On March 13, 2026, at approximately 10:30 PM, my partner and I visited Chipotle Mexican Grill. When we arrived, we were the only customers standing in line waiting to be served. Despite this, we were left standing there for an unacceptable amount of time while employees deliberately avoided assisting us. After roughly five minutes, a male employee stated he would be with us shortly, yet instead of helping, he continued walking around the kitchen collecting items and organizing his workspace. Another ten minutes passed before a female employee wearing glasses approached the food line to place white rice out. She briefly acknowledged us and said she would help shortly, but then proceeded to focus entirely on preparing online orders rather than assisting the only customers physically waiting in line. We ultimately waited approximately 20 minutes before Ms. Pam finally came over and began preparing our food. Ms. Pam was the only employee who demonstrated any sense of urgency or professionalism, and she deserves recognition for actually doing her job. What was extremely frustrating was watching multiple employees casually walking around the kitchen, chatting, handling utensils, or pretending to be occupied while customers were clearly waiting to be served. One employee walked around with a clipboard appearing completely disengaged from the situation, while another employee made visible attempts to look busy instead of assisting. This type of behavior sends a very clear message that customer service is not a priority at this location. Employees should understand something very basic: customers are the reason the business operates at all. If customers are ignored, disrespected, or made to feel like an inconvenience, they will simply stop coming. When customers stop coming, the business loses revenue--and eventually employees lose hours, paychecks, and jobs. Additionally, the kitchen area appeared noticeably dirty, and the restaurant was out of guacamole, which further reflects poor management and lack of operational oversight. While the food itself was acceptable, the service experience was extremely disappointing and completely avoidable. For a company with the reputation and standards that Chipotle claims to uphold, this level of neglect toward customers is unacceptable. If you are military personnel in the area, I strongly recommend reconsidering supporting this location until management demonstrates that they respect both the community's service and the money being spent there. read more

I tried to call this restaurant earlier today but no one answered, so I'm leaving this here in case management sees it. I ate here yesterday evening and later that night I became very sick with food poisoning. I mainly wanted to bring it to someone's attention in case something might need to be checked with food handling or ingredients. I'm not trying to be rude or place blame--I just thought it would be responsible to let the restaurant know. I did try calling first because I felt it would be better to notify someone directly. Overall atmosphere: Customer service needs improvement. From eye rolling to a sassy attitude. If you're not built for the front counter, simply don't be put on the front counter. People come from all over & have different experiences at every location. Therefore if one customer has a question in regards to the menu items and condiments. YOU SHOULD HAVE THAT BASIC KNOWLEDGE to be able to help every customer. $40 worth of food nowadays. We the customers of course want the most for our $$. The Chipotle location in Hinesville has been charging if you want sour cream or any other item on the side. I live 20 minutes away from the location and prefer to have sour cream and salsa on the side so my bowl isn't mushy by the time I get it home. I refuse to pay an extra $1.85 for an item just because I don't want it on top of my bowl. You can't even use points for the extra cost of sides because they want you to pay cash. I think this is a rip off and I will not be going there again because of this ridiculous policy. read more

I've come here multiple times to eat in or order online and pick up. I've never had problems with the food. It's so freaking delicious and love their tortilla chips. Love the lime zest to it. My only issues was trying to get my free tortilla chips that my app said I could get but they said had to come back. Here it comes down to service and taste. Here is where this store lacks. The food was virtually tasteless. I went there twice. First time alone for a grab and go meal at lunch. Was not happy with the meal, but if fueled the fire so no biggie. The second time my friend wanted to go so in reluctantly went again and had the same experience. The food was boring. But the staff just seemed to not want to be there. I get it. Hard work and maybe they have something going on in their life. But so do I and I leave it at the door. One of the times I could see the order was messed up, as it had two salads instead of one salad and one burrito. They apologized, let us take both salads, and quickly made the burrito. The girl who made my salad was very sweet and greeted me right away. There were only a few customers at 2:30 on a Saturday. I got black beans, corn salsa, cheese, guac, and Chipotle salad dressing. The portions of each item she put on my salad was a lot! For $10 I basically have 2 meals. Also, try the sofritas if you aren't scared of tofu! It's really good. Update: I recently received my refund for the items that had been omitted from my most recent order. Been here a few times and it's pretty much as other reviewers have stated. Stale chips, food was nothing to write home about ect. I would like to add I ordered from the app recently, picked up my food and after I got home I realized some of my order was missing. After calling the store and speaking to a manager I was told I would get a refund. Well a week later and NO REFUND!! I called and spoke to another manager who told me to call corporate as they can't issue refunds. Unfortunately the number he gave was for the catering department!! So contrary to the managers "we'll make it right" comment a week later an email to corporate and now three phone calls to the store and they still haven't made an attempt to make it right!! read more

Ordered a burritto and when they were folding it they tore the tortilla. So she gets a new tortilla and milks the ingredients of the old one onto the new tortilla. Doing this left half of the ingredients in the old tortilla. When I said something about it they all just looked at me stupidly. Unfortunately your crew at the Hinesville, GA location doesn't wear name.tags so I can only describe the crewmember as a black female with long braided hair and the manager was a white male. Upon ordering I asked for a large queso on the side to which the crewmember proceeded to make a small queso. As trivial as it is, I corrected her saying, No ma'am that should be a large. Her response was so flippant, responding "you said a queso on the side." I corrected her again, saying no you are mistaken. She just wouldn't give in and make the large queso continuing to argue with me over a queso size I ordered!! She just kept attempting to get the last word over and over like a 12 year old girl. The manager stood there watching and never intervened until I asked him if he was the manager. He said he was the manager and responded, "I'll handle it." He came over and made a large queso as the crewmember walked off the front line. The whole thing is ridiculous but that young girl needs to find another job as customer service is not in her skill set. The manager needs some leadership training as well. My husband and I have had our fair share of Chipotle but this has to be the worst one we have ever had. We were fortunate enough to go on the opening night and some how the rice was old and hard and the meat was sour. Today we decided to give it a second chance and again the rice was old and crunchy, the chips were stale, the guacamole was old and a dark brown color and the beans were old. I would recommend going to Sucheros over chipotle simply because the portions are larger, the produce is fresh, and the chips are made fresh every 10-15 minutes.
