atmosphere! Hope to be back again!

We went here Monday Memorial Day but they were closed. So Tuesday we met everyone!! Lol, we met the Owner/manager Tommy !! And his beautiful coat black friendly dog and two other men we accidentally crashed a meeting!! Not knowing it until a salesman came inside the place had some good small talk and then Tommy said McKenzie would take care of Us! And she definitely did!!! customer service was great we talked about the area she told us stuff is always poppin downtown and the best times to beat the huge crowds and find good parking is 2:30-3:00pm. We ordered the Special Cheesesteak it was like 3 types of cheeses! let me tell you they FILL the cheesesteaks uppp with Meat!! & it's NOTHING taste or texture like the ones from the dc Carryouts!!... you can t even eat one half because it's so filling overall !! So I took my other half home literally.. McKenzie was time to clock out and we Met Ryan!!! he was nice and small talk but just as engaging as everyone else we met!!! And we spoke about how to make an authentic cherry coke.. everything about this place is recommendable !! The ppl , the food, the surroundings and the chill vibes!! Thank you Tommy McKenzie and Ryan for the Restaurant Hospitality will definitely see you soon!!

This is the place to get cheesesteaks in Harrisonburg!

It can become a frenzied nucleus of sundry, displaced Steelers fans. And at Time-Out, their singular passion for Pittsburgh outshines their real-life heterogeneities. It's cute. Now I'm a Patriots fan. Not making this a secret, I was setup to watch my game on an old tube TV that wasn't adjusted to display the particulars of the game. It wasn't even large enough to discern who was involved in what play. As I missed the details of play after play, all the potential accolades that could have come from Time-Out being a smoker-friendly establishment vanished. TVs galore and I'm stuck watching my team's unabated conquest on a poorly tuned box circa 1985? And I could swear the thing had wood grain siding. Fail. As a practical matter, management should be advised that when it comes to pizza, every inch of cheese isn't supposed to immediately slide off the bread when slices are handled. Just saying. I'm convinced that they spray the dough with Teflon at Time-Out. All this being said, the service here is exemplary. Our waiter made regular rounds and we were not wanting for pitchers of beer. It's easy to quaff them down at Time-Out. So if you're looking for a place to drink and smoke, come here. But don't expect one iota more.

The hot Italian had just the right kick, the steak & cheese was hearty and satisfying, and the kids meal didn't feel like an afterthought (always a win). The mac and cheese was creamy and comforting--definitely worth adding on. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff truly stood out--friendly, attentive, and on top of everything without being overbearing. Stereotypical decor and menu, Grains and Grog stood painfully empty on a Saturday afternoon playing music nostalgic to anyone who graduated high school before 2010. I ordered a Manhattan. Hallway through, looking down at the bottom of the glass, I saw two tiny flies floating at the bottom. As disgusted as one can reasonably be, I asked for another one to be made (why I bothered, I can't say. Maybe it was because I had already drank half). I found another small fly in the second before the server left the table. Another fly in the third as well. We didn't finish our meals for obvious reasons. They brought us the check, discounted the manhattans and 50% the check, though I didn't feel I should have paid anything. After paying the check, they said it was a mistake. They brought us the wrong one and would void the sale. The "correct" check they brought us was the full meal sans the 3 botched manhattans. We won't be going back
